Decent hotel. English is not their cup of tea. Access to the underground parking is tricky and very narrow. No direct access to the underground parking from the hotel. Food/breakfast is great. Shower cabin is tiny.

My room was assigned on the ground floor, and since there were trash bins and food waste containers right in front of the window, I was unable to open it.

Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly receptionist, especially towards foreigners.
We checked in on the afternoon of June 28. Since we were unsure whether breakfast was included in our reservation, we asked the male receptionist in German. He was very polite and clearly told us that breakfast was included. We asked three times to confirm, and each time he confirmed that it was included. Based on this, we had breakfast the next morning.
However, when we checked out on the morning of June 29, a middle-aged female receptionist told us, with a very rude attitude, that we had to pay an extra €30 for breakfast. We explained to her in German that we were told by her colleague the previous day that breakfast was included, which is why we had it. We asked her to confirm with her colleague.
At this point, the woman suddenly lost control — she started yelling, slamming her hand on the counter (this is not an exaggeration), and claimed that we misunderstood because we were foreigners and couldn’t understand German. Her attitude was extremely arrogant, aggressive, and completely disrespectful. It wasn’t just irresponsible; it was a blatant display of discrimination and lack of basic human decency.
In any case, I do not recommend this hotel — unless you’re willing to pay a high price to be yelled at, insulted, and discriminated against.

Reasons to rate it 1 star - 1) The rooms were not good, the shower was broken , the water sink was jammed and the entire bathroom and even the bedroom was flooded with water. 2) service is ok but they can't fix the problem and are not ready to fix it until u keep pushing them. I was really pissed off and sitting outside my room to get washroom fixed. I was given broken room and broken services, it's a job of hotel staff to ensure they give better facilities and inspect issues before check in the customer. 3) location is near to the bus stop but hard for the handicap and physically challenged person to climb that road. Parking is another big issue.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and with the windows closed, it was quiet at night. The staff was also very friendly, and the online reservation was trouble-free. The hotel is a little out of the city, but there's a bus stop right outside, making it very convenient for getting around, and you can buy tickets right there. There's a supermarket a few hundred meters away, and a pizza place right on the doorstep, which was a nice touch. You'll need to bring your own toiletries and slippers, but the hotel provides glasses and a hairdryer.

- Not a real "con" but just to mention: the hotel is a little bit far from the city center. There is anyway the option (if you don't want to drive), to take the bus number 12 direction city center. Bus stop is just 5 (or even less) minutes by foot from the hotel.
We will definitely repeat if we organize a new visit to Würzburg. Thanks for having us.
