Where to stay in Winterberg

This hotel offers such a high level of quality and service. Staff are so kind, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant two evenings and enjoyed fine dining on both. Swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi are so heavenly to relax after a ski-day. Fireplace is awesome with real wood. We will definitely come back.

We stayed for 2 nights. Very nicely decorated hotel, cozy atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming. The hotel is dog-friendly. Only downside is a fairly mediocre dinner for a high price. And breakfast is 28 euros per person - breakfast was fine but not worth 28 euros pp. The pool and indoor sauna are very clean. The outdoor sauna was out of order when we visited. The view from the room was outstanding

I cannot comment on the hotel. We stayed for diner. Nice diverse menu with plenty vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended!

Very sympathetic and welcoming personal. Charming Hotel, with comfortable rooms and well situated for nice mountain hikes or cycling roads. The kitchen is creative and tasty, with organic seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We been recently in this hotel with my husband for 6 nights. It is been perfect, highly recommended. Spa is outstanding!!! So relaxing there. Breathtaking surroundings. Lot of place could visited near by. Food was very tasty in the hotel, staff very friendly, and it was a bonus most of the staff was speak english, as we did not speak Germany and they also very welcoming. This is a 4 star hotel with amazing view in the mountains. We were there for six nights, but we didn't have time to try everything.

We are the big fun’s of this place, this was our 5th visit and we will definitely will come back again. Located nicely, a lot of things to do as a family with kids, nice restaurant, caring staff. ❤️

An amazing experience that we will not soon forget! The hotel's location is perfect for a nice walk to attractions in Winterberg (Shopping area, Ski Lifts, Rodelbahn, Hiking Trails, etc.), and a short drive to surrounding towns with other attractions (swimming, mini-golf, boating, etc.). The sauna and wellness area is very relaxing. Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature...

The staff is very kind and the rooms are very clean and and with 8 beds you can accommodate many people. The one bad thing is the wifi as there is a poor signal throughout the entire hotel. Edit: I should've complained about the wifi so that was on me and it wasn't really bad outside of the room.

Location top, dinners great. Kids friendly, however the kids club they could improve a bit, very small and outdated in my view. Kids buffet can be improved, it was everyday chicken and friet, could add some pasta and beef, carrots, etc. Please be aware that it is a Dutch place.:) Rooms a bit small. Overall, can recommend to everyone, especially with kids and who ski.

Went during winter. Nice hotel, breakfast and diner were also good. Sauna is very beautiful and nice. We booked a 2 person room and also used the ski/snowboarddepot that was included. However, when you have a snowboard and skis, 1 pair of shoes will NOT fit in the locker. The depot is really small when you have a 2 person room. We addressed this to the reception and were allowed to bring the boots...

Location of the Hotel is great, right next to ski lifts. Breakfast and dinner were also great, very well organized. In the morning we would chose our dinner menu. Kids are getting crayons and coloring papers before dinner. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

Really nice hotel with great rooms, services (people and equipment) and food. Location is practical, in the village, a little away from the ski slopes (but a free shuttle service is provided or access by car is very fast).

Very beautiful hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms. My kids were very pleased by the little details reserved for them such as kids slippers and kids personal care kit with special shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and a wet cleaning paper just for them. The service was excellent and the location is great. We went to the spa and it was clean and curated. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great comfort, nice facilities and very close to the city center. Only a 5 min drive to the nearest skilift. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stay for skiing in the Sauerland. The Big Egg building is iconic, the views from the rooms are great, the huge jacuzzi is fantastic after skiing or hiking, and the indoor pool has a diving board and a slide. There is an outdoor pool also but it was winter when I was there. The breakfast buffet is great. Bar was nice and had good wine. Good restaurant options within walking distance...

Great hotel just at the end of downtown Winterberg. Beautiful views of the area. The spa area is huge and very nice. I did not care for the strange ergonomic pillows but that's just a personal preference. We got stuck for a short time in the elevator so be aware. The breakfast buffet is really nice.

I was there for a one-day yoga workshop from the online yoga course. The resort is impressive! The food was excellent. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would also like to check out the rooms and other amenities.

Location is quiet, which makes it very cozy. But easy to go to the center and agitation. It has ski slopes and lifts very close. Room was clean and had two beds united. A bit of an effort to sleep in 2. Otherwise, very comfortable, with extra chairs and desk, tv. Ut was warm, which we liked. Bathroom small but has what you need. Winterberg is à place where u can have fun! There are so many things to do that it is à perfect place for everyone. Winterberg is known for some good mountenbike trails, also those are fun ! All litlle and big ways True thé Woods are Very maintained. I stayed at winterberg resort(***+*), this hôtel was also very good and very close to everything ! First downhill trail was 100 meters away!

The room was ok, we stayed there in summer, it was quite hot and the window could only tilt slightly, it could not properly open. No Airco to compensate. Apart from this, the hotel is very nice, good Wi-Fi all over, really friendly staff and the food is exceptional!

