Located right on the bank of the Spree, the nhow Berlin is just a short distance from Berlin Tegel Airport and Berlin Central Station. The nhow Berlin has many nearby attractions. Guests will find that the Oberbaumbrücke, the Arena Badeschiff, and the Ratibortheater are all within walking distance. However, this hotel offers more than the usual in terms of in-house entertainment. Immerse yourself in art and music at our in-house concerts, exhibitions and fashion shows. Our freshly designed selection of 304 soundproof rooms offer guitar and keyboard room service, Ipod docking stations and flat screen TVs besides free Wi-Fi, minibars, Nespresso machines rain effect showers etc. Upgraded larger rooms feature connecting rooms, sitting areas, sofas, and a sofa bed. Cats and dogs are welcome to stay with their owners. A daily breakfast buffet is prepared for guests along with cooked-to-order hot dishes which are available upon request. For lunch and dinner, Restaurant Fabrics opens its doors and offers local and international cuisine. Our gym is equipped with a sauna and our spa offers guests a Finnish sauna, steam baths, and biosauna. For meetings and events, there are 12 function spaces with the biggest Spree terraces in Berlin.

The food was diverse, carefully prepared, and absolutely delicious. However, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, especially Oscar, who went above and beyond to assist me with an early check-in. His professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference.
I highly recommend nhow Berlin and would definitely stay there again!
The positives:
- The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
- Soundproofing between the rooms was good.
- The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
However, there were numerous issues that detracted from the experience:
- Reservation Mix-Up: I had specifically requested two single beds instead of a double bed, but this was not reflected in the room assignment upon arrival.
- Missing Amenities: Basic items in a hotel like bathrobes and slippers were missing from the room, and we were told to order them via room service. Unfortunately, the app didn’t work, and no one at the reception answered the phone despite multiple attempts on different days.
- Light and Noise Issues: While the rooms were soundproofed well from other rooms, we could hear everything happening in the hallway. Additionally, there was a gap under the door, letting light from the corridor into the room at night, which made it impossible to have complete darkness.
- Wellness Area: The wellness area was underwhelming. There was no jacuzzi, only a sauna and a hammam, and the hammam was out of service. The gym locker room lights stopped working after a certain time, and towels were unavailable later in the day.
- Misleading Information: A brochure in the room mentioned that phone chargers were available via room service. However, we were told at the reception that these were no longer provided for free and had to be purchased for €20.
While the hotel wasn’t bad overall, these recurring small issues added up and left us feeling that the service didn’t meet the expectations for a 4-star establishment. It’s a shame because we did enjoy our stay to some extent, but the lack of attention to detail was disappointing.
If I return to Berlin, I won’t rule out staying here again, but I’ll definitely check other options first.

During my stay, I went to the lobby four times in a single day requesting access to a keyboard, only to be told repeatedly that both keyboards (apparently there are only two in a hotel with over 150 rooms) were unavailable. This felt misleading and unacceptable for a service that is prominently advertised.
To make matters worse, I sent an email to the hotel kindly communicating my feedback and asking for a response, but I received no reply at all. This lack of acknowledgment further reinforced how little they seem to care about guest satisfaction.
Overall, I felt scammed, as what was promised was not delivered, and no alternatives were offered. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values honesty and reliable service. Avoid if you can.
