Had Diarrhea for a week after leaving the hotel. Water could be the problem. Lunch/ dinner same. Only meat was warmer, all other dishes were cold. AC Hot water as on your luck. No wifi in room, Have to go to receptionist and ask to switch on. Could not lock windows, door cannot lock from inside. At least the lift is working.

The hotel was clean and not far Karnak and Luxor Temples. They also booked a tour of The Valley Of The Kings for a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

You can see the Nile room the balcony, if you choose "River side". The location for sightseeing is also good. The building was very old, and equipment was not in good condition, too.

The New Pola Hotel is a good choice, especially if you value cleanliness and a GREAT internet connection. The Nile view is also a big plus. However, the significant noise from the road is a serious drawback. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options.

The location is very good, within walking distance to the Egyptian National Museum. There is no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. There are mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten. Breakfast is a fixed style every day, delivered to the room, and eaten on your own balcony.

This is my second stay. The prices are reasonable and there is a Carrefour within walking distance, which is convenient. I chose it because it was close to the diving shop. I had a late check out pre-paid for 5pm. However I was made to leave my room at midday. Of course I showed them my itinerary but they refused to acknowledge it. My travel agent is investigating this.
