This hotel offers such a high level of quality and service. Staff are so kind, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant two evenings and enjoyed fine dining on both. Swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi are so heavenly to relax after a ski-day. Fireplace is awesome with real wood. We will definitely come back.

We stayed for 2 nights. Very nicely decorated hotel, cozy atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming. The hotel is dog-friendly. Only downside is a fairly mediocre dinner for a high price. And breakfast is 28 euros per person - breakfast was fine but not worth 28 euros pp. The pool and indoor sauna are very clean. The outdoor sauna was out of order when we visited. The view from the room was outstanding

I cannot comment on the hotel. We stayed for diner. Nice diverse menu with plenty vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended!

This is a 4 star hotel with amazing view in the mountains. We were there for six nights, but we didn't have time to try everything.

Really nice hotel with great rooms, services (people and equipment) and food. Location is practical, in the village, a little away from the ski slopes (but a free shuttle service is provided or access by car is very fast).

Very beautiful hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms. My kids were very pleased by the little details reserved for them such as kids slippers and kids personal care kit with special shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and a wet cleaning paper just for them. The service was excellent and the location is great. We went to the spa and it was clean and curated. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great place to stay for skiing in the Sauerland. The Big Egg building is iconic, the views from the rooms are great, the huge jacuzzi is fantastic after skiing or hiking, and the indoor pool has a diving board and a slide. There is an outdoor pool also but it was winter when I was there. The breakfast buffet is great. Bar was nice and had good wine. Good restaurant options within walking distance...

Great hotel just at the end of downtown Winterberg. Beautiful views of the area. The spa area is huge and very nice. I did not care for the strange ergonomic pillows but that's just a personal preference. We got stuck for a short time in the elevator so be aware. The breakfast buffet is really nice.

I was there for a one-day yoga workshop from the online yoga course. The resort is impressive! The food was excellent. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would also like to check out the rooms and other amenities.

The rooms are nice and clean but the mattresses were far too soft. We didn't sleep well at all. Friendly lady at the breakfast buffet. The lady of the house is quite brisk and not very helpful. The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner. The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We were there in mid-December and we really enjoyed it. As soon as we arrived in front of the house, we were totally amazed by the whole ambience, how lovingly it was decorated, how beautiful everything was, really a dream. The beautiful hotel is in a quiet location, the entrance area/reception is lovingly designed. We stayed in the adjacent building for 2 nights. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. We were very enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet, it had everything we needed to start the day comfortably. The staff was very friendly. I can recommend the hotel and say thank you for the beautiful days.

Have been a guest at this hotel several times. Breakfast very rich. Rooms are not the most modern but satisfactory for a long weekend. The cleaning of the rooms needs improvement. Otherwise we are satisfied and took advantage of the HP offer for the first time. Highly recommended! Quietly located. The disadvantage is far from the beaten track, but there are taxis for the way back. ;))

Quiet hotel a stone's throw from the greenery, you can start going on some picnics right from the hotel. Otherwise Willingen is a couple of minutes away by car. Good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms

A bit remote from the bars in Willingen. We called a taxi because we were simply too comfortable to walk. But it is quiet at night, there is a pool and sauna. Rooms are clean, safe, TV and balcony available. Breakfast delicious.

Great hotel. It is about 2.4 km from town (10 euros) by taxi or on foot. We have never had such a quiet hotel, although there were also groups there. The rooms were very clean with a balcony (privacy is absolutely given with a view of nature) The breakfast was very rich and tasty. An amazing experience that we will not soon forget! The hotel's location is perfect for a nice walk to attractions in Winterberg (Shopping area, Ski Lifts, Rodelbahn, Hiking Trails, etc.), and a short drive to surrounding towns with other attractions (swimming, mini-golf, boating, etc.). The sauna and wellness area is very relaxing. Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature...

The staff is very kind and the rooms are very clean and and with 8 beds you can accommodate many people. The one bad thing is the wifi as there is a poor signal throughout the entire hotel. Edit: I should've complained about the wifi so that was on me and it wasn't really bad outside of the room.

Location top, dinners great. Kids friendly, however the kids club they could improve a bit, very small and outdated in my view. Kids buffet can be improved, it was everyday chicken and friet, could add some pasta and beef, carrots, etc. Please be aware that it is a Dutch place.:) Rooms a bit small. Overall, can recommend to everyone, especially with kids and who ski.

