Very nice hotel, cozy and located in a nice position. Hightly reccomended.

Thank you for some wonderful days at your hotel. The friendly and cozy vibe made our stay a nice and relaxing experience. The Staff was at all time to our servic. The hotel was clean and the wellness area with the pool and saunas was also great. The food was good, and the winery had a fine selection of wine from different areas.

The rooms are nice and clean but the mattresses were far too soft. We didn't sleep well at all. Friendly lady at the breakfast buffet. The lady of the house is quite brisk and not very helpful. The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner. Beautiful location, near ski slopes and lift, but in quiet surrounding outside Winterberg. Very friendly owners, rooms are very clean with good beds, great buffets for breakfast and for dinner. Swimmingpool and sauna, nice bar with a fire. We had a great time.

We arrived with 60 other colleagues on at motorcycle trip. The staff was friendly, the food was good and there was plenty of it. The rooms was large, clean and new. The hotel is located in the middle of Sauerland, so it was perfect for a starting point for our daytrips on motorcycle in Sauerland. The reception was sometimes a bit difficult to work with. All in all a nice hotel, I would com again.

The guy on the reception desk when we arrived, was excellent, a very friendly and welcoming face ***** He gave us a complete run down of the resort and made us very welcome.

Staff is friendly, especially at the bar. The rooms are adequate for what you pay. At one point there was a malfunction with our shower water, and staff was very nice about immediately helping us change rooms. The work out room is unfortunately equipped pretty bare-bones, and the spa area has been called somewhat outdated.

Great place with pool, sauna and much more. Cleaning every day. Surrounded by nature and well kept. They speak some English, but it's Germany so. Also great food, always different and with something for everyone.

I had a very nice and relaxed stay at "Der Schöne Asten". The room was comfortable and clean and the service very friendly (if a little inexperienced at times). The menu has been overhauled recently and the new food and drink are excellent . Try the burgers! At peak times there could be a little wait, but nothing bad. The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We had a nice stay. The real Sauerland breakfast was rich and delicious. The family-run hotel is very clean. Well-kept and spacious rooms. The city center and a hiking trail can be reached in just a few minutes.

We were there from Thu-Sun with 5 people and 5 dogs. Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Free parking spaces at the house. We stayed in the building next door. Cozy, beautifully furnished rooms. We were there in mid-December and we really enjoyed it. As soon as we arrived in front of the house, we were totally amazed by the whole ambience, how lovingly it was decorated, how beautiful everything was, really a dream. Food fine, staff friendly, and always try to come up with a solution, The Owner is a man with humor, and very friendly, I don't understand why a number of Dutch guests lie that unfriendly personal works here. And complain about food. Or are they all first class cocks. I eat vegetarian and they do their best, if you want better then look for a 5 star hotel. At least I was brought up to be satisfied...

Small, fine, lovingly run hotel. The owner designed everything with a lot of heart. The breakfast is super great, very nicely prepared and a large selection of sausage and all kinds of delicious, eggs and scrambled eggs always with you, thanks for these great days, we'd love to come back

Very nice little hotel in a good location. We received a very friendly welcome and we were served a wonderful breakfast. Absolutely to be recommended.

We had a very nice but unfortunately far too short vacation. The hotel with its very nice hostess contributed a lot to this. Room super spacious, super clean and great breakfast. We'll definitely come again. The location is also great, everything can be reached on foot.

Had a very nice holiday!! Staff is super helpful and friendly, atmosphere is very homely, food is really delicious and the setting is truly breathtaking!! The rooms are a bit dated and the water pressure is a bit less if there are many people showering at the same time, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I had the best holiday here! Definitely recommended!!!!

Excellent staff, rooms were roomy and bright, a bit worn, not too bad. Some noise from street and building construction, also not too bad. Great breakfast..staff was outstanding.

Centrally located, 10 minutes walk to the ski resort, there is another MONKEYLAND also 15 minutes walk. The on-site restaurants and bars have a variety of styles and tastes good. There is parking on site.

You can read my tips and opinions in the reviews. Definitely recommended, the Sauerland and the hotel are worth a trip, especially on a motorbike.

Room was big and clean enough. Breakfast was basic but fine. The bar and restaurant were good.

After having visited and stayed at several accommodations in and around Winterberg, the Central-Hotel stands out; thanks to their food, service and the 10/10 location.

Lovingly furnished hotel, our room was very idyllic with a fireplace, valley view, very bright and large with coffee and tea station Breakfast exceeded everything, the owners left nothing to be desired, there were even warm rolls. If you want to relax comfortably, this is definitely the right place for you. For me the hotel easily deserves 4 stars.

You can see from all other reviews the tranquility of this unique spot, clean rooms, and amazing breakfast. Beyond that, I have something else to share. A beautiful and lovingly furnished hotel in a fantastic location. The view from the hotel is indescribably beautiful. The welcome from the owners is very warm and they try to make your stay unforgettable. Everything is so clean and tidy, you immediately feel at home!! Parking spaces are directly in front of the house. Bicycles can be secured and loaded. We keep coming back!!!!

Small but lovely hotel. Super friendly people, always helpful. Breakfast is small but very good. Centrally located in Winterberg and not far from the Karussell ski lift; it's an easy walk.

The entire house is super clean, a great breakfast with delicious coffee. Special requests are largely fulfilled. The garden is very well-maintained with plenty of seating. The owners are very friendly. Drinks can be ordered almost anytime. Excellent value for money! Just a few minutes' walk from the market square/town center with its many restaurants, cafés, and bars, some of which serve hot meals...

We spend a long weekend here at the end of May, it was delightful! The owners were incredibly welcoming, they serve great breakfast with fresh produce. The location is perfect for staying in Winterberg: there are shops, cafes and restaurants around, the train station is 15 mins walking. Overall highly recommend!

We liked the room and the breakfast. We had a nice place for breakfast with a view of the garden. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal: close to the city center, but still quietly located on a side street. A supermarket is around the corner.

Had a wonderful (cycling) weekend with our Callantsoger Cycling Club (CFC). Hotel Jägerhof is a cozy and fresh family hotel with everything you need. Nice spacious rooms, good and decent food and if desired (important to us) space for a more than pleasant evening in the cafe room! In short, definitely worth repeating.

I only went to the restaurant but the food was phenomenal. Best food I've had in quite a while. Lovely service too.

Authentic bierstube, food is tasteful and large portions. Service was very friendly. Nice selection of beers on tap and prices are very reasonable. We had a schnitzel topped with berries and cheese and a vegetarian dish, fried avocado with vegetables. The quinoa bowl. As a starter we had a salad and a mixed bruschetta.

Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. Just spent the Easter holiday there with friends and kids a neither of us wanted to go home.

The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. Be aware that there are very few car charging stations in the area and the closest super charger...

Value for money. Centrally located in the town center. Had a modern and clean room. Breakfast minimalist, but absolutely sufficient. The hotel is currently being built, but this has not affected us.

The hotel and breakfast are good, only the loud noise at thursday, friday and saturday nights is a downside.

The breakfast was not bad but not good either. There are a few drawbacks in the room, the wallpaper is hanging loose, it is quite dirty, it is doable for the price you pay. At night it is nice so I give this hotel 3 stars

The hotel is under construction. Hotel is an excellent base for motorcyclists. You are less than 4 km from Winterbergen. In the evening good beer chatting good music everything to have a successful weekend.
