NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie

Outstanding hotel. First class service and hospitality. Had issues with the TV to work but got that fixed immediately, breakfast was incredible so many options. It’s clean and quiet. Excellent location, easy access to the subway and bus stops. Walkable to many shops and historic things. Will definitely stay again.

Spent four nights at this hotel. Rooms spotless and good location. The breakfast has a very large choice and is very nice. We had a few drinks in the bar and the staff were lovely. In particular Hagen and Anjana who went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable evening

NH Collection Berlin Checkpoint Charlie was absolutely beautiful walking in the door. We were there over Christmas and the decore was stunning.

Immediately upon entering the front desk staff were welcoming and conversed easily in English.

Once we got to our room, it was clean, spacious, and the beds were wonderful to sleep on. (Incredibly firm mattress) hearing noise wasn’t an issue. A very quiet hotel for being in Central Berlin.

The hotel was close to a lot of restaurants within walking distance. And easy to get to the Christmas markets.

The breakfast buffet though was the best I have ever experienced or seen. The assortment of food and beverages was unreal. It was enough to fill you up all day. Absolutely spectacular.

The bar area was fun and had great atmosphere with different types of seating areas. Food was delicious.

Overall a great hotel in a good location. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was outstandingly friendly. We were able to check in a few hours early which was very convenient. The breakfast was delicicous with a lot of food options, I also loved that it was offered till noon on Sundays.
The only negative aspect is that the bathroom is a bit outdated and used, was not perfectly clean and doesn't have ventilation. For the price we paid I would expect a bathroom in better condition.

Reception, guest services, and all the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful! We had an issue with our fan/AC and it was fixed asap. The rooms were clean but the beds were not as comfortable as we would’ve liked but we still got good rest. Would recommend this hotel!!

Super nice hotel! Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet at night. All you can eat rest for breakfast was really nice too. The staff was really nice and welcoming during my entire stay. Price for value felt amazing.

My friend and I had a fantastic experience. Everything about our stay was superb. The rooms were clean, modern and very tidy. The service was superb and we were made to feel very welcome. The location was convenient and a walkable distance to the city centre. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to travel to Berlin and we would definitely stay again!

Great hotel with great price - quality ratio.

We are regulars at this hotel, and over the years, the service and hotel have been great. It is conveniently located. When we go to Berlin, this hotel is our main choice.

This time, there were some issues at check-in. However, a special shout out to the manager on duty, Mahmoud W., who solved these issues swiftly and appropriately.

We look forward to our next stay!

The location was good, the staff was friendly and efficient.
The room was ok, but some of the items in it were a bit too worn. The bed was really good and I really liked the duvet I got and the bedsheets.
We asked for 2 extra duvets as neither we or our children can share one. One of them was a really worn down duvet. The down in it was almost dust.
The breakfast was pretty awesome. Great variety and quality.
So all in all a great experience :)

Very happy with this location. Have stayed here previously and brought my family back for a city break. We were very well looked after by Anjana and Hummi in the bar. They were very accommodating for our poor German and went over and beyond to ensure our party were satisfied. Very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy. Will definitely be using this hotel when back in Berlin for business or family.
