Incredible experience at Hotel Monsuau. We booked the prime sunset view room and were very happy with our choice. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was easy to find on the street nearby, and the location was perfect to drive to the beaches we wanted to visit. Breakfast was incredible, they had a huge selection. Thank you for the hospitality from the employees, specifically reception, the breakfast chefs and service staff, and the cleaning staff.

This is the 3rd time here with a 6 year gap. We like the location 10 mins to the shops and restaurants. We booked the sunset view room which is a nice size. The staff are very nice and friendly The hotel is clean my only negative point is
after getting up at the crack of dawn to catch our plane only to arrive at 1200 hrs to be told our room was not ready until 1500 hrs had to open our cases to find swimmers to go and sit by the pool

Beautiful hotel with good service/staff. Overall a great stay, however there was one or two things that bothered me a little. I booked a standard room through the website however it’s not properly advertised how small these rooms are. When we arrived to check in we were given a glass of cava and told we had been given an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. However I can’t begin to imagine how much smaller our actual room was because the room we were given was tiny, we could barely get around. We were given a bottle of red wine and some macarons which was a nice touch but I would have preferred a slightly bigger room. The room was clean but the interior was a little dated in parts. The walls are paper thin (at least in my room in block 3, ground floor) you could hear every door open, close bang in the surrounding rooms and when the cleaners came to clean in the mornings. It was kind of frustrating the walls must be made of cardboard. My only other complaint and this is not the hotels fault is the taxi situation. This hotel is not in Cala dor it’s slightly outside (20-30 min walk) all the areas are split into zones and when we would look for a taxi during the day because you can only order for your zone there was none and then at night it might be a 30 minute wait. There is a bus stop near by which is handy and the buses are good but the taxi situation for peak times is ridiculous. Even in the evening down in Cala dor there would be a 40 minute wait for a taxi back your hotel. Monsuau is out of the way and not surrounded by much nightlife (restaurants/bars) so a good taxi service is essential but again I know this is not the hotels fault. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and the hotel itself was fab, bar food and drinks where also really good!

Nice clean hotel. Staff are friendly. Located about a 15 minutes walk from the main street of restaurants etc. Drinks are very expensive at the hotel. Breakfast is good if a little repetitive. The main hotel is the best location as the other 3 blocks are located across a street. Block 4 is not the best as it's the furthest away and is in the middle of residential properties. Majorca is very expensive generally. I'd give it a 6/10.

We stayed in this Hotel first week in July before the silly season starts.
A difficult one to review, as it’s being advertised as a ‘4 star plus’, I will split the review into 5categories
Location:
4* plus - absolutely couldn’t fault the location. Close to 2 fantastic beaches with Cala Serena being our favourite and 7mins walk away. Beach/coves are the best. With easy walks to restaurants and bars. Only negative which is a minor is that it’s next to a one way road and is constantly hearing the buses go by. plenty of shops nearby to get drinks/snacks.
Service:
4* - it’s good, polite and checking we’re ok, hotel very well maintained and very professional
Food:
This is where the hotel becomes a mixed bag. Breakfast is 5* - absolutely brilliant and lots to chose from/fresh. The evening dinner is 2*: cold, a lot less choices and you even have to pay for bottled/glass of water. A very different experience to Breakfast. To the point I requested a refund from Halfboard to B&B which both holiday operator and hotel agreed too. If you stay at this hotel, just get b&b and save your money to eat at the many great restaurants nearby.

