Old and tired room in a very noisy street.
Old building with tired interior. Stains in the carpet, otherwise clean. The room was opposite to an extremely noisy bar where the heavy partying and music prevented sleeping until 6am. Poor sound insulation towards other rooms as well. Staff was impolite, didn’t say hello or respond to greetings. Had to pay extra at the hotel for a third bed even if the reservation was for three persons and the room was said to be big enough for four persons. Overall very bad experience and poor service. Can’t recommend.

The hotel is just outside the main shopping area, but within east waling distance.
Transport links are within a 15-20 minute walk from the bus or train stations.
The hotel bedroom was spacious, with enough storage for clothing. The amenities within the room, were good including the size of the television and a good coffee making machine.
The queen size bed was a little soft for my liking, but still comfortable for a 2 night stay.
The bathroom had a bath with a shower over the bath, which was a bonus as some rooms only have a shower.
One problem we did have within the bathroom was a faint smelling odour coming from the drain.
The hotel did a very good selection of food at breakfast, ranging from continental cold meats, cheeses to cooked eggs, sausage, bacon and mushrooms. There was also a good selection of breads as well as pastries, along with hot and cold drinks.
Overall a very pleasant stay and would use the hotel again if visiting Tartu.

Good Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s located a short walk from major attractions and around the corner from lots of restaurants and bars. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of freshly made food in a room with lots of seating. I’d definitely stay here again.

Pros and Cons
Pros: The location is the best in Tartu. The breakfast was also very good.
Cons: The bathroom had a constant smell of raw sewage and the toilet had black stains. The room could really use an update. The bed was broken down and not so comfortable.

Great location in the old town. Lots of restaurants etc nearby. A bit of noise from the street but the hotel provides earplugs and I slept well.

Good hotel with great breakfast. Room furnitures are old and toilet bowl has persistent stains. Be more considerate for wheelchair visitors.

My room was nice and comfortable, a lot of space. The interior was out-dated, though, not many sockets for recharging of all your gadgets. The lobby was spacious, too, but the fountain in it was odd. The location is great. Many nice cafés and restaurants nearby, as well the main venue of Tartuff (Tartu Film Festival).
