I stayed at Jolie Ville with my family and had a very comfortable experience. The staff were child friendly and helpful throughout our brief stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the overall service was efficient and smooth. The facilities were good, and everything worked as expected, making it a reliable choice for our overnight stay. The food was good, offering a decent variety,...
Beautiful resort, located on a small island just outside Luxor. We had a family room, which were two interconnect rooms. Good beds, very clean. Huge breakfast buffet. 3 pools, of which one is (slightly) heated. We were there in winter, the unheated pools are too cold to swim then. View of the Nile spectacular. The staff is very friendly. Small things for improvements. Bathrooms slightly outdated and...
Great hotel in Luxor with beautiful views of the Nile. My room was very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was quite good, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The facilities also appeared to be well maintained. The only downside was that my apartment was a bit far from the main area, but aside from that, everything was perfect.
We had an amazing experience at Jolie Ville in Luxor. From the moment we arrived, we were truly impressed. The staff is incredibly kind, caring and always smiling — they consistently go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for their guests. The rooms are spotless, the housekeeping team does a fantastic job, and the spaces around the pools are beautiful and very relaxing. We loved spending...
We stayed at Jolie Ville in Luxor for seven days as a couple on our honeymoon, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The spa and massage treatments were wonderful — relaxing, professional, and a highlight of our trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely surroundings that create a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were always smiling, polite, and exceptionally welcoming, making us feel...
Such a great place to stay in Luxor, you have private swimming pools, restaurants, room service, ATMs, mini golf carts that can drop off at your room and back and they have a very good service where you can book your tours for west and east bank. Really enjoyed the stay and the rooms that we stayed in had a private balcony with a large room inside.
Any trips out need taxi or hotel's shuttle bus. But hotel in great location for visiting west bank sites and Luxor Rooms well serviced daily. Public areas clean, no rubbish laying around. Greeting you with a smile, all staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble.

I stayed at Pyramisa Aswan, and I was really impressed! The hotel has become much better than before — very clean, comfortable, and organized. The staff are all so friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The spa is also great! It’s very clean and relaxing, and the therapists are professional and kind. I did a massage there and it was...
Rooms were little outdated.. locks were little old.. shower area was less functional because the space in the shower area was less and water spills out from the shower area due to small glass cover which makes the floor wet. Location was amazing but nowhere it says that you have need to take ferry for every movement. And food was good they have 3 restaurants inside
Stayed here with my dad as part of our trip up the Nile. By far the best hotel we stayed in during our trip. Ms Christeen was great and very welcoming - as we're all of the staff. Rooms are lovely with views of the Nile and the pool area especially is beautiful. The boat to the island is easy enough and is roughly every 10 minutes operating all day & night.
It is difficult to find words to describe the hosting in Pyramisa. The island is amazing, well entertained, the pools are amazing and the scenery around the island is stunning. We did not use the spa experience but the rest of the services were great! Some special mention for the dinner, which is good, at a fair price and the employees are really nice. Namely, the custom manager (really gentle), Faisal...
Another Egyptian hotel that was half built when we arrived. The foyer was impressive and rooms okay though. The evening food was reasonably priced. The breakfast options were plentiful on the buffet and the coffee great but the early, takeaway breakfast was pretty appalling - 2 sandwiches, one mystery meat, one cheese, 3 pastries from the day before's breakfast and 2 pieces of fruit that looked around...
The facilities are a bit dated, definitely have shown the age of the hotel. Hoping that the hotel can do some refurbishment to return the hotel to its former glory. The boat is easily accessible from the dock across the Egypt Air office

Customer Service is outstanding. Location is convenience and close to stores and attractions . Price was reasonable. Rooms well-kept and clean. Strongly recommended this hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We were very happy to stay in this hotel.
Nice hotel with quaint rooms and the service was friendly. We had dinner here and the food was okay, but it was nice to sit by the pool and have a few drinks.
Very beautiful hotel, with nice view to the pool and Nile river Staff very helpful I will stay there again
Very nice hotel. Can see the nile river from my room. Staffs were very nice. Especially the young men who can speak a little Chinese, he is super friendly and always giving you a smile whenever he sees you.
Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough
Great hotel on the Nile. In a good location but on the main street so can be noisy at times. Many restaurants in walking distance

