A small, nice, clean family hotel highly recommended. Around the corner is the shopping mile with many shops. The hotel is of course inexpensive and we liked the food. You should love simplicity and not expect luxury

We had half board and there was nothing to complain about at breakfast or dinner. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable! If you expect a five-star standard for the extremely low price, you can't help it

The hotel room is clean and in order, breakfast is completely sufficient for the price, even if it's baked rolls, it's right in the city center and for a 5 day vacation 130€ it couldn't be better, completely fine for me

In the evening you cannot sit in the restaurant and have a drink; there is also no vending machine with drinks. there is no longer any staff in the hotel. The whole thing is not a hotel, but a guesthouse with meals

You get the impression that saving money is the top priority in this hotel. A hotel room without a shower gel dispenser in the bathroom, no hairdryer in the room, a small TV with poor sound and no WiFi

It's a hotel and restaurant right next to the namegiving Schanzen. The location provides indoor and outdoor tables. I didn't visit the rooms but they will be fantastic if they look as good as the restaurant

The brunch buffet was just as delicious as a normal A la carte plate while you can choose to eat whatever and how much you want. The staff was always nice and competent

It's a nice place! Great view. The room I shared with someone didn't have a blanket and pillow, so I got the extra blanket and pillow. But they do give you gummy bears!

Nice place to stay as a starting point for various hiking trips to the Harz mountains. Decently furnished rooms that have names like "Orient", "Paris" and "Himalaya".

I have stayed here a few times when I visit the area. The hotel is clean and the service is friendly and professional. I ate at the restaurant one night and appreciated the vegan options on the menu.

Very nice and big rooms (we booked comfort category) with direct view to the marketplace. The only we missed was a coffee machine in the room. However, there is probably not a better place to stay in Wernigerode

This hotel cost all penny that you paid for it. And breakfast do good to loose it. Easy underground parking from hotel. Staff is professional and friendly Rooms is clean and quiet.. Highly recommended Town is perfect.

Thoroughly delightful, very friendly staff, great breakfast, and great location. My only complaint would be how rough the bath towels were, and the absence of a wash cloth. Otherwise about as good as it gets.

Ringhotel is situated in the center of the City Wernigerode. Not far away from all visiting points of interest. I felt very comfortable and well supported, from the first contact by phone till the check-out

The living area is equipped with super comfortable sofas, as well as TV including Sky TV and stereo system. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a great rain shower. There is also a sauna between the bathrooms

Modern and very high quality furnished holiday homes in a quiet location. The train station is only a two-minute walk away. Very nice landlord! Our recommendation for a visit to the Harz Mountains.

There is a terrace with a dining area and lounge furniture that invites you to linger. At the dining table inside there is even a socket with a USB connection for charging your mobile phone

Great vacation home! You lack nothing. The welcome is very warm and you are shown the house, you get tips on what to do. There is also a folder with lots of information in the house

Breakfast is a typical small hotel breakfast. Good thing is that you can use your invoice as a ticket in Wernigerode buses. I would definitely stay there again. And they also have a sauna in the hotel but I didn't try it

Nice place in historical building. Provides great view on castle which is on top of the hill. Historical centre is in 5min by walk. Friendly staff. Finnish/Turkish sauna included in the room price.

Great sauna and nice staff. The apartments are comfortable and spacious but some of the furniture is a bit shabby which feels strange. Breakfast was ok, not exactly great but that might be due to the times. (COVID)

Charming building right below the castle, at the entrance of the Old Town. Only remark would be that the rooms in the 'new' aisle are a little bit small if you have luggages

Rooms a bit old but adequate for the price. The check in closed at ten when we visited so call ahead if you're running late

Great. Note that the sauna stops letting people in 1 hour before closing, and shuts down the saunas 10 minutes before closing.

Clean, spacious, well heated house. 4 adults and 2 children sharing and we had plenty of room. In terms of amenities at the hotel, we only used the swimming pool and found it to be very good.

