Trip.com , you betrayed us, until now you were always about euro 10 cheaper.
This time, I did not even crosscheck with other apps ; and I booked. At the same time afterwards I checked on booking and I paid euro 20 more per night.
Lesson learned : never trust anyone, do your homework before buying

A very pleasant stay! To our surprise we got our room upgraded. The suite was spacious and clean and we slept unbelievable well. The decoratìon inside the hotel is very stylish. The breakfastroom is also spacious and quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast much-there was everything we needed. The location is perfect. I believe the summertime is fabulous. You have the sea right in the front of you - breathtaking! Thank you. I highly recommend Rannahotel to everybody who visits Pärnu.

Amazing. Literally everything! Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Relaxed atmosphere. The building itself is very romantic and has a historical vibe.
Also enjoyed amount of interesting art and paintings all over the building.
Hotel staff is extremely kind. Many Thanks to Regina on reception and her special treatment to us;) Made our stay so nice!
There are beach towels, flip flops, robes, minibar- all included for the guests.
Breakfast is very rich, fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Renovated, elegant. Expect Hercules Poirot to appear, that’s how spot on this seaside treasure is with art deco charm.

Had a lovely stay.Room was perfect got an upgrade for 20 euros what was worth it.Enjoyed the food in restaurant too.

Excellent location at the beach. Nice old-time atmosphere, renovated with respect to the architecture and original style.

Great property by the beach!

Superb location by the beach. Quite an experience to stay at this grand old hotel that has been around since 1937. Pity though there are no spa facilities and the use of the sauna is extra charge.

OUR ROOM:
We had a room with seaview. There was no balcony but the windows had unblocked views of the beach. When the window was opened, it was close enough to hear the waves and the seagulls.

The bed was comfortable and the room was functional but the furnishings felt old. We were quite disappointed to find a number of power socket and light switches not working the first day. However, when we told the staff, they restarted the power mains and everything started working. They explained that it's because the system supporting the building is also old but gets going again with some intervention.

BREAKFAST:
We had breakfast in the large 60s styled dining room. The buffet offered a simple continental spread of bread, eggs, bacon, cereal, lox etc.

THE BUILDING:
Looks big on the outside but since most of the space in the building has gone to the rooms, there leaves little to explore. The most interesting parts are the dining hall, retro furnishings and the grand flight of stairs; all a reminiscent of old-world luxury.

With little to do at the hotel, one starts noticing the collection of abstract paintings with raw patterns, spooky colors and strange depictions hung in dark spaces and dimly lit halls. It's can be easy to feel spooked here, even during the day.

NICE STAFF:
Nothing untoward happened during our stay. The staff were incredibly nice and made us feel welcomed.