4* we stayed in a standard room, nice balcony, modern room and air con was great. However if we had known how poor the dinner was we would have upgraded to a ‘prime’ room to get the bigger fridge/tiny kitchen to help keep food cold/fresh

I don’t usually write reviews, but my recent stay at this luxury hotel in Mallorca was disappointing enough to warrant one. What was meant to be a relaxing week turned into a stressful experience. Despite our efforts to approach every staff member with pleasantness, we felt like an inconvenience.
Upon arrival, we were thrilled. The main reception was stunning, and the pool looked exactly as we had hoped—extremely relaxing. Lunch was lovely, and all the food during our stay was excellent. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there.
We were surprised and concerned when we were asked to write our card details on a piece of paper to be stored under the counter until check-out. Such sensitive information surely deserves better security.
Our room, located on the top floor facing the sun, was uncomfortably hot on arrival. We turned on the air conditioning, but after an hour, the temperature remained at 23 degrees. Despite the engineer's assurances that it was working normally and would cool down further, it never did. The room was also very small, which added to our discomfort.
Nighttime was particularly challenging. The air conditioning consistently turned off, and the colored LED lights on the balcony illuminated the entire room, making it difficult to sleep.
The toilet’s only covered with a glass swing door which offers no privacy, adding to our discomfort.
We were promised that the manager would contact us to discuss the air conditioning issue, but we never heard from them. While the evening shift lady was kind and helpful, the male reception staff were extremely rude and never inquired about our stay. When leaving, they were confrontational about a data form we had to sign when we asked what the fine print was.
In the end, we were told the hotel is eco-friendly, which supposedly justified the poor air conditioning. However, charging 300 euros a night for a room where you can’t sleep due to the heat is unacceptable. We left feeling tired, stressed, and in need of a holiday.
If you’re looking for an "eco-friendly" hotel that roasts you at night but has no problem illuminating the entire hotel with colored LED lights, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We are in absolut awe , our stay was perfect in every way. We were met by a smiling and friendly front desk staff. We got all the information we needed. The staff was really helpful and friendly, all of them did their best for us to have a relaxing stay. The property was stunning, and everything was well kept. We had a swim up room, that was a great choice! We spent a lot of time there. The only thing we didn't care for was that the bathroom didn't close all they way. Would have liked more privacy. Breakfast and dinner were superb with lots of choices. The quality of the food was great. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies each day. We were entertained by Juan in the restaurant every day. Great atmosphere.

We had the best stay at Hotel Monsuau , the hotel was stunning , clean and modern. The staff were helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast had everything you could ask for and was delicious. Pool area was great & having the lap pool at the gym was a great addition to do some proper swimming.
The hotel had a great sky bar for sunset & the cocktails there + at the pool I could not fault. We did not try the buffet dinner but I’m sure given everything else it was great.
We found the bus services super handy with the bus stop literally minutes away. Beaches Cala Serena and Ferrara were not a far walk and both worth visiting.
The walk in to town was easy and well lit.
Definitely recommend this hotel for a couple or friends looking for a relaxing place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Monsuau this weekend. The hotel was modern and clean with lots of well designed spaces to relax. The welcome drinks at check in were a nice touch.
Lovely rooftop sky bar with beautiful views and epic sunsets. The pool was great, open 10am - 6pm with a lifeguard. Plenty of sun loungers and a nice chilled vibe.
The quality and selection of food in the restaurant was wonderful. The staff made our holiday, so friendly, attentive and helpful, a credit to the hotel.
The hotel is located in a quiet area at the top of Cala D’Or, walkable into the centre & a bus service runs from the top of the road. Beaches Cala Ferrara and Cala Serena are within walking distance.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back again soon.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of September. Was a little outside of the main town, but we knew that before booking so we were okay with it.
The room was beautiful and had everything we needed (robes, slippers, towels, ironing board, safe). The property itself is super modern and clean which we appreciated. The buffet breakfast had a ton of variety and was a very nice addition - nice to have breakfast included because we found the price of food in Cala D'Or to be quite expensive overall.
Only main complaint is the wifi. We were in building 2 (not the main building) and found the wifi to constantly be weak and struggling to connect. Also we didn't love that you couldn't take your bar drinks with you poolside. You needed to sit at an outside or inside table by the bar in enjoy a beverage.
Overall was a good experience, and for the price and value, we would return!