I am staying with my husband at the moment in this beautiful hotel. We’ve been before in Egypt ( Luxor , Sharm-El-Sheikh) and I should say that Steingenberger meets every point about our expectation! The hotel has a beautiful interior, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely pool and amazing view of the river Nile ! We’ve dined in Italian and Lebanese restaurants, food and service were great . If...
The hotel, since we had mentioned beforehand that the purpose of our trip was our wedding anniversary, had very warmly decorated the room and gifted us a cake and delicious fruits. However, upon arrival, there was no trace of the warm and friendly Egyptian welcome or the welcome drink, and the hotel and its facilities were not introduced to us at all—we were just given the room cards. I don’t know...
Luxury + Exceptional Views — Ideal for a Photographer! This was my first stay at a Steigenberger property, and I was blown away from the moment I arrived. As a photographer, I’m always paying attention to details — the architecture, lighting, and design throughout the hotel are stunning and make every corner feel worthy of a photo. The staff here are incredibly warm and professional. They were always...
Amazing hotel. The staff and the waiters were really kind. The best view of the Nile. The food is excellent! I love the morning juices at breakfast made by Ahmed and the food at the Italian restaurant Casa Di Napoli, made by the chef Ahmed, with the kind service of all the waiters there, specially Mr. Makar. The hotel has a traditional Bedouin bar where you can smoke shisha and enjoy the view. Thanks...
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and friendly. They found out it was our honeymoon and housekeeping made a heart on our bed out of towels and flower petals! The Thai restaurant was particularly good where our server Nira was really lovely. The pool was great, the location is excellent. The gym is solid. Watching the sun set...
Booked two rooms here. Breakfast was good. Rooms were renovated to have wooden floors so they were clean. Water pressure for the shower was really low though. Sheets also not crisp. But overall, higher than average.

The room was a bit old, but the balcony view was great. You could watch hot air balloons in the morning across the way. The front desk manager was very kind and helped us with a few issues. Almost all my best memories in Luxor are tied to that balcony view.
Front desk was very accommodating, Mohammed gave me a room immediately when I walked in early morning and requested for early check-in. The hotel is located just beside KFC and there are many restaurants nearby. Very convenient and nice big garden and swimming pool that’s next to Nile River.
The hotel is closed to most attractions in Luxor. They kindly let us in our room earlier than check in time. My only complaint is that the water from the shower takes a long time to heat up
Keep up the great services. God bless you all with great health and happiness.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and couldn't be more safe if you had little ones who needed to run around. We had absolutely fantastic massages. The hotel is located on a small island Elephantine island on the Nile River in the middle of Aswan. The hotel is very nice, modern and safe. Fabulous view from our room and the restaurants, great food and a genuine inclination from the staff to help guests. We loved our 2 nights here. The deer enclosure is a treat. We also loved watching all the birds along the river bank.
Centrally located in Aswan. The only trouble is the need to travel across to Elephantine Island by shuttle boat to reach the hotel. But worth it with the beautiful view of the surroundings from the hotel. Cleanliness can be improved especially chairs/tables at the restaurant.
We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful resort. Everything was organized to perfection and everybody was super kind. Very neat and we had a great view on the Nile. We certainly hope to come back and stay in the same hotel. Thank you so much for!

