I really enjoyed my stay at Dar Dahab. The staff made me feel right at home. It’s beautifully located on the beachfront with awesome views, especially at sunrise.

The owner and manager even helped me get some of those nice cushions to take back home — I really appreciated that.

Overall, it’s a very nice place with great people.

Nice location away from the crowded mamcha, but takes a 5min walk to get there. Good option if you want a balance between quiet and direct walking access to everything. Quiet, clean, and chill boho vibe with friendly service. Nice balcony and terrace spot to watch the sunrise. Access to "private" beach in front of the hotel.

We had a great stay in dar Dahab. Very friendly staff and nice location in a quiet and beautiful area about 30 min walk from the center. They have upgraded our room to a sea facing one with a great balcony which was amazing. The only thing it’s a bit pricey. Anyway I will come back in the future!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right by the sea, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well-equipped – some even come with a kitchenette, which is super convenient.

The hotel’s decor beautifully blends a modern touch with local charm, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety to start the day.

What stood out the most was the staff – they were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable seaside getaway. We will definitely be back!

I look forward so much to come back to Dahab to Dar Dahab for my diving holiday but also because Dar Dahab for me is home and all the management and personal is a family!! The location is amazing for me starting the day with the sunrise and if I don't go diving there I a great coral area buzzing with with from nemo to piper fish to lion fish! I come back every year always for longer periods because take visiting trips to Cairo and net trip to Luxor in winter time...The management will help with any requests if they can and if they are some problems and need some attention for some problems they will respond even in the middle of the night!! They work very hard to keep the place as you except to be for me is like a temple to care for like your own house...it's very close to local shops very friendly and local market away from the tourist area and after a while you will feel at home...I will not look fir any other place in Dahab because is home and family and somehow is always than the year before!! So I am coming back in January and send a great thank to all at Dar Dahab...Strongly recommended!!

My wife and I stayed at Dar Dahab for a week in August 2024 while doing a freediving course with Dahab freedivers. The hotel is very well placed, in the bedouin side of ther city. It takes about 20' to reach the Lighthouse with its promenade, restaurants and where most freediving clubs are located. Tom and Mustafah were extremely friendly, offering help for anything we wanted to do and keen to ensure our wellbeing. Mustafah prepared fresh, delicious -and plentiful- Egyptian breakfasts and even woke up in the iddle of the night to help us with our taxi when it was time to leave. The snorkelling in front of the hotel is also worth a dip. We will most certainly come back!

I loved the place and what it offered!
Me and my husband liked the quiet and peaceful vibes of Dahab and specifically in Dar Dahab. Ammar and Mustafa were very helpful and gave us great recommendations for activities we did in the property and around, and not only that they were very welcoming, responsive and respectful!
It truly made us feel like home. We will definitely return and recommend this for everyone I know!
What I loved as well how they treat animals and how they have this cute cat Neptune, he is the cutest!

Our daughter is living in Dahab & booked us to stay at the Dar Dahab & it was amazing. On arrival we were met by the owner who offered us drinks, information about the hotel, the area and what room we would like. We stay in a single self contained first floor flat, sea facing with fantastic salt block walls that naturally let the sunshine through with beautiful colours. The kitchen/lounge have everything we needed, the wet bathroom was great and a fantastic shower. Bedroom with salt brick bedside tables interesting lighting and comfortable bed. Lounge & bedroom have A/C & both have doors out onto the balcony looking out over the beach. Breakfast was server downstairs, had more than we could eat or drink, all freshly made and very tasty. Off to the beach, towels, seats & beach shoes all included. Totally recommend this hotel, not in the centre of Dahab, but close enough to walk or cheap taxi ride. Quiet area very friendly, and you have keys to come & go as you please. Whilst there check out the local diving centre Red Sea Tribe, great staff, super friendly, and totally professional. Night life in Dahab is real Egyptian, many restaurants, cafes & bars plus the shops & bazaar.

Our stay in Dar Dahab was a great. The hotel is beautifully architectured, the rooms are styled in modern design and are quite spacious. The stuff in the hotel is warm welcome, always happy to support or give an advice.
The atmosphere in the hotel itself is very calm and relaxing, making it the best place in Dahab to have a shift from crowded cities.
Definitely will come back again and recommend the hotel to other travellers!

I come back every year and somehow is always better than last time..Since 2015 is home for me...I miss can't come during Covid time..So was a pleasure be again at Dar Dahab back and this year even better than last time!! All the team work very hard to make your stay as comfortable and helpful with any requests..Ammar is not just a manager but can help with any requests and arrangements you want to do from trips to the desert , breakfast or dinner in the house or in Dahab..to even cook a great typical bedouin dinner!! Any arrangements Ammar is your person always with a smile!! Mustafa an Ahmet keep the place always very clean and very good with maintenance repairs at any time of the day!! Lady Nahid as the owner always very helpful and without Her Dar Dahab is like a sky without the stars..Great understanding and helpful for any personal problems even She is on vacation keep running Dar Dahab because She talk with Her team and this reflect also of all of Them interface with the Guests!! I honestly believe some guests don't deserve to be at Dar Dahab!! No respect for this very caring and loving place!! I love to cook sometime at Dar Dahab for everyone and as a chef is a pleasure over the years to have an Italian dinner with the team and guests...So if you stay at Dar Dahab think as your home because this is what make Dar Dahab unique..Everything else look its architecture, great views for a wonderful sunrise..I don't miss a single morning!! A terrace where you can sunbathing in peace and relax...I know and already planning for my next visit!! I strongly recommended to catch the real Dahab with close shops in Assala with great selection for every day needs.. At Dar Dahab there is no problem because there is a solution!! Thank you to all the Team to make my visit always so special!!
