Beautiful experience in this hotel. Old? Yes, but absolutely clean, everything works perfect. Breakfast? Delicious! With a lot of options for veggies and not veggies. Vegan? Watch out! Not that much options as well

The hotel was super quiet and chill, we were there for an entire week. Nice location, near the national park Jasmund and the Pier with a lot of good restaurants

Sadly, we weren’t in the room with the view for the beach but also for the city, even thou, nice view. Rooms full equipped for clean yourselves

it's like traveling in time back to the sixties, including lemon rolls and broiler. The upper floor panorama bar is awesome... check it out.

Very centrally located. Breakfast was great. Views from the sea facing rooms are really good. Rooms look a bit shabby but overall good experience and value for money.

I liked everything about this hotel. They keep the old fishermen style about it while keeping other things up to date. The food was very nice and the stuff were polite.

This is a nice hotel with excellent breakfast and an adjoining restaurant with good regional food. It is only steps away from the harbor, where ferrytrips are offered.

Spacious rooms, breakfast welk organised via time frames and buffet. Good place central to make a walk to the harbour.

The restaurant has a nice pub inside, and is more than good, marinated herrings were special, beers are cheaper than other places. English language is an option not available for most of personnel working there

the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all except at the entrance of the hotel but goes up and down. No laundry service is provided, I had to walk south for about one kilometer to find a laundry

I've been here for about three weeks for a job offshore the harbour, rooms are clean and nice, mine was facing the street so a bit noisy due to traffic and busses

The hotel is nicely situated but best reached by car. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. The only drawback for us was a damp smell in the room.

It is the perfect weekend getaway for both family and friends. The resort boasts a fantastic indoor playground that quickly became my kid's favorite spot

The enormous pool is a highlight as well, staying warm even in the winter, which made for a delightful swim. The friendly staff and excellent amenities make this a destination we'll be returning to again and again

Unfortunately, there is no possibility of getting dinner on site without having booked half board in advance. Swimming pool very cold and the outdoor saunas closed. Breakfast balanced and plentiful

It's quite alright but the indoor playground could use some upgrades, too. Worst part was the staff though. Be it at the hotel or the pool area. Most of them are rather standoffish and some downright weird

We had a nice large room on the 1st floor that included a small kitchen. The restaurant is above average, and can be recommended for the ones who like fine dishes

We stayed here for two nights and it was really comfortable! Very good breakfast, especially the yoghurt! Thai-dinner night was extremely good too! The foam soup is amazing!

Nice 3***s hotel, located in the countryside, in a central place in the island of Rügen. A good choice for those who want to visit different places of the island

First of all we have been astonished by a splendor and glamour of the lobby ! I felt like a princess ! Me and my partner were welcomed by gorgeous smile of the beautiful receptionist that later on helped us take all the right decisions

The hotel is great. Nice clean room with fully equipped kitchen. The pool was very nice. There are no places for shopping and just a few restaurants, ordering food deliveries was not possible.

The hotel is not "on the beach" but very close to it. You can as well find a swimming pool and a gym but be aware that the access is normally with some extra cost

Everything was so amazing, from helpful stuff to cosy and spacious apartments that I and my partner stay. Kitchen with all things that you need, amazing bathroom and comfy beds. Also spa area was great, clean and calm

Ferienwohnung with view to the ocean. It was unusual to have the reception not covered all day, but somehow okay. I personally would prefer to have staff on site 24/7

We really appreciated the variety of pools and saunas offered, especially at such a relatively reasonable price. Having a kitchenette was also a big plus for us

(It would have been perfect if a cutting board and a cooking knife had been available, too!) For travelers without a car, the ride to Binz train station was extremely helpful and much appreciated

Visited their spa / therme (we did not stay over night) and it was amazing. They have 3 pools, two with salt water and one with mineral water

We had booked breakfast as part of the package, at first glance it is very confusing, but then you find everything you need, it's just a shame that no fish was on offer, but that wasn't so bad

We can recommend it again and again, we had an apartment and it was not only very clean but also very spacious, even though we were only there to sleep and otherwise just out and about

The entrance to the spa is 36 euro per day but it has a cheaper price of 18 euros in the morning until 13. Can't be booked online but at the spa reception only