Good location. Near to Luxor Temple, bus station and train station. Breakfast was good. A lot of choices.
Only one thing bad happened, 10 am today the manager of 5th floor asked me very ramdon wich number of room i have after leaving my room walking in the hall, when i comeback from breakfast 1,200 egyptian money are gone, not there. The rest is very good, nice staff, food, swimming pools, rooms, bed, everything
The hotel is beautiful, clean with good facilities and beautiful views from the garden, pool area, boat restaurant, sultan restaurant etc. It is close to many public amenities you'd need as well but the front desk staff are unnecessarily too serious that it was discomforting. There was no need for the robotic reactions. They have weird pool rules as well. I recommend this place still.
The hotel has a really nice location with a beautiful river view, which we truly enjoyed. The breakfast was also very good and satisfying. However, we found that the staff was not very helpful when it came to cleaning up the tables during breakfast, and the room was a bit noisy due to outside traffic, which affected our sleep. Great location, but the infrastructure is a little bit old. Internet was not stable at all. Great breakfast. Overall fair
The hotel is just next to the Nile River which we can directly see the view with hot air balloon in the morning from the balcony. We were staying in the hotel on Christmas Day. Food at restaurant out of this world amazing. I had the spicy chicken kebab and ate all of it. I'm a give foodie! The rooms were clean and had a view of the Nile river. Would stay here again. I booked my stay based on reviews.
The location is perfect, and the service is excellent. Rooms are Ok, style of Mercure hotels, but (as per 2017) needed some renovations. It's 10 minutes walk from Luxor temple, nile view, and I think it's the closest hotel to El Karnak temple.
All round an extremely enjoyable stay! I loved the location and the staff, which made my time in Luxor very pleasant. The rooms too are great and the prices are great value for money.
Gigi is the kindest and most professional hotel host. They took very good care of us when we got sick. Nice breakfast and fruits in the room.
Very nice hotel in a great location on the East Bank. Friendly and helpful staff, great pool, nice spacious rooms with many Nile views. Basma hotel is good value. They've updated and modernize all the rooms and public areas. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. If you have to leave early in the morning and can't make the excellent breakfast buffet, you can ask for a breakfast box. The best option is Basma for it's price.
We stayed two nights in this hotel. The location is really not ideal — it’s right next to a cemetery and a mosque, so from around 4 a.m. you hear the loud call to prayer and morning ceremonies for almost an hour. The hotel was also under renovation during our stay, and the noise from drilling and construction continued until around 10 or 11 p.m. The hallways smelled strongly of paint. The quality...

We were arranged to stay in a river view suite in a small house across the road from the hotel (in fact, there is no river view on the first floor). The room was relatively damp. We paid the price of a five-star hotel but lived in a county guesthouse with decoration standards. The overall feeling was that the premium was very high and there was no cost-effectiveness.
The hotel is close to the Nile River, the swimming pool in front of the house is very clean, the environment and scenery are first-class, and it is very enjoyable. The room is very large, the bedroom, living room, and bathroom are all large and clean. The hotel yard is large, parking is convenient, and the service staff is very friendly. I booked a three-day chartered boat tour of Abu Simbel Temple...
Excellent room, and very friendly and sincerely caring staff. The Nile view from the balcony is amazing. Monica the Guest relation manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay is at its best. Ibrahim from the breakfast restaurant always prepare our breakfast to go as our excursions were very early. Thank you Tolip staff for making our stay memories unforgettable. THANK YOU.
The location is far away from the city center. The hotel helped to call taxis at extremely low prices. I was forced to stay in the hotel for dinner. Of course it was not delicious. No bottled water ready in the room Only the sunset is beautiful
I booked it temporarily because of the change in the itinerary. Tolip is a chain of five-star hotels in Egypt. Although the decoration style and facilities are relatively old, it is already considered good in the local area. The price is also very cost-effective. There are rooms with Nile views. It is only a one-minute walk away. It is very good.
The environment is good, next to the Nile River, and you can see the Nile River from the room. The breakfast is also quite rich, but the room facilities are very old, like a third-tier city hotel in China in the 1980s. The price-performance ratio is a bit low, so there are very few guests in the hotel.

