Hotel Best Sol D'Or

Food beautiful, staff very friendly, very clean rooms, nice swimming pools especially for the kids, one minus we found- in the day not a lot going on , kids mini disco is at 930pm when it's late and last only 15 mins , poor entertainment is only one minus

Cannot wait to to come back to this hotel . we last stayed here in 2008 and we had such a wonderfull time. My wife is 60 in june so we wanted to come back here for a few days to celebrate. i have looked at the makeover the hotel has gone through since our last stay and it looks fantastic . Located very close to the beach. Clean rooms and friendly stuff. Buffet has a good quality and choice! Nice swimmingpool and there is always an activity for kids. In the evening the minidisco is awesome and kids love it especially for Alex who run the minidisco and the animation and is always very playful with kids, thanks Alex!!
A very nice holiday, strongly recommend it. Only suggestion we have is to move the smoking area in a different part. It is located in the entrance of the lounge / bar so the smoke enters everywhere in the lounge when someone smoke and is not nice if you are there with your kids.

Good hotel. The pool kept the kids busy for most part of the day, they loved it. Meals were good with reasonable variety. Location was good very close to the beach. Parking was an issue though, when booking online it says there is parking at the hotel but the week that we stayed there wasn't any available during the days we stayed and was mad expensive too. But on the bright side there was a public car park which was 4 euros for 24 hours much cheaper and only 8 minutes walk from the hotel, I used that which worked out pretty well

Amazing hotels for families, Modern rooms, very friendly staff, closed to the beach and local shops. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with any age group. It’s has kids pool and play areas.

An honest review from a family of 5, including 3 children. I requested 2 rooms on the ground floor, next to each other with a pool view and this is exactly what we got. Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and had good air con. One day our daughters teddy was accidentally taken in the bedding and the cleaner had kindly left this at reception. There are also complimentary drinks in the fridge for your arrival. The pools are amazing, the larger pool is warm and both are very well maintained daily. The slides are just brilliant for kids and bigger kids too (adults) :) There was always 2/3 lifeguards on duty and they were quick to assist when our daughter cut her elbow. At 1230 each day there is a very good energetic aqua aerobics which everyone gets involved with. The sunbeds were all perfect and there is no mad rush as the pool opens at 10, I queued out of choice around 0935 and no problem. Food is plentiful and there are themed dinners each night and the staff work very hard in the restaurant. We never had to wait for a table as went around opening time and a large bottle of water is only €2.40 so we had this every lunch/dinner as full board. Breakfast has coffee and juices included. The evening entertainment starts with a kids disco at 2130 lasting 30 mins and yes it’s in spanish but your in Spain. The team work very hard and it’s very enjoyable. The beach and promenade of shops are a 5 min walk away. All in all a fantastic holiday and didn’t want to leave. Remember this is a 3 star hotel if you want 4/5 then pay for it, but this exceeds a 3 star in my opinion.