The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters

Right on the beach and the pool area is fantastic. We stayed in an apartment which was well equipped with everything you need. It's quite a walk to town but on a warm summer evening, that is fine

Great hotel in very good location The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts

Dogs are allowed for an extra €10. Mini tea kitchen and plenty of space for clothes. Nice touches for a beach resort, such as a hoover (for all that sand) and a clothes dryer (for wet swimwear)

But don't expect personal service - this is a HUGE place. And it's on the outskirts of Binz, about 15 minutes walk from the centre/pier. No breakfast provided - but plenty of other places, along the beach promenade

For what it is, it's wonderful. 3-star hotels come with limitations- found some other reviews quite harsh, considering the price point of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean

I had a good time spending my holidays there for a week. The breakfast could use an improvement though. Sauna room was great. The bed was comfortable.

Each went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. They both speak excellent English which helped since my German is limited. The breakfast buffet is excellent and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub

We had a great time staying at Rugard. We had a beautiful sea view from a room. It was nice to get a welcoming message on the bag with spa towels and bathrobes, and a small bootle of wine in the end of our stay

We booked the room with breakfast and dinner included, and all the meals we had were good. We stayed in the sauna and pool. We loved the discretion and cleanliness, the saunas are the highlight of this hotel

This hotel is such a treat with beautiful ammenities, fantastic food, friendly staff in. Picturesque location. We travelled around Europe from New Zealand and this was our favourite place real luxury!

I don't 5 star often at all and I have reviewed over 200 hotels and resorts but this one deserves the ratings. Be aware though some of the paperwork says 10am checkout but it is actually 11am

The spa in the basement was not to big, but enough. The restaurant serves very good food and the breakfast had everything. The women in the the breakfast-restaurant are the best. and so are the front desk staff

This hotel is close to perfect. Great facilities and service above normal. The location could not have been better. The room we got was bigger than ecpected with full equipment

I don’t have anything bad to say - which is a really good review. The staff were lovely, so welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was really nice with comfortable beds, and soundproofed walls

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff are super friendly and efficient. We had a room with a balcony facing away from the sea, but in the end it was in the sun all day and was quiet at night

I am very conflicted about this hotel! It has many very good points: a nice spa with pool, whirlpool, sauna. The best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. But there is two big buts: No airconditioner in the room

Perfect location. Just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Room is comfortable and clean. Unfortunately no Air conditioner. But you can close the curtain during sunny times to keep the room temperature cool.

The hotel is highly recommended. However, it is recommended to book the hotel only after the coronation events are fully completed!. The underground car park is very narrow

Spent 3 nights here, very pleased. The rooms are very clean and modern. You can hear any conversation outside through the courtyard, but it didn't bother us too much

Negatives include the mediocre friendliness of the reception staff, who provided insufficient information about the wellness area, sauna towels that you have to get at the reception (why?), and too little information about the structure of the associated hotels

This area they work on minimal staff but they do not compromise or affect standards. Buffet breakfast was good too

Very nice suites, with a balcony and large windows. The suites can also be booked by couples. There were a lot of couples there. Great breakfast buffet until 11 a. Very helpful and friendly staff

Very nice hotel. Distance to the beach: 2 minutes. The employees are very relaxed, which makes it very easy to switch off and relax. Everything is well maintained and clean. We would like to come again!

The only drawback is parking prices - unfortunately you have to rely on them - otherwise you are only allowed to park for 2 hours on the public road - of course for a fee!

The food at the very romantic restaurant is very good with helpful staff and smiling. You should definitely book a spa treatment and Sandra with her magical hands could relax my head pain and neck stiffness

There is an indoor pool that you can use for one hour per room. Simply enter in a list with date and time. Breakfast is rich and delicious. When the weather is nice you can sit outside

The guesthouse is located directly on the Schmachter See and you are only 5 minutes (700 meters) from the beach. The rooms are well equipped and very clean

The wooden clad salons and dining facilities bring you back some 100 years but this does not apply to the guests, dressed in 21st century T-shirts, shorts, sandals and tattoos even for their Sunday dinner in the park

It was a holiday apartment, very nice landlord and the whole organization and scheduling worked perfectly. Schuldt has taken care of very nice. Rügen is always worth a visit
