Aparthotel Senator

I do not recommend... When we arrived, we were given a room with a view of the covered scaffolding on the street side. The insulation is rotten. In addition to a dark room, we were treated to the incessant noise of cars. Inside, it's no better. You can hear the elevator door and the neighbors' voices. After complaining, we were given a room change (the next day) to a "courtyard" side with a view of a terrace covered with construction equipment. The insulation was no better, but at least we had light. The hotel is aging and it's clearly visible. Considering the work and the services, the price of the rooms is exorbitant. Don't trust the photos on the website, they must date from the inauguration.

There is serious building working going on, lots of noise currently not recommendable . There is also lots of noise in general in the hotel and the rooms are not very practical. The plugs are in awkward places especially if you need to do any work with a computer. the kitchen is poorly organised. In general the rooms have not been well though out. The local is very central and the staff are very polite but with the current building work it is not a comfortable stay.

We booked 4 nights and the experience was very bad, the pictures on the website do not resemble the real pictures at all, the apartment is very small, old and not comfortable at all especially the bed and the smell of humidity is everywhere!! The star is just for the kindness of the person in charge of reception

BIG SCAM GUYS. Do not come to this so called hotel. They don’t give towels. When asked to give, they said it’s charged. When asked for sugar, tea sachets, they said it’s charged. Rooms are so small. There’s no space to breathe. Not at all AS LOOKED IN THE PHOTOS. Fake/scam hotel in BARCELONA. The entrance is as small as a cave. You won’t find it. It’s hidden. Its so small. The receptionist is so rude. I am staying for 3 days and they’re expecting me to use 1 bathing towel for 3 days. They think we are as unhygienic as they are. And for bedsheets, they change one bedsheet in 3 days. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING

Would not recommend to anyone especially if you speak English, I’ll start off with the only good thing. The location.
Other than that we ran into trouble immediately from the moment we tried to check in. I guess we just happened to run into the worst possible front desk person when we tried to check in, it was an older man very unpleasant, he spoke English and I’m sure he understood what we were saying but just wouldn’t wanna take it and he’d cut us off when we spoke and would just laugh off any concern we had about how we had paid for 3 and he said we won’t do refunds either before we had even checked in. We had booked the room for 3 but they wanted us to pay extra and said our 3rd member wasn’t allowed in so only 2 could check in. The rest of the staff were pretty pleasant to speak with but I guess we had run into the wrong person at the wrong time.
