Didn't stay at the hotel but used the bar and restaurant while we watched football during the euros. The food was very tasty, the bottled beer was very drinkable and the service in reception and at the bar was memorable. Best of all the bill was very reasonable.

Beautiful spacious rooms, good location, good breakfast. Was missing a refrigerator in these hot summer nights though.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly, our room was nicely decorated and spacious, and we had a delicious breakfast from their breakfast buffet. Parking was conveniently available at a parking building close by, and our daily parking fee was reduced by the hotel. We received complimentary public transport cards, which we've been told can be used to travel not only in the city itself, but also to Düsseldorf and back. We would certainly stay at this hotel again, if we are in the region.

Rooms on the streetside of the hotel very noisy at night due to traffic, emergency services and pub visitors

What a surprisingly nice hotel. Staff, rooms, service. Traveling a lot for business it is a rest and relieve to find a honestly welcoming hotel and a nice ambience. Thanks especially to the fiendly staff

Decent rooms and location.
But I had a deeply disappointing experience by the reception team, especially one gentleman (guess his name is Júg, though I am not sure). I ordered a gift for my family on Amazon with delivery to the hotel. While the delivery was on my day of checkout, I still had my baggage at the hotel, as I had informed them that I will collect it in the evening, along with the Amazon delivery and requested the lady at reception to keep her team informed. I kept tracking the delivery and was happy that the gift was being delivered before I was flying back home from Germany. However, to my horror, the gentleman at the reception rejected the delivery even though they had rest of my baggage. I called immediately as soon as I saw the notification, but he simply had no answer why he rejected it. Nor an answer to why he couldn't give me a simple phone call. HE SIMPLY DIDN'T CARE.
Well, what's the point of being so cool and awesome, when you can't do simple stuff which your customers really value. This last experience left a bitter feeling about my trip to Wuppertal, which otherwise was a beautiful place with wonderful people. Will not recommend Postboutique Hotel to anyone for the stay, though.

Just visited the hotel and stayed for a few days. The location is perfect (Close to Wuppertal Train Station), good restaurants around.
