We stayed for one night here. The hotel is very basic and has very limited facilities within a room. There was no refrigerator, no electric kettle even. The pillows given seemed to be awfully old and did not retain their shape at all. Overall, at this price I would expect the facilities to be better. The staff was polite and cooperative.

I recently stayed at Dorint Hotel Sanssouci twice for work and was left with mixed feelings about my experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, situated conveniently in Potsdam with easy access to local attractions and amenities. The hotel itself is quite large with plenty of rooms and spaces, making it an ideal choice for business travelers or those attending conferences.
On both occasions, I paid an average of 160€ per night. However, I was surprised and quite disappointed to learn that the hotel doesn't offer king-size or double-size beds. Despite booking a double room, I was given rooms with twin beds, which were uncomfortable and did not meet my expectations for the price point.
During my first stay, my room included a tea and coffee station, which I found to be a nice touch. Unfortunately, on my second stay with the same booking category, I was placed in a connected room without this amenity. When I inquired about this at the reception, I was told I would need to pay extra or upgrade to a higher room category to receive it. This inconsistency was frustrating, especially considering the cost per night.
On the positive side, the hotel offers a nice spa, swimming pool, and sauna rooms, though it is disappointing that guests have to pay 2.5€ per bathrobe and that slippers were not available during my stay. The highlight of my visit was definitely the breakfast, which featured a wide variety of options and was well worth the additional cost.
Overall, while the location and some amenities at Dorint Hotel Sanssouci are commendable, the issues with room amenities and additional charges for basic comforts leave much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experiences and do not plan to stay here again.

Great hotel huge and cosy rooms.
Big underground parking but its not free... cost 25euro per night... pretty expensive for my opinion. . Should be included in the room or some how discounted for hotel guests.

Not great spa episodes. The spa on Sunday was supposed to be on from 8.00 Sunday, at 9.45 was still off, and when asked to be turned on, after more than an hour no one did anything (then I left, so no idea about timing).
Front desk attitude was not the greatest, I was told that spa open at 8.00 was a new thing and they were not well informed about it, while website, the screen behind him and spa door stated that opening hour. And, after having said that I booked a breakfast in the hotel for having a spa right afterwards, I was told that I could have done breakfast in another restaurant nearby.
Nevertheless after my complaints, breakfast and spa services were removed from my bill.
But this attitude does not belong to a 4 stars hotel.
Few little room details could be fixed, like a little iron bar part of the closet or the napkins container edge in the bathroom.
Positive notes, the spa, when on, was good. Swimming pool small but quiet and with hydromassage. Breakfast has great variety of everything. Hotel walkable from centre (not even ten minutes).

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends for New Year’s Eve. In total I stayed 3 nights and the beds were very small but comfortable. The rooms were a nice size but the bathroom were most impressive. I enjoyed the dual shower heads and the toilet had its own door which was nice. It was very modern but made me feel at home. There is a parking garage down stairs, but it does cost 20€ daily and the hotel doesn’t comp you for it like some hotels. The staff was very friendly and called cabs for us a few times. Overall, I’d recommend this place to stay 10 out of 10.

clean. good beds. simple room design. nothing too exciting.
great location if you visit potsdam with castle sanssouci and the historic markers.
they only have one charging station which charges two e-cars at the same time.
and you need to have a RFID card from the front desk. not really a great UX.
to free up the station is at the grace of the individual e-car driver.
i hope the hotel learns that more and more e-cars are on the road and they need boost their charge availability.
simple power sockets for the parking spots suffice as people stay over night and have plenty of time to slow charge. no re-parking needed.

Four of us stayed here for a few days in August and were pleasantly surprised. This is a spacious, bright place with friendly staff.
Though a little bit tired, the rooms were clean, quiet and VERY big. The air conditioning was also much appreciated.
The restaurant is good for a hotel. The breakfast buffet was abundant, with plenty of seating, including outside.
The location is good: 15 minutes’ pleasant walk to Park Sanssouci and 10-12 minutes to all the restaurants and cafes you could want. The Alexandrowka park is right across the street for a relaxed stroll.
A few other notes: a small repair in a bathroom was dealt with within a few hours. At the time of our stay, the pool was under repair. The in-room tablets didn’t work for ordering room service. The rooms were being cleaned every other day due to COVID-related staffing issues, which we didn’t mind - we received a drinks voucher to mark up for it. If you want to eat at the restaurant, be sure to book a reservation.