Good room with enough facilities, but the cleaning service is not good as 4 stars hotel. Also the pool area is not so clean and the pool has not really good filters as well. The breakfast is good and serves in a cozy place.

We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. Very clean. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park. The hotel is having a SPA with an indoor pool. We will go again .

We came here for our first experience with Winterberg. A spacious apartment with kitchen and bathroom in a separate room. But really guys, the bedroom, had no curtain or window cover of any kind. We went back to the reception and they offered us a pair a bed sheets and a do it yourself. 3 days passed and no one came to offer a better solution and score some extra points. The bed covers where too...

We stayed in the apartments that are 300m from the hotel building and we absolutely loved our stay. It wasn't a busy period so parking was available at all times, it was clean and spacious, quiet and relaxing - all we wanted. The pillows do need an urgent update so I recommend getting a pillow from home if that's something that's a deal breaker for you. The rest was great.

As you can see in the pictures, an extraordinary ambience. There's so much to see there. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The breakfast is great, something for everyone. You could choose from three menus for dinner. Super tasty. The spa area was great, not so sterile, very nice to relax.

The design, as shown on the homepage, is unique and extraordinary. The atmosphere and furnishings leave hardly any wishes unfulfilled and if they do, the service is happy to fulfill them. We had a wonderful weekend here... From arrival to departure everything was top notch! Breakfast in bed... wellness area great - just like the food and the service!!! We went there for bowling and it was quite a unique experience. The bowling place had one lane with the lane and bowling balls being different and the controls were confusing to say the least. The staff was friendly but hard to find. Personally wouldn't recommend but it was alright.

Girlfriends wellness vacation 3 nights Was with my girlfriend on March 11, 2024 for 3 nights in the beautiful small family hotel. We had the Mexico themed room, it was very nicely decorated with a small tea corner and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there was something for everyone, it was always refilled, the nice lady who kept coming to the tables in the morning was courteous...

Thank you for some wonderful days at your hotel. The friendly and cozy vibe made our stay a nice and relaxing experience. The Staff was at all time to our servic. The hotel was clean and the wellness area with the pool and saunas was also great. The food was good, and the winery had a fine selection of wine from different areas.

The rooms are nice and clean but the mattresses were far too soft. We didn't sleep well at all. Friendly lady at the breakfast buffet. The lady of the house is quite brisk and not very helpful. The small pool was cold, not 29 degrees as advertised (20 max). Unfortunately on both days the bar closed at 8pm so we couldn't grab a drink after dinner. The hotel is very rural and is very attractive for walkers. Excellent care, somewhat dated decor, but friendly staff.

In the meantime we have been to the Landgasthof Wüllner for the third time. As always, everything was to our greatest satisfaction! Particularly to be highlighted was the food (buffet) in the evening. Everything freshly prepared and with that special something! Here again a big compliment to the kitchen and to the always friendly and attentive service. We would of course like to come back next year

The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We had a nice stay. The real Sauerland breakfast was rich and delicious. The family-run hotel is very clean. Well-kept and spacious rooms. The city center and a hiking trail can be reached in just a few minutes.

As soon as we arrived in front of the house, we were totally amazed by the whole ambience, how lovingly it was decorated, how beautiful everything was, really a dream. The beautiful hotel is in a quiet location, the entrance area/reception is lovingly designed. We stayed in the adjacent building for 2 nights. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. We were very enthusiastic about the breakfast buffet, it had everything we needed to start the day comfortably. The staff was very friendly. I can recommend the hotel and say thank you for the beautiful days.

We visit Central hotel every time we go to Winterberg Last year we even stayed there. The food is quite good for the money you pay. This year we went there again and had lunch which again met our expectations.Nice and cozy environment in the heart of the center. I blindly recommend this platform a good drink and lunch. Not a pub or a place for teenagers and early Twenties audience.

We liked the room and the breakfast. We had a nice place for breakfast with a view of the garden. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal: close to the city center, but still quietly located on a side street. A supermarket is around the corner.

Had a wonderful (cycling) weekend with our Callantsoger Cycling Club (CFC). Hotel Jägerhof is a cozy and fresh family hotel with everything you need. Nice spacious rooms, good and decent food and if desired (important to us) space for a more than pleasant evening in the cafe room! In short, definitely worth repeating.

The breakfast was not bad but not good either. There are a few drawbacks in the room, the wallpaper is hanging loose, it is quite dirty, it is doable for the price you pay. At night it is nice so I give this hotel 3 stars

Excellent, good value for money, that's what the stars were based on. John nice dutch guy. We had a wonderful time here with 5 men (motorcyclists). Beds sleep well. We were in room 21. The hotel is under construction. Hotel is an excellent base for motorcyclists. You are less than 4 km from Winterbergen. In the evening good beer chatting good music everything to have a successful weekend.
