We stayed for 2 nights. Very nicely decorated hotel, cozy atmosphere. Staff is very welcoming. The hotel is dog-friendly. Only downside is a fairly mediocre dinner for a high price. And breakfast is 28 euros per person - breakfast was fine but not worth 28 euros pp. The pool and indoor sauna are very clean. The outdoor sauna was out of order when we visited. The view from the room was outstanding

I cannot comment on the hotel. We stayed for diner. Nice diverse menu with plenty vegetarian dishes. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended!

Very sympathetic and welcoming personal. Charming Hotel, with comfortable rooms and well situated for nice mountain hikes or cycling roads. The kitchen is creative and tasty, with organic seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We been recently in this hotel with my husband for 6 nights. It is been perfect, highly recommended. Spa is outstanding!!! So relaxing there. Breathtaking surroundings. Lot of place could visited near by. Food was very tasty in the hotel, staff very friendly, and it was a bonus most of the staff was speak english, as we did not speak Germany and they also very welcoming. This is a 4 star hotel with amazing view in the mountains. We were there for six nights, but we didn't have time to try everything.

Good room with enough facilities, but the cleaning service is not good as 4 stars hotel. Also the pool area is not so clean and the pool has not really good filters as well. The breakfast is good and serves in a cozy place.

We stayed at a one room apartment with two elders and two children. The apartment is new and well furnished. Very clean. The location is also very good there are lots of activities available around the park. The hotel is having a SPA with an indoor pool. We will go again .

We came here for our first experience with Winterberg. A spacious apartment with kitchen and bathroom in a separate room. But really guys, the bedroom, had no curtain or window cover of any kind. We went back to the reception and they offered us a pair a bed sheets and a do it yourself. 3 days passed and no one came to offer a better solution and score some extra points. The bed covers where too...

We stayed in the apartments that are 300m from the hotel building and we absolutely loved our stay. It wasn't a busy period so parking was available at all times, it was clean and spacious, quiet and relaxing - all we wanted. The pillows do need an urgent update so I recommend getting a pillow from home if that's something that's a deal breaker for you. The rest was great.

The cleanliness was good and the staff was very friendly. However, the rooms are very clairaudient. Next door with the people in room no. 216 felt like a hostel for party people, very noisy. Therefore it's not fair the price!!

Everything was good except the parking. Their ripoff system steals 15 euro every time you exit, even though it's supposed to be 15 per 24 hours, unless you register your car license plate in the system, then it is supposed to be 9 euro. I regstered my car but they still stole 15 euro on every exit. The reception claimed there should be SPACES in my car number plate! Whoever heard of spaces in a car...

This hotel has great basics. Great bed, pillows, super silent, it's spacious, the shower was nice, everything was clean, coffee maker in the apartment, pool was very warm and pleasant. I am taking away 1 star for the bad technology that just got me way too annoyed for a 1-night stay. The check-in online got stuck on the credit card validation after I had put all my personal info - I already provided...

I liked everything! Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds. There is a small kitchen, which is very convenient. The view from the windows is amazing. Fresh air. You can sit on the balcony and admire the local scenery. The breakfast is delicious, there is everything you want. Pleasant and polite personal in the restaurant, they also joke, making the atmosphere more relaxed and pleasant. The girls at reception...

The place is an awesome location and easily accessible. Hotel has covered parking (9€ per night), a play room for kids, Pool and sauna. An amazing experience that we will not soon forget! The hotel's location is perfect for a nice walk to attractions in Winterberg (Shopping area, Ski Lifts, Rodelbahn, Hiking Trails, etc.), and a short drive to surrounding towns with other attractions (swimming, mini-golf, boating, etc.). The sauna and wellness area is very relaxing. Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature...

The staff is very kind and the rooms are very clean and and with 8 beds you can accommodate many people. The one bad thing is the wifi as there is a poor signal throughout the entire hotel. Edit: I should've complained about the wifi so that was on me and it wasn't really bad outside of the room.

Location top, dinners great. Kids friendly, however the kids club they could improve a bit, very small and outdated in my view. Kids buffet can be improved, it was everyday chicken and friet, could add some pasta and beef, carrots, etc. Please be aware that it is a Dutch place.:) Rooms a bit small. Overall, can recommend to everyone, especially with kids and who ski.

Went during winter. Nice hotel, breakfast and diner were also good. Sauna is very beautiful and nice. We booked a 2 person room and also used the ski/snowboarddepot that was included. However, when you have a snowboard and skis, 1 pair of shoes will NOT fit in the locker. The depot is really small when you have a 2 person room. We addressed this to the reception and were allowed to bring the boots...

