Amazing. Literally everything! Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Relaxed atmosphere. The building itself is very romantic and has a historical vibe.
Also enjoyed amount of interesting art and paintings all over the building.
Hotel staff is extremely kind. Many Thanks to Regina on reception and her special treatment to us;) Made our stay so nice!
There are beach towels, flip flops, robes, minibar- all included for the guests.
Breakfast is very rich, fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Great location, beautiful rooms.

Renovated, elegant. Expect Hercules Poirot to appear, that’s how spot on this seaside treasure is with art deco charm.

Superb location by the beach. Quite an experience to stay at this grand old hotel that has been around since 1937. Pity though there are no spa facilities and the use of the sauna is extra charge.

OUR ROOM:
We had a room with seaview. There was no balcony but the windows had unblocked views of the beach. When the window was opened, it was close enough to hear the waves and the seagulls.

The bed was comfortable and the room was functional but the furnishings felt old. We were quite disappointed to find a number of power socket and light switches not working the first day. However, when we told the staff, they restarted the power mains and everything started working. They explained that it's because the system supporting the building is also old but gets going again with some intervention.

BREAKFAST:
We had breakfast in the large 60s styled dining room. The buffet offered a simple continental spread of bread, eggs, bacon, cereal, lox etc.

THE BUILDING:
Looks big on the outside but since most of the space in the building has gone to the rooms, there leaves little to explore. The most interesting parts are the dining hall, retro furnishings and the grand flight of stairs; all a reminiscent of old-world luxury.

With little to do at the hotel, one starts noticing the collection of abstract paintings with raw patterns, spooky colors and strange depictions hung in dark spaces and dimly lit halls. It's can be easy to feel spooked here, even during the day.

NICE STAFF:
Nothing untoward happened during our stay. The staff were incredibly nice and made us feel welcomed.

Nice and clean Hotel. Good Breakfast. But receptionist only smiles when she can charge you for the additional parking fee.

Very good location, on the seashore, the room is warm and clean. The food in the restaurant and service are good.

Great hotel with a lot of history. The rooms are neat, the service is at a high level. The breakfast is delicious with a view of the sea. I highly recommend it.

One of the best hotels we visited. The historic hotel building from 1937 has been renovated in beautiful style. The guest enjoys every step from the corridor to the rooms and restaurant. Everything is done with taste, every detail is impressive. Cozy rooms, very comfortable beds, the most delicious tap water, beautiful views of the sea and nature, quiet and peaceful. The staff provides the highest level of service with a smile. Rent a lot of power including a luxurious tandem and ride around the city. The bikes are delivered in front of the hotel. Very tasty for breakfast with plenty of choice for vegans too. The beach is right in front of the hotel, places for a walk. Delighted with every second. Jedinečné místo a jeden z nejlepších hotelů, v kterém jsme byli ubytováni. Historická budova hotelu z roku 1937 naprosto dokonalé zrekonstruovaná a snoubí se tady historie z modernou stylem, který na vás dýchne na každém kroku a raduje každým pohledem. Špičkový service od recepčních po pokojské. Prostorné pokoje, pohodlné postele, nejchutnější voda z kohoutku, krásné výhledy ať už na moře či na stromy, skvěly a lahodný výběr na snídani i pro vegany. Moře a pláž přímo před hotelem, možnost zapůjčení kol, které dodají až před hotel. Pro páry doporučujeme tandem, protože je to dokonalá jízda po skvělých cyklostezkách v okolí města i ve městě.

Impressive!

+ reception staff is professional and friendly, waiters are well trained and able to quickly serve the customers. I really felt welcomed there.
+ wodden floor (parquet) in the room.
+ dimming curtains (not fully blackout).
+ comfy bed with mattress protected by a hygienic layer.
+ generally very clean with some minor details forgotten (like some dust under the bed).
+ perfect location in front of the sea; moreover it's really quiet since the building is not facing a main road.
+ fast and reliable wifi.
+ the furniture and the layout of common spaces are amazing.
+ the breakfast buffet is like paradise, there are plenty of goodies all of great quality. Quite uncommonly, they provide a variety of "real" 100% fruit juices, good cakes and fruit salad.

- the walk-in shower of junior suite has no glass pane, so you will end up easily with half bathroom wet. Strangely, the normal room has glass panes all around the shower.
- pillows are too thick (for me, ofc it's a personal subject); a hotel of this level should provide both thin and thick pillows.
