I had the pleasure of staying at the **Sauerland Stern Hotel** during the **BGHW Sifa Fortbildung**, and it was a delightful experience. I had the pleasure of enjoying a week-long vacation in October, and I must say that the service was exceptional. The rooms were not only beautiful but also impeccably clean. A special thank you goes to Bania for her invaluable help and kindness during my stay!

Great location, close to ski parks. Ample public parking available. Slightly overpriced.

Good size room. Helpful staff. I like the bathroom which has a separate toilet. Only wished they served Asian food as options. Their German food was bland and salty.

I would love to give 5 stars but it’s the little details missed that really leave me unable to do so. I have never encountered a 4 star hotel which doesn’t contain a single iron to freshen up your clothes. No laundry services available on site unless you want to practically double the price of your stay for laundry service. But on to the good. The restaurant and service there was prompt and professional. The facilities are maintained although it seems a bit dated overall. Not a problem for me but I’m confused by the self proclaimed 4 star status. Absolutely loved the view from the balcony. Grateful for the elevators but I’m not sure why they are so remarkably slow. A little patience will suffice. Had a good cappuccino. Public bathrooms were tidy and plenty. Conference room was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful walking trails nearby. Many outdoor activities available. Beautiful pool. Just the little things as noted before. But I’m not German and this is my only hotel visit in Germany. So I can only rate my experience based on travels to other European countries. Thank you for another great visit Sauerland.

Everything was sorted and they understood my family situation. We did not get the chance to go when planned, but we will definitely consider it for the future.

Rooms were clean, but the couches are really uncomfortable.

Massive hotel that is within walking distance to the ski hill. Can also easily walk into town. Room was clean, very warm and a comfy bed. Had a lovely balcony with excellent view on the backside. Buffet had a wide selection of options, even for a vegan....including soy milk for cereal. Only deducted for how busy this hotel was and the lack of sound insulation.

Nothing to complain about everything was perfect. Nice hotel rooms very big and nice bathroom. There is a swimming pool, sauna, fitness, disco,... . Super friendly staff especially Damir. We will definitely come back here.

Lovely sauna, great location, and helpful staff. Food was okay, and I wish they had a hot tub, but overall satisfied!
