I would love to give 5 stars but it’s the little details missed that really leave me unable to do so. I have never encountered a 4 star hotel which doesn’t contain a single iron to freshen up your clothes. No laundry services available on site unless you want to practically double the price of your stay for laundry service. But on to the good. Very good food. Reception was very nice. Friendly staff. 1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8.40 p.m. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being. All in all a good hotel. thanks

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig. Who does not hike a recommendation!

Nice hotel price / quality, friendly stuff and nice breakfast and spa. Only negative point, no chargers for e-cars and boiler in the room.

Overall good, but with some quirks like a radiator in the bathroom that can’t be switched off in summer (ok, it’s September, but still above 20 degrees) and a really mysterious note in a cupboard drawer (see pic). But the breakfast! Oh, my, absolutely lovely!

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights. We liked the breakfast and the dinner, the peaceful surroundings, the small nice park, the childrens playground and the very friendly staff. We didn't like the nearly unusable WiFi in our room. Only in the reception it could be used for light surfing, and things were not good with 4G either due to its remote location. In addition, we didn't find even a water boiler...

Very good Hotel. I advise everyone to have a good vacation. It has a beautiful park behind the hotel for both children and adults to be able to walk or even to do sports. A good pool as well as a sauna. Both for good relaxation. The employees and the manager are always available to help customers and always well smiling. I loved it.

As you can see in the pictures, an extraordinary ambience. There's so much to see there. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The breakfast is great, something for everyone. You could choose from three menus for dinner. Super tasty. The spa area was great, not so sterile, very nice to relax.

The design, as shown on the homepage, is unique and extraordinary. The atmosphere and furnishings leave hardly any wishes unfulfilled and if they do, the service is happy to fulfill them. We went there for bowling and it was quite a unique experience. The bowling place had one lane with the lane and bowling balls being different and the controls were confusing to say the least. The staff was friendly but hard to find. Personally wouldn't recommend but it was alright.

Girlfriends wellness vacation 3 nights Was with my girlfriend on March 11, 2024 for 3 nights in the beautiful small family hotel. We had the Mexico themed room, it was very nicely decorated with a small tea corner and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there was something for everyone, it was always refilled, the nice lady who kept coming to the tables in the morning was courteous...

The park is huge and nicely arranged. The houses are well maintained, nicely furnished, good equipped and very clean. The facilities in the park are great for children and the ski slopes are just a 20 mins car drive away.

Really nice hotel with great rooms, services (people and equipment) and food. Location is practical, in the village, a little away from the ski slopes (but a free shuttle service is provided or access by car is very fast).

Very beautiful hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms. My kids were very pleased by the little details reserved for them such as kids slippers and kids personal care kit with special shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and a wet cleaning paper just for them. The service was excellent and the location is great. We went to the spa and it was clean and curated. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great place to stay for skiing in the Sauerland. The Big Egg building is iconic, the views from the rooms are great, the huge jacuzzi is fantastic after skiing or hiking, and the indoor pool has a diving board and a slide. There is an outdoor pool also but it was winter when I was there. The breakfast buffet is great. Bar was nice and had good wine. Good restaurant options within walking distance...

Great hotel just at the end of downtown Winterberg. Beautiful views of the area. The spa area is huge and very nice. I did not care for the strange ergonomic pillows but that's just a personal preference. We got stuck for a short time in the elevator so be aware. The breakfast buffet is really nice.

I was there for a one-day yoga workshop from the online yoga course. The resort is impressive! The food was excellent. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would also like to check out the rooms and other amenities.

We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. Very clean. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park. The hotel is having a SPA with an indoor pool. We will go again .

We came here for our first experience with Winterberg. A spacious apartment with kitchen and bathroom in a separate room. But really guys, the bedroom, had no curtain or window cover of any kind. We went back to the reception and they offered us a pair a bed sheets and a do it yourself. 3 days passed and no one came to offer a better solution and score some extra points. The bed covers where too...

We stayed in the apartments that are 300m from the hotel building and we absolutely loved our stay. It wasn't a busy period so parking was available at all times, it was clean and spacious, quiet and relaxing - all we wanted. The pillows do need an urgent update so I recommend getting a pillow from home if that's something that's a deal breaker for you. The rest was great.

