Where to stay in Sosua

My second all inclusive hotel on this trip so far so good. We were permitted to check in early. Nice beach and the hotel does not seem to be too busy.

We had a stay there in January of 2020. We ended up upgrading to the Select VIP side on day 2 due to how busy the other side was. Like many reviewers have already pointed out, the front staff are not very attentive nor polite. Excellent resort! On the beach and access to rock to jump into the ocean. Food is delicious and unlimited drink all day at the bars. Staff extremely helpful and nice. We gave very short notice about a birthday in our group and they made a personalized cake on the spot!

Soon as I got there the toilet didnt work. It was gurgling back up whatever you had flushed and sometimes didnt flush at all. The location is almost perfect in a good part of town. The room has a decent bed and good shower, but it has a tiny desk that can barely fit a laptop and power outlets are in inconvenient locations. They put me in a regular room without a hot tub, even though I had paid for the extra amenities suite room online.

I was there with my 3 cats 🐈 because there were people operating the animals there for free. It’s a beautiful place.

I stayed one month. I had my original apartment changed. And was moved to an apartment with best ocean view. You can hear the waves. Breakfast was included and was good. Beautiful grounds in a convenient and secure location. Two pools - one is an infinity pool facing the ocean with a perfect sunset view. You can't beat the private beach - one of the prettiest in the DR.