Went during winter. Nice hotel, breakfast and diner were also good. Sauna is very beautiful and nice. We booked a 2 person room and also used the ski/snowboarddepot that was included. However, when you have a snowboard and skis, 1 pair of shoes will NOT fit in the locker. The depot is really small when you have a 2 person room. We addressed this to the reception and were allowed to bring the boots...

Location of the Hotel is great, right next to ski lifts. Breakfast and dinner were also great, very well organized. In the morning we would chose our dinner menu. Kids are getting crayons and coloring papers before dinner. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

Winterberg is à place where u can have fun! There are so many things to do that it is à perfect place for everyone. Winterberg is known for some good mountenbike trails, also those are fun ! All litlle and big ways True thé Woods are Very maintained. I stayed at winterberg resort(***+*), this hôtel was also very good and very close to everything ! First downhill trail was 100 meters away!

The room was ok, we stayed there in summer, it was quite hot and the window could only tilt slightly, it could not properly open. No Airco to compensate. Apart from this, the hotel is very nice, good Wi-Fi all over, really friendly staff and the food is exceptional!

Good room with enough facilities, but the cleaning service is not good as 4 stars hotel. Also the pool area is not so clean and the pool has not really good filters as well. The breakfast is good and serves in a cozy place.

We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. Very clean. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park. The hotel is having a SPA with an indoor pool. We will go again .

We came here for our first experience with Winterberg. A spacious apartment with kitchen and bathroom in a separate room. But really guys, the bedroom, had no curtain or window cover of any kind. We went back to the reception and they offered us a pair a bed sheets and a do it yourself. 3 days passed and no one came to offer a better solution and score some extra points. The bed covers where too...

We stayed in the apartments that are 300m from the hotel building and we absolutely loved our stay. It wasn't a busy period so parking was available at all times, it was clean and spacious, quiet and relaxing - all we wanted. The pillows do need an urgent update so I recommend getting a pillow from home if that's something that's a deal breaker for you. The rest was great.

As you can see in the pictures, an extraordinary ambience. There's so much to see there. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The breakfast is great, something for everyone. You could choose from three menus for dinner. Super tasty. The spa area was great, not so sterile, very nice to relax.

We went there for bowling and it was quite a unique experience. The bowling place had one lane with the lane and bowling balls being different and the controls were confusing to say the least. The staff was friendly but hard to find. Personally wouldn't recommend but it was alright.

Girlfriends wellness vacation 3 nights Was with my girlfriend on March 11, 2024 for 3 nights in the beautiful small family hotel. We had the Mexico themed room, it was very nicely decorated with a small tea corner and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there was something for everyone, it was always refilled, the nice lady who kept coming to the tables in the morning was courteous...

In the meantime we have been to the Landgasthof Wüllner for the third time. As always, everything was to our greatest satisfaction! Particularly to be highlighted was the food (buffet) in the evening. Everything freshly prepared and with that special something! Here again a big compliment to the kitchen and to the always friendly and attentive service. We would of course like to come back next year

We visit Central hotel every time we go to Winterberg Last year we even stayed there. The food is quite good for the money you pay. This year we went there again and had lunch which again met our expectations.Nice and cozy environment in the heart of the center. I blindly recommend this platform a good drink and lunch. Not a pub or a place for teenagers and early Twenties audience.

The hotel has everything to be a good quality four-star hotel, but unfortunately the service of the staff spoils everything... We had booked a triple room for 2 adults and a child of 9 years old. Upon arrival, there was double bed and a baby bed in our room, a mistake of housekeeping. Of course, that can happen, but after more than 2 hours of waiting, still no solution was offered. Everything was good except the parking. Their ripoff system steals 15 euro every time you exit, even though it's supposed to be 15 per 24 hours, unless you register your car license plate in the system, then it is supposed to be 9 euro. I regstered my car but they still stole 15 euro on every exit. The reception claimed there should be SPACES in my car number plate! Whoever heard of spaces in a car...

Beautiful hotel set in the beautiful mountains. We visited with our 4 and 1 year old kids so we could not do any of the hiking around the area but we loved our stay there. Must be beautiful to stay here overnight. Its pricey but you get value for your money. They even have rooms downstairs for dog owner

The guy on the reception desk when we arrived, was excellent, a very friendly and welcoming face ***** He gave us a complete run down of the resort and made us very welcome.