Location of the Hotel is great, right next to ski lifts. Breakfast and dinner were also great, very well organized. In the morning we would chose our dinner menu. Kids are getting crayons and coloring papers before dinner. Nice pool area. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

Really nice hotel with great rooms, services (people and equipment) and food. Location is practical, in the village, a little away from the ski slopes (but a free shuttle service is provided or access by car is very fast).

Very beautiful hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms. My kids were very pleased by the little details reserved for them such as kids slippers and kids personal care kit with special shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and a wet cleaning paper just for them. The service was excellent and the location is great. We went to the spa and it was clean and curated. Really enjoyed the stay.

Great comfort, nice facilities and very close to the city center. Only a 5 min drive to the nearest skilift. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stay for skiing in the Sauerland. The Big Egg building is iconic, the views from the rooms are great, the huge jacuzzi is fantastic after skiing or hiking, and the indoor pool has a diving board and a slide. There is an outdoor pool also but it was winter when I was there. The breakfast buffet is great. Bar was nice and had good wine. Good restaurant options within walking distance...

Great hotel just at the end of downtown Winterberg. Beautiful views of the area. The spa area is huge and very nice. I did not care for the strange ergonomic pillows but that's just a personal preference. We got stuck for a short time in the elevator so be aware. The breakfast buffet is really nice.

I was there for a one-day yoga workshop from the online yoga course. The resort is impressive! The food was excellent. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would also like to check out the rooms and other amenities.

the place was clean and quite. rooms are sufficient for a short weekend stay. not far from ski lifts and has its own parking space. the staff are friendly.

Beautiful hotel set in the beautiful mountains. We visited with our 4 and 1 year old kids so we could not do any of the hiking around the area but we loved our stay there. We went beginning of October. The view of the mountains from our room was just breathtaking! Must be beautiful to stay here overnight. Its pricey but you get value for your money. They even have rooms downstairs for dog owner

We stayed at the hotel in february 2019 - as we went skiing i Winterberg. A very nice hotel, excellent location and a very nice atmosphere. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are very kind and attentive. Nice with a pool - after a day of skiing.

We had a great company winter event. The only missing star is the furnishing of the rooms and bathrooms. Investment has been made on wellness. Family run, extremely good hospitality, food quality beyond "Gutburgerlich" Surroundings are also great. We would certainly come back!

This hotel has got lovely steaks and very good service. make sure to book a table - since it's always busy. You have live piano played by the owner/manager. I would highly recommend this place for a good dinner and stay.

Friendly Welcome. Room was ready although they have an unusual check out time of 14:00. Clean sunny room. TV , balcony but no fridge or safe, but large wardrobe. Shower/ WC. Beds comfortable. In the desk was a sealed package, price tag 30 Euros. Initially thought it would be chocolates, but no it said on the back this included batteries and 3 condoms. So fun , not edible ! Breakfast was a high standard...

Room was nice, everything worked fine. Be aware: street side rooms can be very loud coz of the traffic. Breakfast is average, it did not convince us to go for dinner as well. Location is very good, ski lift is about 10-15 mins on foot, city center is about 3 mins. Staff does not speak English but friendly. At the reception the one did not even care that we spoke English but simply answered in German...

As you can see in the pictures, an extraordinary ambience. There's so much to see there. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The breakfast is great, something for everyone. You could choose from three menus for dinner. Super tasty. The spa area was great, not so sterile, very nice to relax.

The design, as shown on the homepage, is unique and extraordinary. The atmosphere and furnishings leave hardly any wishes unfulfilled and if they do, the service is happy to fulfill them. We went there for bowling and it was quite a unique experience. The bowling place had one lane with the lane and bowling balls being different and the controls were confusing to say the least. The staff was friendly but hard to find. Personally wouldn't recommend but it was alright.

Girlfriends wellness vacation 3 nights Was with my girlfriend on March 11, 2024 for 3 nights in the beautiful small family hotel. We had the Mexico themed room, it was very nicely decorated with a small tea corner and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and there was something for everyone, it was always refilled, the nice lady who kept coming to the tables in the morning was courteous...

The location is very nice for parties, family celebrations or workations. Jost and Kathrin run the house with a lot of love. The mix of "old style" and modern country house style is really nice.

Nice big family home away from home. Big rooms with en suite bathrooms, large living room and sauna facilities. Kitchen is workable but a bit narrow. Two minutes walking from the snowfields, 10 minutes from the ski slope. Ski rental at the beginning and end of the street. Private parking. Highly recommended!

The house has about 10 rooms and could house about 20-25 persons. Additional Two rooms were still remodeling. Has a small kitchen with dishwasher microwave stoove oven and fridge. Also a infrared and dry sauna with additional shower. There is parking space for 8 cars. And a small garden with a barbeque (not cleaned...) big living room with dinner table and smal room with an old piano. Some old boardgames...
