We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. Very clean. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park. The hotel is having a SPA with an indoor pool. We will go again .

We came here for our first experience with Winterberg. A spacious apartment with kitchen and bathroom in a separate room. But really guys, the bedroom, had no curtain or window cover of any kind. We went back to the reception and they offered us a pair a bed sheets and a do it yourself. 3 days passed and no one came to offer a better solution and score some extra points. The bed covers where too...

We stayed in the apartments that are 300m from the hotel building and we absolutely loved our stay. It wasn't a busy period so parking was available at all times, it was clean and spacious, quiet and relaxing - all we wanted. The pillows do need an urgent update so I recommend getting a pillow from home if that's something that's a deal breaker for you. The rest was great.

The cleanliness was good and the staff was very friendly. However, the rooms are very clairaudient. Next door with the people in room no. 216 felt like a hostel for party people, very noisy. Therefore it's not fair the price!!

We are the big fun’s of this place, this was our 5th visit and we will definitely will come back again. Located nicely, a lot of things to do as a family with kids, nice restaurant, caring staff. ❤️

An amazing experience that we will not soon forget! The hotel's location is perfect for a nice walk to attractions in Winterberg (Shopping area, Ski Lifts, Rodelbahn, Hiking Trails, etc.), and a short drive to surrounding towns with other attractions (swimming, mini-golf, boating, etc.). The sauna and wellness area is very relaxing. Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature...

The staff is very kind and the rooms are very clean and and with 8 beds you can accommodate many people. The one bad thing is the wifi as there is a poor signal throughout the entire hotel. Edit: I should've complained about the wifi so that was on me and it wasn't really bad outside of the room.

Location top, dinners great. Kids friendly, however the kids club they could improve a bit, very small and outdated in my view. Kids buffet can be improved, it was everyday chicken and friet, could add some pasta and beef, carrots, etc. Please be aware that it is a Dutch place.:) Rooms a bit small. Overall, can recommend to everyone, especially with kids and who ski.

Went during winter. Nice hotel, breakfast and diner were also good. Sauna is very beautiful and nice. We booked a 2 person room and also used the ski/snowboarddepot that was included. However, when you have a snowboard and skis, 1 pair of shoes will NOT fit in the locker. The depot is really small when you have a 2 person room. We addressed this to the reception and were allowed to bring the boots...

Location of the Hotel is great, right next to ski lifts. Breakfast and dinner were also great, very well organized. In the morning we would chose our dinner menu. Kids are getting crayons and coloring papers before dinner. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

The design, as shown on the homepage, is unique and extraordinary. The atmosphere and furnishings leave hardly any wishes unfulfilled and if they do, the service is happy to fulfill them. We had a wonderful weekend here... From arrival to departure everything was top notch! Breakfast in bed... wellness area great - just like the food and the service!!! The innkeepers really fit into the world! Super fun bar evening; great wellness day; just great! The dedication with which this hotel is decorated and managed is absolutely amazing! We went there for bowling and it was quite a unique experience. The bowling place had one lane with the lane and bowling balls being different and the controls were confusing to say the least. The staff was friendly but hard to find. Personally wouldn't recommend but it was alright.

Girlfriends wellness vacation 3 nights Was with my girlfriend on March 11, 2024 for 3 nights in the beautiful small family hotel. We had the Mexico themed room, it was very nicely decorated with a small tea corner and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there was something for everyone, it was always refilled, the nice lady who kept coming to the tables in the morning was courteous...

I was here with my husband for a wellness weekend and was thrilled. Warm welcome, nice service, with great attention to detail. This hotel has got lovely steaks and very good service. make sure to book a table - since it's always busy. You have live piano played by the owner/manager. I would highly recommend this place for a good dinner and stay.

Friendly Welcome. Room was ready although they have an unusual check out time of 14:00. Clean sunny room. TV , balcony but no fridge or safe, but large wardrobe. Shower/ WC. Beds comfortable. In the desk was a sealed package, price tag 30 Euros. Initially thought it would be chocolates, but no it said on the back this included batteries and 3 condoms. So fun , not edible ! Breakfast was a high standard...

Everything was good except the parking. Their ripoff system steals 15 euro every time you exit, even though it's supposed to be 15 per 24 hours, unless you register your car license plate in the system, then it is supposed to be 9 euro. I regstered my car but they still stole 15 euro on every exit. The reception claimed there should be SPACES in my car number plate! Whoever heard of spaces in a car...

This hotel has great basics. Great bed, pillows, super silent, it's spacious, the shower was nice, everything was clean, coffee maker in the apartment, pool was very warm and pleasant. I am taking away 1 star for the bad technology that just got me way too annoyed for a 1-night stay. The check-in online got stuck on the credit card validation after I had put all my personal info - I already provided...

I liked everything! Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds. There is a small kitchen, which is very convenient. The view from the windows is amazing. Fresh air. You can sit on the balcony and admire the local scenery. The breakfast is delicious, there is everything you want. The place is an awesome location and easily accessible. Hotel has covered parking (9€ per night), a play room for kids, Pool and sauna. We had a great stay in this hotel and I would recommend it for spending a few days in the Sauerland region. The location is amazing, you’re close to nature but not far from the city centre as well. Everything was perfect 👌 The staff is super nice and the Spa is amazing. The food is great and not so overpriced. We were able to stay the entire day at the spa even after checking out. If you are looking to relax and have a good time I recommend it.

The location is very nice for parties, family celebrations or workations. Jost and Kathrin run the house with a lot of love. The mix of "old style" and modern country house style is really nice.

Nice big family home away from home. Big rooms with en suite bathrooms, large living room and sauna facilities. Kitchen is workable but a bit narrow. Two minutes walking from the snowfields, 10 minutes from the ski slope. Ski rental at the beginning and end of the street. Private parking. Highly recommended!

The house has about 10 rooms and could house about 20-25 persons. Additional Two rooms were still remodeling. Has a small kitchen with dishwasher microwave stoove oven and fridge. Also a infrared and dry sauna with additional shower. There is parking space for 8 cars. And a small garden with a barbeque (not cleaned...) big living room with dinner table and smal room with an old piano. Some old boardgames...

Beautiful hotel set in the beautiful mountains. We visited with our 4 and 1 year old kids so we could not do any of the hiking around the area but we loved our stay there. We went beginning of October. The view of the mountains from our room was just breathtaking! Must be beautiful to stay here overnight. Its pricey but you get value for your money. They even have rooms downstairs for dog owner