An amazing experience that we will not soon forget! The hotel's location is perfect for a nice walk to attractions in Winterberg (Shopping area, Ski Lifts, Rodelbahn, Hiking Trails, etc.), and a short drive to surrounding towns with other attractions (swimming, mini-golf, boating, etc.). The sauna and wellness area is very relaxing. Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature...

The staff is very kind and the rooms are very clean and and with 8 beds you can accommodate many people. The one bad thing is the wifi as there is a poor signal throughout the entire hotel. Edit: I should've complained about the wifi so that was on me and it wasn't really bad outside of the room.

Location top, dinners great. Kids friendly, however the kids club they could improve a bit, very small and outdated in my view. Kids buffet can be improved, it was everyday chicken and friet, could add some pasta and beef, carrots, etc. Please be aware that it is a Dutch place.:) Rooms a bit small. Overall, can recommend to everyone, especially with kids and who ski.

Went during winter. Nice hotel, breakfast and diner were also good. Sauna is very beautiful and nice. We booked a 2 person room and also used the ski/snowboarddepot that was included. However, when you have a snowboard and skis, 1 pair of shoes will NOT fit in the locker. The depot is really small when you have a 2 person room. We addressed this to the reception and were allowed to bring the boots...

Location of the Hotel is great, right next to ski lifts. Breakfast and dinner were also great, very well organized. In the morning we would chose our dinner menu. Kids are getting crayons and coloring papers before dinner. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

This hotel offers such a high level of quality and service. Staff are so kind, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant two evenings and enjoyed fine dining on both. Swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi are so heavenly to relax after a ski-day. Fireplace is awesome with real wood. We stayed for 2 nights. Very nicely decorated hotel, cozy atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming. The hotel is dog-friendly. Only downside is a fairly mediocre dinner for a high price. And breakfast is 28 euros per person - breakfast was fine but not worth 28 euros pp. The pool and indoor sauna are very clean. The outdoor sauna was out of order when we visited. Since the Hotel Rimberg has its own chapel and we don't want to have to travel far on this special day, we first asked about a nice daily schedule. We have already been given some good suggestions. We are visiting from another country and got to the hotel past early morning. We were in need to find a room and Krebs was absolutely amazing. He helped us with every single thing and did not leave our side until we were all set up. He went back and forth to help us and also spoke excellent English which helped since we do not speak Dutch. Great hotel, with a very good breakfast and a nice restaurant, a spa and many options for sauna and hot pools. The only problem is regarding the shower, water pressure might swing rapidly turning the water temperature either super hot or super cold, i almost fell in the shower due to the water becoming burning hot.

We love this hotel. It’s the only place we will stay when we visit Bad Arolsen. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating, and the breakfast has lots of options. We really like the pool now that the renovations are complete - even though it was too cold to use the pool this time.

Here in the picture you can see a sirloin plate. First there was a greeting from the kitchen. Everything was very tasty and the meat was cooked to the smallest detail. The service staff is very attentive and the beer glass does not remain empty for a long time. If you want to eat here, you should definitely reserve a table in advance! Definitely worth a visit!

I had a wonderful stay in Fritzlar, Germany. This hotel is a complete package: style, efficient service, comfortable rooms, multilingual front desk service, and the ability to handle big groups. For the high quality of service, I recommend this beautiful hotel.

The hotel and breakfast buffet are high-class old-school. The room itself does not hold up to the high standards: an old bathroom with a bathtub shower (defect and dirty at first). There are extra rooms for pets for €20 per night, but don't expect a bowl or a bed for your dog.

Friendly people, from reception, wellness and restaurant!

An excellent, classic Spa hotel, with perfect breakfast and very good service.

All in all, it was good. The comfort room was big enough, as was the bathroom. However, the room was not cleaned, only the bed was made. The buffet area in the breakfast room is far too small. Otherwise, everything was there and it was constantly being refilled.

The hotel is located quite centrally opposite a rehabilitation clinic. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, and the hotel is nice overall. The service is very good in advance. For example, a parking space was reserved that was well suited to wider vehicles.
