I had the pleasure of staying at the **Sauerland Stern Hotel** during the **BGHW Sifa Fortbildung**, and it was a delightful experience

Good size room. Helpful staff. I like the bathroom which has a separate toilet. Only wished they served Asian food as options. Their German food was bland and salty.

Excellent hotel. Well organized. Friendly and high qualified staff. Acceptable prices. Close to skiing, walking and other sport facilities. My wife and I have stayed in this hotel 7 times, with much pleasure.

The attentive staff and the variety of amenities made my visit truly enjoyable. Whether you're attending a conference or simply looking for a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend the Sauerland Stern Hotel

Friendly staff and very good food. There are enough sun loungers by the pool. Sauna and indoor swimming pool restricted to people. Rooms 1 and 2 exposed to noise from slamming doors that lead to the sunbathing area

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig

1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being

Today after four nights I unfortunately have to say that the black hair in the bathroom is still in the same place in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was great and we'll be back

Amazing hotel to go to! Great service and rooms are nice and big (we had a family room). Dog friendly! Forest and great walking routes are very close by. Would reccomend a family room with breakfast

This hotel in Üsseln is close to the village of Willingen where you can go skiing. The hotel knows 3 buildings next to each other with different types of rooms and views

Breakfast has a lot of options and is very fresh everyday

But in winter have swimming pool is really nice for kids !! Not much hotel around there have swimming pool! For this , I advise this is a wonderful place for you to rest. A pool and sauna!! Wonderful!

One side the rooms have a really nice view, unfortunately the ground floor had the parking in front of their window. Plenty parking, no EV charging available at hotel

A very nice hotel with good service and great food. Although the wellness area is advertised to be very big, it is mostly resting area. There are 3 saunas and a sudatorium. The swimming pool is good, but not very big

And the fitness area is quite dull but enough for a run or a quick work out. All in all a good place to stay in a great central location

Stayed at this hotel on a business trip for the company, very nice staff made us welcome and the rooms extremely large and nicely furnished. Breakfast was enjoyable lots of choices.

The room has a kitchen which can be booked at an additional € 10 per day. As the oven didn’t function properly, hotel staff offered to help us out by cooking our oven dishes in their own oven

As we stayed there for my birthday, the owners very thoughtfully decorated our breakfast table with lovely flowers and we were served a complimentary glass of German champagne

But although Usseln itself is quite small, it has several restaurants in walking distance

The comfort room we booked was outdated in terms of decor but the size of the room, the view and the very comfortable beds more than made up for that

Quiet hotel a stone's throw from the greenery, you can start going on some picnics right from the hotel. Otherwise Willingen is a couple of minutes away by car. Good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms

Location is excellent. Very secluded and it is pitch black dark in the middle of night. Breakfast arrangement is very good sand the staff is helpful as well.

A bit remote from the bars in Willingen. We called a taxi because we were simply too comfortable to walk. But it is quiet at night, there is a pool and sauna. Rooms are clean, safe, TV and balcony available

We were in Willingen, quite spontaneously, for a short trip of just one night and only booked the hotel room the day before our arrival. The code for contactless check-in arrived via email in good time before 3 p

A bit hidden next to a hotel. No reception staff, the key was in a safe deposit box, code sent via text message. Clean but noisy room. Only saw a female employee at the otherwise good breakfast.

You are very careful about the times when you arrive, as the door to the key safe was locked 10 minutes earlier. These are just small things on the whole, and the small hotel can be recommended without any problems

Contact the host by email or telephone, which I didn't find so nice when I arrived. I would have been happy about a personal reception, but that's my opinion

Well-located small hotel in the middle of Willingen. Breakfast sufficient and tasty. Rooms need a bit of renovation here and there, but comfortable

Our room wasn't the most modern, but still perfectly ok and clean. In the conservatory, drinks and small snacks were available for self-service. In the morning we realized that we should have booked breakfast separately

The location is very nice, from the balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view! There is a golf course directly opposite the hotel. The handling of the shower was a bit difficult, a renewal would perhaps make sense here

I advise everyone to have a good vacation. It has a beautiful park behind the hotel for both children and adults to be able to walk or even to do sports. A good pool as well as a sauna

Overall good, but with some quirks like a radiator in the bathroom that can’t be switched off in summer (ok, it’s September, but still above 20 degrees) and a really mysterious note in a cupboard drawer (see pic)

