My second all inclusive hotel on this trip so far so good. We were permitted to check in early. Nice beach and the hotel does not seem to be too busy.

We had a stay there in January of 2020. We ended up upgrading to the Select VIP side on day 2 due to how busy the other side was. Like many reviewers have already pointed out, the front staff are not very attentive nor polite. Bit outdated hotel where the rooms could use some refurbishing. Very big well maintained garden en also a huge swimming pool. Location is excellent.

This is hands down the nicest view of Sosúa Beach that you can have. It literally feels like you can jump in the watery from your room. The Victorian House itself is old and needs some repairs but overall it is a great value with an incredible location and a view that you'll remember forever, even on rainy days it's breathtaking.

Rooms are what one could expect from a third world country and they are cleaned everyday.

However, while in the property you will not be able to nap in the middle of the day if that is your thing, it is way to loud since right in front of your window is the main street and lots of motorcycles pass by along with cars with hooked up loud music. if you are going with family you are better off staying in Puerto Plata or Cabarete. The best play to stay in sosua. I have been to sosua for like over 10 times and this place is like a 5 star resorts. It has two infinity pools and a water side and kids pools and playgrounds. Nicest hotel I've stayed at in the DR. Chris and his wife are super hospitable. The grounds are clean, the pool is great the room is big, TV wonderful, king size bed very comfortable, walking distance to the town and the beach. Very quiet neighborhood, all the staff is friendly. Some things are a little run down in the apt we stayed in like the windows dont seal well and you can hear everything outside. Its ok, but sucks when someone passes by with their car stereo blasting, The microwave was not working, and they were quick to bring us another one. Over all we are happy with our stay.

This place has changed bit since the pandemic and my last visit. As far as the restaurant part mostly before you paid a fee to enter day pass and could order food if you wanted to. Now you pay a deposit and you get credit for food/drinks. The beach and pool were still nice and relaxing. The food we did get was good also. Still work going to for a relaxing day.

New garden is a popular Hotel for Sousa. The rooms are nice and clean. Hotel staff are friendly. Restaurant and swimming pool available here. I recommend this hotel for single men, couples who are open minded. This is definitely not a family structured hotel. If you have kids stay elsewhere.

Soon as I got there the toilet didnt work. It was gurgling back up whatever you had flushed and sometimes didnt flush at all. I complained to the front desk and they went to look and said "yup its flushing slow" and that's it. They didnt switch my room or fix the issue.
