Location is quiet, which makes it very cozy. But easy to go to the center and agitation. It has ski slopes and lifts very close. Room was clean and had two beds united. Winterberg is à place where u can have fun! There are so many things to do that it is à perfect place for everyone. Winterberg is known for some good mountenbike trails, also those are fun ! All litlle and big ways True thé Woods are Very maintained. I stayed at winterberg resort(***+*), this hôtel was also very good and very close to everything ! First downhill trail was 100 meters away!

The room was ok, we stayed there in summer, it was quite hot and the window could only tilt slightly, it could not properly open. No Airco to compensate. Apart from this, the hotel is very nice, good Wi-Fi all over, really friendly staff and the food is exceptional!

Our room was quite basic, but you have everything you need. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style, so you just eat what you want and how much you want. You get plenty of choices for breakfast: breads, buns, cereal, fruits.... The bar is also nice and cozy.

The guy on the reception desk when we arrived, was excellent, a very friendly and welcoming face ***** He gave us a complete run down of the resort and made us very welcome.

Staff is friendly, especially at the bar. The rooms are adequate for what you pay. At one point there was a malfunction with our shower water, and staff was very nice about immediately helping us change rooms. The work out room is unfortunately equipped pretty bare-bones, and the spa area has been called somewhat outdated.

Solid rooms, friendly staff and good food. A strange plus are the tunnels between all buildings - don't get too drunk or you get lost :)

Great place with pool, sauna and much more. Cleaning every day. Surrounded by nature and well kept. They speak some English, but it's Germany so. Also great food, always different and with something for everyone.

I had a very nice and relaxed stay at "Der Schöne Asten". The room was comfortable and clean and the service very friendly (if a little inexperienced at times). The menu has been overhauled recently and the new food and drink are excellent . Try the burgers! At peak times there could be a little wait, but nothing bad. Thank you for some wonderful days at your hotel. The friendly and cozy vibe made our stay a nice and relaxing experience. The Staff was at all time to our servic. The hotel was clean and the wellness area with the pool and saunas was also great. The food was good, and the winery had a fine selection of wine from different areas.

The rooms are nice and clean but the mattresses were far too soft. We didn't sleep well at all. Friendly lady at the breakfast buffet. The lady of the house is quite brisk and not very helpful. The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner. We stayed in the Loft, which is about 10 minutes from the Hotel, but is an excellent flat with lots of space and nice living spaces. We had full access to the Sauna (even after we checked out, we were able to come back to use the shower after skiing before driving to the airport). Pleasant stay and the check in process was easy and efficient.

The hotel is very rural and is very attractive for walkers. Excellent care, somewhat dated decor, but friendly staff.

In the meantime we have been to the Landgasthof Wüllner for the third time. As always, everything was to our greatest satisfaction! Particularly to be highlighted was the food (buffet) in the evening. Everything freshly prepared and with that special something! Here again a big compliment to the kitchen and to the always friendly and attentive service. We would of course like to come back next year

The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

The beautiful hotel is in a quiet location, the entrance area/reception is lovingly designed. We stayed in the adjacent building for 2 nights. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. We were very enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet, it had everything we needed to start the day comfortably. The staff was very friendly. We visit Central hotel every time we go to Winterberg Last year we even stayed there. The food is quite good for the money you pay. This year we went there again and had lunch which again met our expectations.Nice and cozy environment in the heart of the center. I blindly recommend this platform a good drink and lunch. Not a pub or a place for teenagers and early Twenties audience.

Had a very nice holiday!! Staff is super helpful and friendly, atmosphere is very homely, food is really delicious and the setting is truly breathtaking!! The rooms are a bit dated and the water pressure is a bit less if there are many people showering at the same time, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I had the best holiday here! Definitely recommended!!!!

The location is excellent (but be aware that parking space is limited), rooms are a little bit outdated, but OK. The service is really bad, especially the owners are very unfriendly when you have an extra wish (e.g., fried eggs for breakfast) or small complaints (e.g., toilet flush is not working correctly). I suggest to find another alternative if possible.

Hotel room comes with free access to the indoor swimmingpool, turkish steambath, infrared sauna and regular swedish sauna. Very relaxing. Situated right in the center of Winterberg.

All together it wasn't very bad. However the waitress was not very pleasant and simple refused to speak English, she also had no patients what so ever and made the whole experience Al lot less pleasant. The food tasted pretty good, presentation was ok, but not as good as it used to be. The old school German taste wasn't very much there. Not the classic German vinegar salad that we used to love here...

Great place to stay in summer, when prices are literally half compared with wintertime. Great spacious room and a comfortable swimming pool.

One big problem was the lack of a dedicated ski boot room ( there was only an improvised solution). Also, the glutenfree bread in the morning was served only sparingly.

We liked the room and the breakfast. We had a nice place for breakfast with a view of the garden. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal: close to the city center, but still quietly located on a side street. A supermarket is around the corner.

Accommodation is in a quiet side street, but still only a few steps away from the “town center”. Very nice owners. Great garden with terrace. Top breakfast buffet, enough tea or coffee, wide variety, nothing was missing. Room was "small" but cozy and very clean. Large carport for our motorcycle. We spent a great holiday in a great hotel. Everything was sparkling clean, the beds and duvets were excellent. The breakfast tasted delicious and the distance to the surprisingly great ski carousel Winterberg is not far either. Food fine, staff friendly, and always try to come up with a solution, The Owner is a man with humor, and very friendly, I don't understand why a number of Dutch guests lie that unfriendly personal works here. Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. Just spent the Easter holiday there with friends and kids a neither of us wanted to go home.

The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. We had an excellent stay at hotel Niedersfeld. Very friendly and accommodating staff, superclean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast, great Wi-Fi and even a spa! To some the ambiance may feel a bit outdated but we loved the atmosphere, as the place has a great 70s vibe and it's very well kept. Do check out the Kegelbahn!

I was there 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend and his family and it was a beautiful experience! They have an amazing kitchen, they offer regional and seasonal meals, they also have vegetarian and vegan dishes. We had views to the mountains for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had a wonderful (cycling) weekend with our Callantsoger Cycling Club (CFC). Hotel Jägerhof is a cozy and fresh family hotel with everything you need. Nice spacious rooms, good and decent food and if desired (important to us) space for a more than pleasant evening in the cafe room! In short, definitely worth repeating.
