This was our third stay this year. It is a real gem and we will always come back to this great hotel whenever driving between our homes in Italy and Denmark. We can’t recommend this place highly enough, do you self a favour and experience this place for your self

I was here for dinner in San Gabriel. So I didn't see the hotel rooms, but the restaurant, some rooms and food. I like the style, that everything is done in an old monastery.

Insane. There is no other way to describe it! The concept is insane. Friendly staff. Cleanliness is very important. I have recommended it to all my friends. I will gladly go back! Keep it up. Great praise!

The hotel is in the style of a medieval monastery. Natural wood doors with wrought iron locks, a four-poster bed and stylish furniture. Nevertheless, comfort is provided. The adjacent restaurant "Mönche" serves high-quality food. I thought it was great.

We received very good service from the friendly staff and our room was excellent, spacious with a cozy feel to it. The building it self is amazing and gives a wonderful medieval feel, but with all the modern technology. The restaurant, Il Convento, was a very good experience. The service was excellent and the Italian food was amazing, we can only recommend enjoying a meal there in the superb setting. The breakfast was also a good experience. We will definitely use this place for our frequent trips between Italy and Denmark.

A bit different from the usual modern box hotels. It was really was a monastery, but the reconstruction as a hotel and restaurant is a touch kitsch and Disneyesque. For example, the waiters are dressed as monks. Our room was small and cell-like, but comfortable. Location is a bit odd, surrounded by supermarkets, petrol stations and a Momax superstore.

Ok stay, worst customer service in a while
Overnight stay, comfortable and a tidy room. It was very hot during the night as a stone house collects heat.
Major criticism concerns the young lady at the reception while checking out, she was chatting on the phone for ages and finally whispered to me something in the middle while I handed over the keys, worst customer service in a while.

Oh my god this place is superb! I cannot even believe we found it on accident and second the price was so reasonable for this incredible castle! Yes I did say castle! A real one(but newly constructed) with a modern makeover and old world feel. There’s really nothing better than an accident like this! Will be back for sure!!!
