Hotel & Spa S'entrador Playa in Cala Ratjada

Really dated and not well maintained. The walls are incredibly thin, which means you hear everything going on in the halls and in neighboring rooms. It is not worth the price. The location is superb though.

Pros:

Location: very close to Cala Agulla 5min walk and that beach is beautiful and loads of nice places to eat around within 7 min walk

Staff are very nice and polite

Cons:

The spa opens at 8 am but the sauna opens at 3pm

You do not get a safe in the room for free. It is locked and you need to pay for a key (€3 a day) to keep valuables. Do not fit big items like iPads or laptops

The mini bar in the room always had a key and was locked. We had to buy drinks outside to drink in the room. The person in reception said the staff came to open it on the morning and locked it at night and in my opinion this is a terrible system. I do not want people to be coming more than needed inside of the room, however, I never noticed it was ever open the times I tried to grab a can of mineral drink

We stayed a week and when I noticed the bed sheets were not changed by the third day I asked in reception and I was told they change them every week unless you make a request, in fairness when I did make the request it was done the next day. My main issue is that this was not communicated and when you are staying in a seafront hotel and going to the beach almost every day you would expect them to be changed more frequent since you are paying for a hotel

I did not notice the floors got cleaned properly. They were always sandy. When I made the request of the sheets the room got a proper clean but then again, it should not be such case when you are paying for the hotel

(Hoovers are not used for cleaning the floors for what I noticed)

Finally, not very good sound insulation in the room. We were woken up at 6 am by noise multiple times during the week.

Overall I do not understand a lot of the management decisions of this hotel. I do not go ln holiday mode to complain or ask things to be done or why we do not have a key on the safe. It takes energy out of your day, so I would keep this in mind if this something you rather like to have in a hotel.

It is very expensive for what you actually get and in hindsights you are just paying for location to a very nice beach. Overall I would recommend to stay elsewhere if you can.