As we arrived our house was very clean. We were welcomed in a pleasant way. Our house was quite close to the pool/bar/bowling/etc. But some houses are located pretty far away

The swimming pool is nice with a fun water slide, and it has an average size. The swimming pool is open till 22:00 o'clock

We paid extra for linen and the only things inside were 2 dishwasher tabs and 3 rolls of toilet paper. The sleeper couch is dated and and my 11 year old said that it smells like old man's armpits, and I can't disagree

For the price, there could be a little more. The biggest thing of all is that you have instructions to mostly clean the unit yourself before checking out

The hotel is situated on the northeast end of Breite Straße, the main street of Wernigerode and it is not far from the main train station

The room is comfortable but the room window is facing the hotel inner courtyard which is also used as the outdoor dining area for the hotel restaurant so it can be a little bit noisy in the early evening but it is all quiet at night

The hotel reception access is on Grüne Straße which is a side street off Breite Straße but in the morning it can be difficult to find a staff at the reception

A nice hotel with amazing rooms. I do though reccomend that you check in before 20:00, later than that can make it a little troublesome.

There are several selections to choose from, both hot and cold items

Thus though the restaurant staff treated us as normal for breakfast -- albeit being very anxious not to say bossy, about where we sat -- during the rest of the day they treated us as if they had not seen us before and being (overly) insistent on prior booking

Easy walking distance to Town center. Do not speak English though if you do not speak German. Have a free Sauna if you are interested

Decent hotel, clean, quiet. Wifi is ok, a big parking in front of hotel. Nothing special though, nothing extra perfect. There is a nice path through forest to the nearby castle.

You shouldn't expect luxury, but nice people, relaxing time and lots of beautiful nature. The walk to the pedestrian zone is not too far, but not well-lit in the dark

Idyllic location, with simple rooms. The extra entrance to the annex is an advantage for me, which is very practical as a dog owner

On the -1 floor of the hotel there is a swimming pool with hydromassage, sauna, stone legatski. What we need after a good walk in the mountains. All free, about saunas charge per hour

Gets a bit loud since it's situated next to a fairly busy road but it's not a big deal. We rented the family room with kitchenette and it was nice and spacious

Great hotel in an old mansion with modern appliances. We had a spacious room with a balcony and views of the castle. The bathroom is made of expensive tiles, plumbing is not cheap

The location of hotel is close to marktplatz but far from HBF. There is a bus stop and buses 201,204 go to hbf. Also, you can get the brockenbahn ticket at reception

Stayed for 2 nights in an apartment for 2 people. The room was like a studio apartment but spacious. It was clean, huge bathroom as well with a tub

If you want to cook you can but there were no utensils only cutlery and plates were provided

Room was okay. Like on my last visit it wasn't heated upon arrival. Bath had some dirty spots and door showed signs of a break in. Other than that everything was fine and there's a great breakfast buffet.

nice little hotel right behind the tourist office. My room is right at the back of the restaurant. Once got check-in, I could go to the city by passing through the stair at the restaurant

Everything went perfectly. Everything you need plus a steam sauna was on site. All clean. Only the couch could be a bit more comfortable. Thanks for the nice stay!

The pension is in a very quiet location, but still centrally located so that you can reach the very beautiful city center in a short time on foot. Everything is very clean and the landlords were very nice

The owner very courteous and very helpful would also get things if you noticed what should be missing in the apartment. The location of the apartment is excellent, you can easily walk to everything

Attended a wedding party at the hotel. They prepared the Terrasse for us and we had the place for our own. Lovely prepared food and friendly staff. Quite neighborhood and good music

We were very excited! Had a clean and very spacious room (child had its own bedroom and there was a small kitchen). Pool and sauna in the basement were great. And the extremely friendly staff sweetened our stay.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and felt very comfortable overall. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. We almost always had a great bath and a nice sauna to ourselves

With breakfast and in the basement is a pool with jacuzzi. Relax after a stressful day, simply wonderful. Cleanliness is good, breakfast is sufficient. One tries to respond to the wishes of the guests

Unfortunately without air conditioning. So bring your own fan on hot days. Tip to the owners: a safe would be useful. Walking around with all your valuables all day might not be the best thing

The only thing is that the beds are a bit saggy and not all of the small defects that were indicated were corrected during our stay. All in all I can recommend this hotel

The parking facilities are sufficient in my opinion. The location is perfect, it is only a few minutes to the train station/bus and the beautiful center

The owner kindly changed the place from the circus center to out side of the center since we had a car. Very nice roomy place and did have good stay there