During the entire trip to Egypt, I was quite satisfied with this hotel and the St. Regis in Cairo. Maybe I have high standards. The hotel is good, the scenery is beautiful, but the restaurant is average. The flaws do not outweigh the merits. I strongly recommend everyone to stay here.
The mattress is uneven, bumpy and full of big lumps, like a pot lid was secretly stuffed inside. The food in the restaurant is not good, and I had diarrhea after eating. As an old hotel, it is really unacceptable... The only thing I can praise is the scenery, which is really beautiful. This is probably the best scenery in Egypt. The overall cost performance is quite low, but it is indeed the best in...
The room is very big. I like its bed the most. It is super comfortable. I want to have the same one in my own home. The most worthwhile thing is the view, so you must book a room with a Nile view, otherwise the experience will be much worse. The hotel is not big, but the room is super big. The food is average.
The decoration style is full of old money style. The service is very good. The room facilities are relatively old. The included breakfast is in the 1902 restaurant. There are not many varieties and the taste is average. However, it is worth staying just for the beautiful view on the balcony
We stayed in two rooms, the new building (Nile view) and the old building (garden view). The interior decoration of the new building is not as retro and elegant as the old building, but the bathroom and room layout are much larger than the old building, and the Nile view is really unbeatable. Both are different and worth it. It is recommended to stay for two nights.
One of the most famous hotels in Aswan and even Egypt, it was once a hotel for royals, politicians, and celebrities. If the budget is OK, don't hesitate, it will be a very unique and beautiful experience. The shower in the bathroom is really useless. The gardens are so pretty you can definitely enjoy the pools and bars and truly a slice of heaven The rooms so clean I slept so well. had an early flight and was able to get takeaway breakfast at around 5 am. Very filling. Loved it. Book it you won’t regret it Worth every penny
The hotel garden is amazing. It’s very calm and quiet.
A lovely hôtel situated in beautiful gardens next to the Winter Palace. Service was excellent. A lovely heated pool area where you can relax. The hotel offers a variety of food options. I will definitely return.

Next to the Nile River, the hotel is very unique, the small garden is very beautiful, and the night view is amazing. It is recommended to choose rooms starting with 2 and 6, which are far from the street and quieter. I watched the sunrise and sunset of the Nile River and felt that the trip was worthwhile. In addition, the Egyptian buffet breakfast can be taken away, which is very friendly.
I was worried about the hotel because of the reviews But it was actually very good♡♡ I stayed at a hotel with a view of the Nile It was very pleasant to walk back to the room at a leisurely pace⛵️ Breakfast🥣 was average But dinner was at the hotel restaurant🍽️ The menu was extensive and very delicious✨
Location Good. Service good (the bellboy michael is very helpful). The hotel room is not clean, has bugs. and the water heater and perssure is suck. Not able to take a good shower after a hot day
Great location. All the others’ conditions are acceptable.
The hotel was beyond my expectation. First of all, when we checked in, the front desk saw that we were a family of three and upgraded us to a three-bed room for free. In Egypt, where prices are high, this service is particularly good. Secondly, the hotel has a beautiful river view. Although it is not at the old waterfall, the river view here is not bad. There is a pier next to it, so it is also convenient...
Wonderful sunset from the terrace
Location in the very city center, on the banks of the river Nile and just opposite to the famous Aswan souk - couldn't be better. Staf very attentive. Nice view across the river Nile to the Elephantine Island. Fellucca harbour just beneath the hotel - only a few steps away from your room.

The location was superb. Everything was nearby on walking distance. The hotel itself is old and in dire need of renovation. Good stay overall. Good service as well.
Staying part of a tour group. Room is clean, large, and accommodating. Had issues with no warm water and the staff and maintenance took care of it. They also gave me a fruit basket for my inconvenience. Very kind staff and good customer service! Would stay again!
Big room, friendly staff, nice view over the Nile river. The street downstairs is VERY noisy though with traffic and idiot drivers who honk the whole time until late. You will need earplugs to sleep.
I stayed at Citymax Hotel Aswan in August and had a great experience. The hotel’s location right on the Nile offers beautiful views and easy access to attractions like the Aswan Botanical Garden and the Nubian Museum. Getting around was simple using local buses and taxis. The property is very clean — my room and all common areas were spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful, with smooth check-in...
Good location, lake view was great. The rooms were clean and large. Bath room was also clean, staffs were friendly.
Good location. Staff helpful on several instances. Clean. Breakfast good for nationals. Ok for foreigners. Needs proper shai and brewed coffee. Rooms aimed for style rather than function. Too dark the lighting. Hard to work out the light switches. Fridge did not work properly. Glass shelf just over the kettle, I smashed my face into. Just grazed.
