Monsuau Hotel 4 Sup - Adults Only

My friend and me had a stay of 4 nights. The service was really good, we had a nice welcome and a lovely waiter Carlos. The hotel is beautiful and topped our expectations. The walk to the beach is not too long and there are enough parking areas near the hotel. The hotel gym is really well equipped.

Incredible experience at Hotel Monsuau. We booked the prime sunset view room and were very happy with our choice. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was easy to find on the street nearby, and the location was perfect to drive to the beaches we wanted to visit. Breakfast was incredible, they had a huge selection. Thank you for the hospitality from the employees, specifically reception, the breakfast chefs and service staff, and the cleaning staff.

A lovely quiet adults only hotel. Beautiful room that was kept immaculately clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool area or restaurant outside of breakfast time, but it looked clean and inviting. Our room was in the main block, we did note that had we been over the road in the rooms facing onto the road it wouldn’t have been as nice - the balconies for those rooms face right onto the road. Breakfast great with a huge selection of food and drink choices. Whilst parking is free there is literally room for about 4/5 cars just round the corner from the hotel, we weren’t ever able to use those spaces but there is a quiet side street just behind the hotel that we used. Wouldn’t recommend Cala D’Or at all (super surprised to find it was not at all like we expected, really poor dining options, overcrowded beaches, full of kids fair rides and bouncy castles) but this hotel is a perfect choice if you are needing to be in the area.

Staff was very friendly and cordial. Hotel had a modern feel, but not overdone. Food and the amount of options were amazing.

Property was so pretty and staff were very helpful and friendly. Wait staff in breakfast room were particularly good. Rooms were spacious and cleaning staff did great. Great experience and would definitely go back.

This is the 3rd time here with a 6 year gap. We like the location 10 mins to the shops and restaurants. We booked the sunset view room which is a nice size. The staff are very nice and friendly The hotel is clean my only negative point is
after getting up at the crack of dawn to catch our plane only to arrive at 1200 hrs to be told our room was not ready until 1500 hrs had to open our cases to find swimmers to go and sit by the pool

Meget serviceminded personale. Irriterende at man kun kan benytte halv pension til morgen og aften, men ikke frokost. Værelserne kunne være bedre afskærmet mod støj fra gangene.

BEST HOTEL TO STAY AT, IN CALA D'OR!
From the moment we arrived to the last second we left, it was my first time, but definitely not the last.
PROS;
-Room is spacious and modern, bathroom is nice and clean.
-Enough amenities.
-Property is really clean.
-Staff really friendly, always there to greet and smile at you. They helped me out to call a taxi since there was a language barrier.
-They greet you with a drink upon arrival and do a room tour with you, while helping you with your luggages.
-When you have an early flight, they pack you fruits and sandwiches when you check out.
-Pool is big enough, no matter what time, there's always a vacant sunbed. No need to reserve.
-It's quiet in the neighborhood. Quiet hotel also.
-Walkable to restaurants, to the center of Cala d'Or and to the beaches.
-Breakfast is good. Dinner, I haven't tried. Restaurants around the area are really good. A must!
-If you rent a car, they have parking spots reserved for the hotel or else, it's easy to park in the streets.

CONS;
-the room are not totally soundproof, so sometimes you can hear music or phones from the room next door.
-room service isn't everyday or anytime. I would recommend it to be everyday until 11pm let's say, instead of it finishing at the same time as the restaurant downstairs.

The cons didn't affect much of our trip, we could easily find alternatives.

We loved this hotel. So quiet, so comfortable. Felt luxurious and relaxing the whole time. Not to mention, the staff is always ready to help, very service minded people! Very happy that it was adults only, would not have been the same with a bunch of screaming children. All in all, zero complaints, I got back home relaxed, refreshed and inspired.

Beautiful hotel with good service/staff. Overall a great stay, however there was one or two things that bothered me a little. I booked a standard room through the website however it’s not properly advertised how small these rooms are. When we arrived to check in we were given a glass of cava and told we had been given an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. However I can’t begin to imagine how much smaller our actual room was because the room we were given was tiny, we could barely get around. We were given a bottle of red wine and some macarons which was a nice touch but I would have preferred a slightly bigger room. The room was clean but the interior was a little dated in parts. The walls are paper thin (at least in my room in block 3, ground floor) you could hear every door open, close bang in the surrounding rooms and when the cleaners came to clean in the mornings. It was kind of frustrating the walls must be made of cardboard. My only other complaint and this is not the hotels fault is the taxi situation. This hotel is not in Cala dor it’s slightly outside (20-30 min walk) all the areas are split into zones and when we would look for a taxi during the day because you can only order for your zone there was none and then at night it might be a 30 minute wait. There is a bus stop near by which is handy and the buses are good but the taxi situation for peak times is ridiculous. Even in the evening down in Cala dor there would be a 40 minute wait for a taxi back your hotel. Monsuau is out of the way and not surrounded by much nightlife (restaurants/bars) so a good taxi service is essential but again I know this is not the hotels fault. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and the hotel itself was fab, bar food and drinks where also really good!
