The location is very nice for parties, family celebrations or workations. Jost and Kathrin run the house with a lot of love. The mix of "old style" and modern country house style is really nice.

Nice big family home away from home. Big rooms with en suite bathrooms, large living room and sauna facilities. Kitchen is workable but a bit narrow. Two minutes walking from the snowfields, 10 minutes from the ski slope. Ski rental at the beginning and end of the street. Private parking. Highly recommended!

The house has about 10 rooms and could house about 20-25 persons. Additional Two rooms were still remodeling. Has a small kitchen with dishwasher microwave stoove oven and fridge. Also a infrared and dry sauna with additional shower. There is parking space for 8 cars. And a small garden with a barbeque (not cleaned...) big living room with dinner table and smal room with an old piano. Some old boardgames...

Great place to stay if you prefer a more quiet location close to e.g. Winterberg center, and friendly (+flexible and helpful) personnel. They provide a wonderful & complete breakfast buffet, various well priced cooled drinks, and our room was extremely comfortable and clean. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I was there 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend and his family and it was a beautiful experience! They have an amazing kitchen, they offer regional and seasonal meals, they also have vegetarian and vegan dishes. We had views to the mountains for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’s also really nice places to go for long and short hikes. It was magic 😍 Martina was sooo kind and the service there is amazing...

My wife and I stayed in Winterberg for a weekend and we really enjoyed it. The persion is in a very central location just a few minutes from the market. The rooms were simple and small, but adequate and very clean. At breakfast there were tips for leisure activities from the lady of the house, otherwise she could tell one or the other story about the area. Definitely highly recommended.

Nice location, ski bus at 200m and close to the restaurants. In addition, nice rooms and a friendly hostess. Breakfast was also good. We were a group of 10 people and downstairs there is a room where we could all play a game and have a beer, which was a big plus!

The two of us had a very nice time in Haus Hubertus. Room 3 was very nice, lots of light, access to the terrace and a modern bathroom. The host family gave us lots of tips for staying in the region and prepared a very loving breakfast every day. The town of Siebach is a good starting point for excursions. With the Sauerlandcard you can use public transport for free and come to Winterberg every hour...

Das Zimmer und das ganze Haus war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und Sonntag gab es auch noch ein leckeres Extra. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage war zum Wandern wunderbar, wir haben kein Auto gebraucht.

Schoon pension, sfeervol ingericht, goede bedden en fijne douche. Er is een ruimte voor opslag ski's en koffers (op laatste dag). De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en attent. Op mijn verjaardag was onze ontbijttafel versiert incl. een mooie kaart en een klein flesje wijn. Er is dagelijks een 3 gangen menu te nuttigen in het pension voor een kleine prijs. In het pension is een ruimte met barretje...

Very nice guest house with super friendly owners. Room is spacious and very clean. The breakfast is very extensive. The evening meal is also very nice. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely come back here! We highly recommend this guest house.

Had a great holiday and very good food and super animation in the evening Hahaha really nice there are very nice walking tours in the area we were really spoiled with the walking club, recommend this place to everyone Margriet and Peter are 100 percent ready to spoil everyone for me part a 10 out of 10

Small, partly outdated hotel, in which I feel very comfortable. Sure, wood creaks and groans... And the food in the restaurant is great, the tenant has a bank with her partner in the kitchen! It's "buzzing" in the restaurant and if you didn't have to deal with the staff problems (like almost everywhere) you probably could do a lot more. And the seasonal business is yet to come..... One can only wish...

Delicious schnitzel and friendly staff!

This is a new cosy hotel opposite of the skiing area in Altastenberg, no need to drive before going to ski. Just cross the street and put on your skies. In summer you can stay in this hotel and explore the area. Our room was divided in sleeping and a sitting part. If desired you will have your own kitchen function too. The dinner was nice and there was even fresh dear and duck. Price was good for this...
