We checked in around 3:00 PM on 28th December 2025 and stayed in a standard double room. The receptionist on duty at that time provided excellent, friendly service. He was very kind, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant.
The room was clean, comfortable, and the overall stay was enjoyable. Adding tea, coffee, and sugar sachets in each room would make the experience even better and help improve guest satisfaction. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel.

We booked this specific hotel for our dog during the New Year’s Eve, because we thought the area near the airport has banned fireworks. WRONG. Inside the room is quiet, but it was impossible to leave the hotel from 15:00 onwards, due to constant fire crackers blowing up near by. We’ll look for a different hotel next year.

I showed up at the wrong hotel only to find out my company had booked this one.
After a short uber ride it was very nice and good service, room was comfortable and once I had settled my stuff in the room, the hotel was very close to a translation for a 45 min train ride to Central Berlin.

I can not persuade everyone enough to stay far far away from this hotel. First, the lady working the front desk had a horrible attitude. We had just flown in from the states and were there for an American football game that evening. When we went to check in at 10am she said not a single room was available nor was a paid upgrade room even though they had sent me 5 emails over the last 5 days to upgrade! She made us take a nap in the "lounge" area and as we walked by to use the bathroom, which the signs misinformed where it was and employees in the breakfast area yelled to get out, we saw her playing on her phone when she could have been cleaning a room! When we asked again an hour later about a room she said 1 opened up but that it would be 30 euro to enter early, more than half of what we paid for the night! This agent had zero sympathy or empathy and I'm sure it was because we were American! We then asked about transportation and food and got a very blunt response such as "train" or "sir, you are by the airport area. There is no food". Pay the extra money and go elsewhere and to my fellow Americans skip the intercity brand and stay with other well knowns such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or IHG! Anyone but Intercity!

Hotel worked well as I had landed too late to pick up rental car on the same evening. Easy to get from airport via train and 500 meters of walk, so if you are not carrying anything heavy it is easy

Worked well to base out with idea of renting car and driving around, while not intending to visit center of Berlin.

Hotel can be described place to sleep in, when needed. Rooms are simple and generally hotel is in ok condition, but not perfect. Truth is that no need to be fancy when you are there to sleep your night before heading off again. In that sense great value for money and works for the purpose. Staff was friendly and helped always quickly on my questions

The room was spacious and clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The hotel is also conveniently located about 10 to 15 minutes by car from the airport. I would definitely consider staying here again

Super near the airport Andy there is self auto check in system which speed up everything. Room and toilet are big and spacious. I will book this hotel brand again.
