Goed ontbijt. Buffet avond wat minder, gewoon simpel. Kamer helemaal prima. Wat oubollig ( Duits) maar ruim schoon en compleet. Badkamer met tissues en föhn, goeie douche, heel fijn. Wel wat gehorig. The hotel is very rural and is very attractive for walkers. Excellent care, somewhat dated decor, but friendly staff.

In the meantime we have been to the Landgasthof Wüllner for the third time. As always, everything was to our greatest satisfaction! Particularly to be highlighted was the food (buffet) in the evening. Everything freshly prepared and with that special something! Here again a big compliment to the kitchen and to the always friendly and attentive service. We would of course like to come back next year

I was there 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend and his family and it was a beautiful experience! They have an amazing kitchen, they offer regional and seasonal meals, they also have vegetarian and vegan dishes. We had views to the mountains for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’s also really nice places to go for long and short hikes. It was magic 😍 Martina was sooo kind and the service there is amazing...

Great place to stay if you prefer a more quiet location close to e.g. Winterberg center, and friendly (+flexible and helpful) personnel. They provide a wonderful & complete breakfast buffet, various well priced cooled drinks, and our room was extremely comfortable and clean. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

My wife and I stayed in Winterberg for a weekend and we really enjoyed it. The persion is in a very central location just a few minutes from the market. The rooms were simple and small, but adequate and very clean. At breakfast there were tips for leisure activities from the lady of the house, otherwise she could tell one or the other story about the area. Definitely highly recommended.

Nice location, ski bus at 200m and close to the restaurants. In addition, nice rooms and a friendly hostess. Breakfast was also good. We were a group of 10 people and downstairs there is a room where we could all play a game and have a beer, which was a big plus!

Delicious food, dog could just join on the terrace, got some water without asking and the owner is very friendly. Schnitzel was really really good, with melted cheese and ham on the side. Also salad and fries. Quiet location, virtually no cars and a nice terrace with a view. Highly recommended.

Friendly young Dutch couple who recently took over the B&B. Room was neat and clean, b&b is quietly located and in a beautiful area.

Price / performance ratio was completely ok. Everything was clean too. Unfortunately there was no TV in the room.

The rooms were clean, since they are different in size, everyone has to see what space they need. The breakfast is plentiful and the food in the restaurant is delicious and prepared with great pleasure. The staff super friendly. Dogs are allowed and very welcome! We would definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Nice, authentic and cosy place to stay. Not to expensive, a 10min drive to the ski area of Winterberg. In a small, silent, sleepy, typical German village. Friendly staff, understanding English. The stone-grill is a must!

Originally we had a trip planned to their neighbours. But because they were closed we ended up here. And no regrets. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The schnitzel was bigger then average and was just good. The desert was also delicious. And the view ..... We had 2 schnitzels, 4 beer and 2 deserts and the financial damage was €44,00 . So very affordable!

The cozy atmosphere and familiar staff in relatively good value accommodation makes Gasthof Braun "Am Hohen Knochen" a great place to stay in the Sauerland in Germany.

I went with my friend Camila for the weekend and we cannot thank enough John and Helene for their hospitality . They did the best they could to help us , specially since we were scared to drive in the road that was slippery because of the snow . Room was clean and had all the basics . Breakfast was great ! We came to Westfeld for a short stay, though John and Hélène made it feel like an entire holiday. We were welcomed, shown around the Gasthof and then brought to our room. We were very lucky with our room as we had a direct view of the forest. Everything was nice and clean and the breakfast was delicious. You can easily reach Willingen via a hiking trail right next to the hotel. Very cozy breakfast room and nice staff 😊

This hotel has got lovely steaks and very good service. make sure to book a table - since it's always busy. You have live piano played by the owner/manager. I would highly recommend this place for a good dinner and stay.

Friendly Welcome. Room was ready although they have an unusual check out time of 14:00. Clean sunny room. TV , balcony but no fridge or safe, but large wardrobe. Shower/ WC. Beds comfortable. In the desk was a sealed package, price tag 30 Euros. Initially thought it would be chocolates, but no it said on the back this included batteries and 3 condoms. So fun , not edible ! Breakfast was a high standard...

A superbly run guesthouse with very friendly and attentive owners. Rooms very clean and adequate. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and every day an egg cooked to the point. A big thank you for that, we felt very comfortable.

The small but fine pension is run by a very nice and courteous couple. The rooms were super clean and modern equipped. We felt very comfortable! You can look forward to breakfast, there is something for everyone. The Bad & Breakfast is in a central location where there are good shopping opportunities. We'd love to come back.

Great location and the cleanest rooms in a B&B that I know + freshly modernized bathroom. You could tell the hostess every moment that she does her job with passion. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the corona protective measures were implemented and adhered to. Thanks for the nice stay!

If there is 6* rating, I’d go for it. A very nice family hotel with friendly staff. Cosy clean rooms. Sauna/swimmimg pool available. Very delicious breakfasts and dinners. Plenty of hiking routes starting just behind the hotel. I can only recommend this place!

We are totally in love with this hotel. It is super clean and cosy, the owner is friendly and he gave us a lot of advices. Our two kids loved playing in the swimming pool. Definitely a recommended accommodation.

Very homey feel to this cute hotel. Hotel owners were very welcoming and the accomodations were plenty. There is a sauna and swimming pool open to guests during the day and early evening. Everything was very clean upon inspection! Breakfast was also very tasty and tea and coffee are brought to your table with love (by the most sweet granny!). If you want they will reserve a table for you in the evening...

Ik en mijn vader hebben hier na een stressvolle dag heerlijk kunnen relaxen. Ook zorgde de eigenaar van het hotel heel goed voor ons en heeft ons zelfs nog afgezet bij het treinstation.

Delicous dinner and great breakfast with some Dutch products for a good price. The rooms are furnished in a simple but nice way. The bathroom could use an overhaul, but everything was functioning. All our questions/requests were answered and taken care of in a friendly and timely manner. About 10 minutes driving from the ski tracks in winterberg.

Nice and beautiful place and clean

A nice cosy place with beautiful views and close to town and the slopes. Unfortunately no microwave or coffee (perculator only) and apartment smelling of sigaret smoke was a turn-off. We'll stay elsewhere next time.

Nice little apart hotel right at the ski resort/bike park Winterberg. Very friendly staff/owner, great selection of breakfast buffet and cosy little rooms. Service is solid, rooms are clean and modern, a place to securely store bikes or skiing equipment is available. Parking right at the spot. Close to the city too. Full recommendation.
