A small, nice, clean family hotel highly recommended. Around the corner is the shopping mile with many shops. The hotel is of course inexpensive and we liked the food. You should love simplicity and not expect luxury

If you're looking for a budget-friendly vacation, this is definitely a recommendation. There's a parking garage nearby, €8. Otherwise, only residents' parking spaces and paid parking areas are available

Easy walking distance to Town center. Do not speak English though if you do not speak German. Have a free Sauna if you are interested

On the -1 floor of the hotel there is a swimming pool with hydromassage, sauna, stone legatski. What we need after a good walk in the mountains. All free, about saunas charge per hour

Gets a bit loud since it's situated next to a fairly busy road but it's not a big deal. We rented the family room with kitchenette and it was nice and spacious

As we arrived our house was very clean. We were welcomed in a pleasant way. Our house was quite close to the pool/bar/bowling/etc. But some houses are located pretty far away

The swimming pool is nice with a fun water slide, and it has an average size. The swimming pool is open till 22:00 o'clock

The swimming pool is public and is very nice for families with kids. We had a lot of fun there.

Clean, spacious, well heated house. 4 adults and 2 children sharing and we had plenty of room. In terms of amenities at the hotel, we only used the swimming pool and found it to be very good.

Great. Note that the sauna stops letting people in 1 hour before closing, and shuts down the saunas 10 minutes before closing.

It's a hotel and restaurant right next to the namegiving Schanzen. The location provides indoor and outdoor tables. I didn't visit the rooms but they will be fantastic if they look as good as the restaurant

The brunch buffet was just as delicious as a normal A la carte plate while you can choose to eat whatever and how much you want. The staff was always nice and competent

It's a nice place! Great view. The room I shared with someone didn't have a blanket and pillow, so I got the extra blanket and pillow. But they do give you gummy bears!

Nice place to stay as a starting point for various hiking trips to the Harz mountains. Decently furnished rooms that have names like "Orient", "Paris" and "Himalaya".

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room faced the backyard so it was very quiet. I absolutely enjoyed staying here.

The breakfast service is very good. The room service only cleaned the room on request. The shower is not for people with claustrophobia. The light strips in the hallway, on the stairs you should rather remove or relocate

We were in the restaurant for dinner and it was amazing! Very tasty, delicious, nice menu and very nice and attentive (and also high professional!) service. Children get a small gift to be busy while they are waiting

Charming and quiet hotel in one of the best spots in Harzen for mountainbiking and gravel cycling. Staff is nice, and food is some of the best I had in all of Germany.

Everything was great. The location is beautiful, right in the forest. The food was good too.

Fortunately, the heater in the small room and bathroom still worked, otherwise the quilt would have been so thin that it would have frozen. For Green Earth, the room will not be cleaned during your stay

I was prepared for the hotel to be very German, but the experience this time was beyond imagination. The external environment is good, in a forest. There are no signs on the road or outside room doors

The most surprising thing is that there are no curtains in the room, only blackout curtains on ordinary glass. It is difficult to sleep after dawn in the morning

You have to go up the hill from the hall and enter another house to see the room signs. In our family room, the heater in the large room outside didn't work

4 stars instead of 5 are just to give them a hint, next times at Christmas Buffet, just notice guests if they book the Christmas package that it wouldn’t be Christmas food because of children

For my feeling, Christmas Buffet was not as good as the buffet on normal day. We were a little disappointed but ok, they have all of the plus points from room, service and staffs
