What a fantastic week we had. The staff just made the vacation. The place was small and quaint. Food was delicious and tasty and plentiful. Rooms and resort were clean. It was a little old, but definitely part of the charm. Beach was beautiful, but rough while we were there. But a little cove was close by which was calm and a sandy bottom. Was very sad to leave

There were strange power fluctuations throughout the day which often times reset the wifi network which was not only slow but crawled on the weekends when there are more guests than usual. One of the best locations in Sosua. Nice pool. Easy access to beach. Chica friendly. Great price. Speak English. Very popular. Free access wot gym that has decent equipment and wooden basketball court. WiFi not on rooms. Only check in area. Great value for cost.

Beautiful place. Really nice hotel, friendly staff who really try to go the extra mile for you. Rooms are big and clean with AC, never experienced any theft or anything like that. Bit outdated hotel where the rooms could use some refurbishing. Very big well maintained garden en also a huge swimming pool. Location is excellent.

Rooms are what one could expect from a third world country and they are cleaned everyday.

Staff was very nice. However, while in the property you will not be able to nap in the middle of the day if that is your thing, it is way to loud since right in front of your window is the main street and lots of motorcycles pass by along with cars with hooked up loud music. if you are going with family you are better off staying in Puerto Plata or Cabarete. Great staff and breakfast. Close to the strip with great food. Beautiful beach is only a short walk away. Helpful business directly across the street to book reasonable Dominican tours. I enjoyed the horseback riding on the beach and snorkeling at Paradise Island, for my few days of tours.

Beautiful litlle sandy beach, clear water and no crowd. On weekend there is many loud Dominicans who left a lot of garbage but on working days you can really enjoy on this hiden beauty.

We stayed on the Select side of the resort, and despite a few cons during our stay, we definitely will be returning again. Nice resort. Very close to the airport. Food was good. Beds were extremely hard and we did not have hot showers the entire week we were there. Lukewarm at best. Not a true adults only resort. Beach has lots of kids. Service wasn’t consistent but it was okay.

During the cleaning they took our personal tooth brush an cream...at the next day no one was available to replace it...i had to wait until somebody showed up in order to brush my tooth even though it was a 24/7 service...that's why i dis an early check out

My stays at Casa Valeria are usually pleasant but this last trip there were a few issues. Two nights of my stay the water stopped working in the entire complex and I had to wait the following day for someone to come repair it, there were rolling blackouts as well. The staff was always pleasant especially the front desk staff and the ones working in the dining area. Will I book another stay there? Yes...

My stay was for 7 days. The staff was professional. The hotel room was clean and room service fixed your room(if you wanted them too). The drinks and food were very good. The free breakfast can use a little more portions.

This place is awesome! The owners are friendly and entertaining, they are quick to make you feel extremely comfortable and taken care of. The place is very clean, the bar is fantastic and you can request music. If you love animals, you will be greeted by some very lovable dogs, they are so amazing, there are turtles, iguanas, etc. I highly recommend, and will be back again!