We didn't like the nearly unusable WiFi in our room. Only in the reception it could be used for light surfing, and things were not good with 4G either due to its remote location

The employees and the manager are always available to help customers and always well smiling

3 nice showers, 2 very nice and warm jacuzzis', a hot sauna and many other wonderful things. A good and long bed and a shower with warm water. I went skiing with my family and it was just the perfect place

We stayed in this beautiful and extraordinary wellness hotel for 5 days. We had a relaxing, great time. Our room was clean and spacious. The food was very good and varied

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there was something for everyone, it was always refilled, the nice lady who kept coming to the tables in the morning was courteous and asked if we would like more coffee or if something was missing

A large flat screen TV as well as a coffee machine and mini fridge are standard, as well as a safe in the closet. We particularly liked the new bathroom

The beds were again good, but the room makes a somewhat run-down impression. Coffee and tea facilities, but unlike otherwise, no cups and tea bags

We come here regularly for a midweek, both in summer and winter, actually all year round. Always in a hotel room with an associated breakfast. If you are a bit careful, you can stay here for very reasonable prices

Really ridiculous that you dare to ask a more or less regular guest! We have visited several other Centerparcs, certainly in Germany, where we cannot escape the impression that things are going a bit less here

Now spent a midweek here again for the sixth time, but unfortunately the accommodation was now a lot less situated. Stayed in room 890 of the hotel which was level with the inner garden, say at the back

Previous times there was always a coupon with which you could bowl for free or perform another activity. You can of course indicate a preferred location when booking, but that will cost you 30 euros

Very nice rooms with wireless chargers and different lighting options, smart TV, pretty view, quiet town. Small glasses in room and breakfast, and the sink in my bathroom was not rectangular as shown in photos.

The food is fantastic and the rooms are nice nd comfy.

We were guests with cycling friends for a long weekend and were accommodated in the outbuilding! Rooms are clean and nicely decorated! The operators and team very friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet is great and the food from the kitchen is highly recommended! The cold drinks and the service that went with them was excellent! Thank you for this nice stay!

The beautiful hotel is in a quiet location, the entrance area/reception is lovingly designed. We stayed in the adjacent building for 2 nights. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean

Great comfort, nice facilities and very close to the city center. Only a 5 min drive to the nearest skilift. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The Big Egg building is iconic, the views from the rooms are great, the huge jacuzzi is fantastic after skiing or hiking, and the indoor pool has a diving board and a slide

We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park

The cleanliness was good and the staff was very friendly. However, the rooms are very clairaudient. Next door with the people in room no. 216 felt like a hostel for party people, very noisy

Accommodation is in a quiet side street, but still only a few steps away from the “town center”. Top breakfast buffet, enough tea or coffee, wide variety, nothing was missing. Room was "small" but cozy and very clean

The breakfast tasted delicious and the distance to the surprisingly great ski carousel Winterberg is not far either. A special praise goes to the boss, warm, friendly, helpful, even cleaning glasses was included

This was a slight inconvenience but Mrs. Diemel was able to provide us with a TP Link Device later in our stay. Breakfast was Delicious and plentiful in their lovely main building. Beautiful sauna and swimming facility

We had full access to the Sauna (even after we checked out, we were able to come back to use the shower after skiing before driving to the airport). Pleasant stay and the check in process was easy and efficient

Luckily the hotel already had a table reserved in the restaurant! The food was good and the place has a old German appearance with cozy booths. Enough space to store your clothes and other stuff

We visit Central hotel every time we go to Winterberg Last year we even stayed there. The food is quite good for the money you pay. This year we went there again and had lunch which again met our expectations

Lot of room and quick self service. The price of the food was a little bit above the worth. The food was still decent, but not excellent. Would still recommend it if you need some food if you're in a hurry

Great idea, so you don't need to carry a lot of cash with you. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They gave us the lay of the land with a lot of suggestions for things to do in the hotel and the surrounding areas

Typical breakfast buffet, but dinners were fantastic! 3-4 course meals that'll make your taste buds go wild. Bar menu is limited, but a very nice selection of Gin. Choose your room wisely because it does matter

I had sauna room all to myself and took a cold dip in this beautiful small pond-like pool. I don’t speak a word of German but the staff seemed really nice. Everything was clean and modern and quiet, would go again

Beautiful rustic rooms made to match the local scenery. Owners are very involved in greeting guests and explaining the town and local sights. I am looking forward to my next visit!
