Few weeks ago we are staying at Sauerland Stern Hotel. We want to describe our experience just with one word : Fantastic ! We found this hotel just by random searching through the google map. We were looking for a hotel close to the ski piste. Sauerland Stern Hotel was at walking distance. During our stay there was a child playground, they called it : Kinder-Eldorado. This was perfect indoor playground...

although it is a big hotel, you feel very welcome, and it is a very nice location close to ski piste, and the hotel has nice accomodation like swimming pool, spa and kids room. Food is perfect!!

Old fashion furniture in the rooms , and could here every movement and noise in the rooms next to me. Location and views are amazzing

Arrived without a booking and was able to get a family room. First room they gave us was not made up. Second room they gave us was dirty gooey stuff on wardrobe, splashes up the walls and around the light switch .No coffee or tea. Housekeeping came and said, they had lots of parties. He said he would report it. Cleaned the marks stocked the coffee and left. For the price of the hotel, this is not...

I had the pleasure of staying at the **Sauerland Stern Hotel** during the **BGHW Sifa Fortbildung**, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel offers a rich buffet that caters to everyone's preferences, including vegan and vegetarian options. The spacious and beautifully designed rooms provided a comfortable stay. The attentive staff and the variety of amenities made my visit truly enjoyable....

Spiritual experience. Stayed three nights. As I said before, staff could be more affable. Food was nice though and beds were fine. Bedrooms were clean and spacious. Their price could also have been cheaper

The hotel is very beautiful and clean the serves is very nice they clean your room everyday. There also is a pool, sauna and a gym. So you don’t have to get bored.

This was an extremely amazing Stay ! Everything was fantastic, wished I'd had more days to stay.💗

Overall the hotel is good, with good facilitées. The issue is with the staff with an employee being rude, unpolite, showing agressivity and not respecting privacy. I felt in danger ! I had to raise the case to my lawyer.

We stayed for three nights! We had a great room, we enjoyed the breakfast and the location of the hotel was perfect. We also had dinner one night. The portions are big, but in my opinion the food here was not really special. Price/quality was fine. However the staff was really nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Modern well equipped rooms in the center of town

Sehr nette Besitzer und zuvorkommende Angestellte. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim Frühstück ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir konnten auch später anreisen, als wie üblich, und es wurde uns auch noch spontan ein Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Pool und Sauna waren ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir werden definitiv wieder buchen.

We had a wonderful stay! Everybody was so friendly and kind. Fabulous Germany hospitality. Reception took perfect care of us at check in and helped us with anything we asked or needed, nothing was too much for them. My dietary needs were perfectly taken care of by the chef. A lovely hotel, with wonderful breakfast and excellent pool and spa, right in the middle of town. It suffers a little from old fashioned decor but you can just choose to see that as charming.

we chose the newer 2-room apartment in the photo, we were assigned an old but well-maintained one.Good location .The service and reception were nice. Alot of old people stayed in the hotel, which bothered us a bit. The bar was very small. The breakfast was good, average. We spent a long time choosing a hotel in Willingen, but this one disappointed us a little.

We selected the hotel because of location and our pleasant stay 2 years ago. The hotel has spacious parking. Our room had a spacious terrace with furniture, nice seating area and well equipped, practical bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely excellent and staff is efficient and friendly. We will be back.

Wir als Biker fanden es super, dass das Hotel direkt an der Bikestrecke gelegen ist. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Frühstück war ok, gute Küche auch für abends.

Just came here to have some lunch with my family, had soup and dessert and it was absolutely delicious! The presentation of the food was very pretty and the taste was very good. The waffles are also recommended!

Just 10 minutes outside of a ski area (Neuastenberg) - family friendly, super service and fabulous staff! Pool and sauna were lovely as was the breakfast buffet.

Food is simply awesome. We are the vegetarian guest and chef took extra care for us to cook specially for us. Buffet here was good and the Menu was awesome. staff is extremely friendly in the Restaurant especially with kids. Very proffessional and elegant. After Radisson, this is our next best hotel.

Small rooms and bathroom, but verry good wellness and friendly staff. Staid here for 5 nights and the buffets were excellent every day.

Very good food. Reception was very nice. Friendly staff. 1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8.40 p.m. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being. All in all a good hotel. thanks

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig. Who does not hike a recommendation!

Authentic bierstube, food is tasteful and large portions. Service was very friendly. Nice selection of beers on tap and prices are very reasonable. We had a schnitzel topped with berries and cheese and a vegetarian dish, fried avocado with vegetables. The quinoa bowl. As a starter we had a salad and a mixed bruschetta.

Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. very outdated hotel, with very small bathroom. we were just the two of us. so in the bathroom also 2 sachets of shampoo. if you wanted more, you could buy sachets of shampoo at the counter. Bar only accepts cash, dinner could be in the room but was not very special, only buffet option which was not much. breakfast was not extensive but sufficient. you also had to pay for an extra towel, as well as...

I am a difficult guest, I dont eat meat for example; but they did everything they could to prepare some dishes! Settings are nice, the rooms are splendid and well talen care off, and the staff is super friendly and helpful!

We had a very nice stay at the Park Hotel in Olslsberg. If you like to watch tv you need to Bring your own Google Chromecast then It is like a Five Star Hotel.

It's a great place to stay for a motorcycle vacation to the Sauerland. The owner is very kind and helpful.

A location worthy of Germany with nice staff and a restaurant ready for instagram photos. The town is like as to welcome tourists. If you stay at this hotel, don't worry about parking because the hotel has numerous spots including parking for charging electric cars.

For a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room with adjoining balcony whereby cigarette smoke entered...

Very good hotel, extremely friendly staff and also a delicious and rich breakfast in the morning. Bowling alley and the small pub are also very good for spending the evening. WLAN connection should have been more stable (maybe a password could help for hotel guests) and the shower was unfortunately a bit too narrow. But still a clear recommendation and worth every penny.

Very nice staff, delicious breakfast and everything was neat and clean. The beautiful pool provided a lot of fun for both of our teenagers. The sauna was also great, after a few hours of mountain biking in this beautiful area. The room was spacious and fully equipped. In one word: this is a must!

This is a true family hotel and apparently dating back to medieval times. The hotel is a maze of corridors and connected buildings. We stayed for 1 night in a very sizable room (w/o kitchen that comes at an additional 12.5 E) . The room has a nice bathroom, a balcony , a couch and yes a TV set. The hotel is very nice and quiet, has both a pool and a sauna for the adults and a games room, a rabbit hutch and lots of play options around the hotel for the children. The staff and owners are nice and accommodating. There is a place for e-bikes inside and there is a lot to experience nearby. Hikes, bike tours, the Skywalk Willingen and the summer toboggan run are just some of the possibilities....

Nice hotel with nice staff 😊 but it's also getting a little old, a few things in the room/bathroom need to be replaced. Water in the swimming pool and whirlpool was rather cold.

As part of Schlagerstern Willingen we had a twin room with breakfast for 108 € per night. The price is really justified. The whole city is fully booked due to the festival and yet you feel really at home in the hotel because it is located in a side street and thus you are somewhat isolated from the noise on the main street. - Breakfast was very rich and everything was fresh and delicious - Room Clean...

The rooms in Hotel Hochheide have a Nice view, plus the center of the city is nearby. Also the public transport is very accesible. The swimming pool is at walking distance. Overall its a Nice hotel.
