I stayed here for 4 nights, the location is strategic and comfortable

Stayed for 5 nights on a Great Rail Journey's holiday. A modern hotel that can cope with lots of large groups. Very comfortable rooms, good facilities. Self service restaurant food can be a bit hit and miss but generally good choice and value. Helpful staff and located within easy reach of the local attractions.

Superb location right in the middle of town. A historically significant building that is well-maintained. The staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. It is a very, very quiet place as there is no vehicular traffic anywhere near. Occasionally there are sounds of people having fun and laughing outside, which is a really pleasant sound. It was warm, cosy room. They put a bed story next to your bed. That was cute. The story relates to the name of the hotel. Wonderful!!! It is next to the central city Christmas market!!! Great sauna and nice staff. The apartments are comfortable and spacious but some of the furniture is a bit shabby which feels strange. Breakfast was ok, not exactly great but that might be due to the times. (COVID)

This is a nice small hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a typical small hotel breakfast. Good thing is that you can use your invoice as a ticket in Wernigerode buses. I would definitely stay there again. And they also have a sauna in the hotel but I didn't try it.

Charming building right below the castle, at the entrance of the Old Town. Very welcoming employees. Free parking lot. Amazing breakfast. Only remark would be that the rooms in the 'new' aisle are a little bit small if you have luggages. Otherwise, for a weekend in Wernigerode, I highly recomment the Hotel Fürstenhof!

Qaint and romantic hotel. Stable wifi and easy parking. Rooms a bit old but adequate for the price. The check in closed at ten when we visited so call ahead if you're running late. Very friendly staff. Great free breakfast

Nice place in historical building. Provides great view on castle which is on top of the hill. Historical centre is in 5min by walk. Friendly staff. Finnish/Turkish sauna included in the room price.

Hello, we were in Wernigerode for the first time to visit the annual Oktoberfest with friends. The pension is in a very quiet location, but still centrally located so that you can reach the very beautiful city center in a short time on foot. Everything is very clean and the landlords were very nice. We would book the pension again at any time.

Well we have to say it was one of the nicest vacation rentals we've ever had. The apartment itself is very well maintained and very well furnished with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is in a very idyllic location right next to the forest. Pure tranquility. The staff is super friendly, the rooms very clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant looks very cool and therefore not very cozy. Our breakfast was varied, only we didn't like the rolls, but this is a matter of taste.

We were on a trip in the town and came across this absolutely amazing and authentic place. The food was just fire- we’ve got a roast deer with “Knödel” and a salmon on a potato patty as a starter. We booked a double room, which turned out to be a nice size studio flat. Little kitchen, big bathroom with a bathtub and massive bedroom/ living room/ dining room. We also had a nice balcony with table and chairs. The whole place is very nice, big and rustical. The road nearby can be a little noisy in the room and the reception staff could be more friendly.

The rooms are large and luxurious. The staff friendly and welcoming. The highlight of the visit was the night porter and the chef letting us stay at the bar and making sure we were fed and watered despite both bar and kitchen being closed

It's a beautiful hotel right next to the Blankenburg Castle. It's in 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. The room was very clean with a really nice view. My only complaint would be the wifi speed.

Friendly and courteous staff, who accommodated us very obligingly. The location in Braunlage is also very good, the rooms are large and clean. Shower in the tub is not that nice. The hotel can certainly not do anything for the sometimes insane Corona requirements, but it makes the stay extremely uncomfortable, almost clinical.

Overall, I was happy. The bathroom was new with a large shower. What I was missing were towel rails at the head of the shower, you had to step out of it to dry off. What annoyed me, however, was that my breakfast table, which I had for two days, was suddenly reserved for another gentleman, and I was assigned a cat table with a pillar in front of me. This is a no-go .. and does not work at all ..

We were only here to eat. This was very good. The portions were also absolutely sufficient. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back more often on the next vacation, even if you run out of calories before and after.

More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service. We were in the main building. Perfect base for the Burgberg, Goslar and Werningerode (with the steam train to the Brocken, 1142 m high).

It is a really clean nice place right in the center of Bad Harzburg, 10 min away from the train station and close to nice restaurants. It gives a really good breakfast.

Loved our stay here! The property is charming and historic in all the right places, while the rooms have been updated for comfort. A beautiful hotel in a unique setting! We had wonderful junior suite that was refurbished in modern style. Bathroom was roomy but the shower’s water pressure was really bad. Breakfast was really nice with perfect fried eggs! Only if you allergic to dust be wary of the carpets!

You can park your car safe and free of charge in the garden of the hotel. Our reception was a little bit awkward. They could not find our reservation and started quarreling in front of us. We really liked the history and the tour of the castle.The room was nice.There was a small fire in the maintenance room and the alarm went off.The staff extinguished the fire but did not call the fire department. We were pleasantly surprised at just how grand this castle is and on large grounds overlooking the old town of Altstadt just a couple minutes walk. We booked this hotel a year in advance as we know during Christmas market time is very busy and we requested a room with view of market on the 2nd floor. Where we had stayed once before and had fantastic views from every window in our room.