Staff is friendly, especially at the bar. The rooms are adequate for what you pay. At one point there was a malfunction with our shower water, and staff was very nice about immediately helping us change rooms. The work out room is unfortunately equipped pretty bare-bones, and the spa area has been called somewhat outdated.

I had a very nice and relaxed stay at "Der Schöne Asten". The room was comfortable and clean and the service very friendly (if a little inexperienced at times). The menu has been overhauled recently and the new food and drink are excellent . Try the burgers! At peak times there could be a little wait, but nothing bad. This hotel has got lovely steaks and very good service. make sure to book a table - since it's always busy. You have live piano played by the owner/manager. I would highly recommend this place for a good dinner and stay.

Friendly Welcome. Room was ready although they have an unusual check out time of 14:00. Clean sunny room. TV , balcony but no fridge or safe, but large wardrobe. Shower/ WC. Beds comfortable. In the desk was a sealed package, price tag 30 Euros. Initially thought it would be chocolates, but no it said on the back this included batteries and 3 condoms. So fun , not edible ! The location is very nice for parties, family celebrations or workations. Jost and Kathrin run the house with a lot of love. The mix of "old style" and modern country house style is really nice.

Nice big family home away from home. Big rooms with en suite bathrooms, large living room and sauna facilities. Kitchen is workable but a bit narrow. Two minutes walking from the snowfields, 10 minutes from the ski slope. Ski rental at the beginning and end of the street. Private parking. Highly recommended!

The house has about 10 rooms and could house about 20-25 persons. Additional Two rooms were still remodeling. Has a small kitchen with dishwasher microwave stoove oven and fridge. Also a infrared and dry sauna with additional shower. There is parking space for 8 cars. And a small garden with a barbeque (not cleaned...) big living room with dinner table and smal room with an old piano. Some old boardgames...

The location is excellent (but be aware that parking space is limited), rooms are a little bit outdated, but OK. The service is really bad, especially the owners are very unfriendly when you have an extra wish (e.g., fried eggs for breakfast) or small complaints (e.g., toilet flush is not working correctly). I suggest to find another alternative if possible.

Hotel room comes with free access to the indoor swimmingpool, turkish steambath, infrared sauna and regular swedish sauna. Very relaxing. Situated right in the center of Winterberg.

The room was spacious, nice breakfast, lovely pool.

All together it wasn't very bad. However the waitress was not very pleasant and simple refused to speak English, she also had no patients what so ever and made the whole experience Al lot less pleasant. The food tasted pretty good, presentation was ok, but not as good as it used to be. The old school German taste wasn't very much there. Not the classic German vinegar salad that we used to love here...

Great place to stay in summer, when prices are literally half compared with wintertime. Great spacious room and a comfortable swimming pool.

One big problem was the lack of a dedicated ski boot room ( there was only an improvised solution). Also, the glutenfree bread in the morning was served only sparingly.

And complain about food. Or are they all first class cocks. I eat vegetarian and they do their best, if you want better then look for a 5 star hotel. At least I was brought up to be satisfied...

Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. Just spent the Easter holiday there with friends and kids a neither of us wanted to go home.

The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. Be aware that there are very few car charging stations in the area and the closest super charger...

We had an excellent stay at hotel Niedersfeld. Very friendly and accommodating staff, superclean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast, great Wi-Fi and even a spa! To some the ambiance may feel a bit outdated but we loved the atmosphere, as the place has a great 70s vibe and it's very well kept. Do check out the Kegelbahn!

Great place to stay if you prefer a more quiet location close to e.g. Winterberg center, and friendly (+flexible and helpful) personnel. They provide a wonderful & complete breakfast buffet, various well priced cooled drinks, and our room was extremely comfortable and clean. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Lovingly furnished hotel, our room was very idyllic with a fireplace, valley view, very bright and large with coffee and tea station Breakfast exceeded everything, the owners left nothing to be desired, there were even warm rolls. If you want to relax comfortably, this is definitely the right place for you. For me the hotel easily deserves 4 stars.

A beautiful and lovingly furnished hotel in a fantastic location. The view from the hotel is indescribably beautiful. The welcome from the owners is very warm and they try to make your stay unforgettable. Everything is so clean and tidy, you immediately feel at home!! Parking spaces are directly in front of the house. Bicycles can be secured and loaded. We keep coming back!!!!
