Ohtels La Hacienda Hotel

The best all inclusive we’ve been to. First off, checking in was straight forward, whilst waiting for the rooms we had a storage room for our luggage and was allowed to use all the facilities. Bar: 1 bar indoors, and 1 big bar with 2 openings outside. Food: Amazing. Breakfast is 0800-1030 Consists of typical English fry up food, along with a selection of Spanish meats, and also cereals. With plenty of juices and hot drinks. You can also have a fresh omelette or toastie made for you each day. Lunch is 1300-1500 Typically consists of meats - like kebabs, chickens, pork’s, with a selection of meats, fresh fruit, and lots of desserts. Dinner is 1900-2200ish Again, similar to lunch, plenty of veg, meats, etc and lots of desserts to choose from. Drinks at dinner are typical bar drinks, again available inside during dinner in the food hall. The outdoor bar area also serves amazing burgers, hotdogs, pizzas, chips, crisps, and other snacks all part of the all inclusive! The drinks are all named too, proper Smirnoff vodka, JD, etc! Rooms: 2 x double beds per room, air con as standard, we paid for the safe, and the balcony is a good side. Also…spotlessly clean. Fresh towels each day, and cleaned each day. I read a review which mentioned about only having one pillow per bed…ask for more? We did and they happily gave us 3 more. Bathroom has fresh towels, a bath, and a shower. Also has a hairdryer. Plenty of wardrobe space too. Mini fridge as standard. Negative… I broke my ankle on my first day. That’s it, not the hotels fault. However, the staff arranged a wheelchair hire with crutches, they assisted with booking taxis to hospitals etc. The staff in general are all amazing, one even offered to go home and get me a set of her crutches for me to use for the week! Entertainment: Children’s entertainment starts at 2100hrs, typically consists of balloon making, magicians, discos etc. and then the adult entertainment starts at 2200hrs. There is a children’s club which is open twice a day for a couple hours, consists of drawing, face painting, puzzles, games, films etc! The staff are good English speakers, and those who aren’t know the basics, but were in their country we should make an effort with their language! The pool area opens at 1000, due to me having a broken ankle they allowed us in 10 mins early to find a bed to beat the rush, as it is a typical run for your life moment when it opens. There is one large heated pool, and a children’s play area with 2 waterslides and lots of fountain type things for them to play with. There is a cold jacuzzi. Also…3 x adult water slides! Next to the pool area there is a park, a tennis court, and a football field, with more sun beds for those who like it a bit quieter and away from the noise. Overall, a really good experience, one lady at reception was local to where we live too! And also, we are booking again for next year, ignore the negative reviews, people like to moan.

La Hacienda is on exceptional hotel. Great family hotel. Lots to do, 5 minute walk to town and beach. Room was great, cleaned everyday. My favourite part of this trip however was the food. Fresh everyday and lots to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helped with everything. Overall I think La Hacienda is a great choice for your next vacation, especially considering the affordable prices. This hotel hass much to choose from and I definitely recommend. I like to thank you to all the staff working on hotel to be very friendly and helpful. See you in next year.

A lovely hotel! After an early flight we arrived to the hotel at 10am and were met by friendly reception staff who went above and beyond - and for us checked into our room 2hrs after we arrived. The room itself was spacious, clean and had a bright balcony area. The pool was a highlight for my children, thought it was great that the pool didn’t open till 10am, meant no rushing for sun beds and felt so relaxed. We were half board; breakfast and dinner was excellent, plenty of choice and we enjoyed everything we had chosen. My children loved the mini disco at night and the animation team were always so cheerful, it gave the hotel a great atmosphere, would 100% return.

Ignore some of the reviews you have read we came home on the 15th after a lovely week at this hotel yes there are some points that could be better but overall this was a lovely hotel. It is about 10 minute walk to beach and shops very pleasant for a walk after dinner the rooms are spacious and bright we had a room on 2nd floor overlooking the road no noise nice to sit out and watch people going past. Dining room opened at 8 no queues lovely selection at breakfast your toast was made for you no standing at a stupid machine bonus for us being a party of 6. Always something to eat a lunch and dinner again we went when it opened but that was our preference. Yes the food could have been warmer but there is microwaves if this is an issue for you. Bar in the dining room good idea you just went up and placed your order wine really nice. No problems with staff all very pleasant and efficient. Downside having to queue for pool which doesn’t open till 10 but in saying that plenty of sun beds we always got the 6 we needed and parasols pool lovely and warm all areas kept clean our boys age 10 and 8 had a blast between the pool and the 3 slides that are available lifeguards kept everyone in order which is nice to see in a very family oriented hotel.animation team were very good keeping everyone in order. All in all a very nice relaxing week enjoyed by us all.we are a family of 2 grandparents mum, dad,and 2 boys.would recommend.

Visited here for a week in mid July (leaving tomorrow) with our almost 3 year old. Very short transfer from the airport, we flew with jet2 and had transfers included. We were the first drop off and 20 mins in total on the coach which is great with a little one. Check in was fast, we arrived at 12.30pm and our room was ready. I had emailed the hotel in advance to ask for a room on a lower floor as we were abit worried about the balcony, we had a ground floor room with a pool view which was clean and spacious (2 double beds pushed together, would’ve been a squeeze if needed a cot but ample space and storage for us as we just shared the beds!). Small fridge and rooms cleaned daily (we just asked for ours every 2 days which was fine). Smaller pool for little ones and the main pool which are right next to each other, some inconsistency with rules from lifeguards. On our last day, the lifeguard told us we couldn’t have a small fish toy in the pool for our daughter to hold even though we had had it in all week, also stopping others who had similar toys for their children and I also saw him telling people they couldn’t bring drinks from the bar to their sunbeds - very odd. Understand why big inflatables aren’t allowed but the rules we were told on our last day were quite frankly bizarre and appeared to come into practice over night. Pool is open from 10am, people do queue for sunbeds and staff do put out flyers on beds where people have reserved then left but they don’t remove towels which defeats the object of giving people warnings. We did always manage to get a bed though despite the queuing. Food was lovely, better than expected and lots of choice. We did half board but spoke to people who did all inclusive and all drinks were included instead of just a selection which I think is great. Children’s entertainment team are amazing, our daughter loved the mini disco every night. They really made our holiday so thank you. Hotel is 10 min walk from nearest beach. It is in a quieter part which was fine with us, 13 euro for a taxi into salou or a bus stop at the side of the hotel. Salou is good for water sports, busier beach and more lively. We went into Salou for 2 days and stayed local the rest of the time. 20 min walk from the water park which was a great day out (we bought tickets online but a shop around the corner gave us vouchers for 30% off). Supermarket is a 5 min walk away selling any essentials you may need and a petrol station across the road that opens for snacks etc til 11pm. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed here as a family of five, staying in two rooms next door to each other. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They all constantly worked really hard! We were full board and ate most meals in the hotel restaurant. The areas were kept immaculately clean by staff and there was a good choice of food. Even as a vegetarian, I could always find enough to eat - although the meat also looked delicious. The pool area had plenty to keep everyone entertained and we had a super two week holiday. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for families.

Just returned from a week stay, 2 adults and 4 and 3 year old. We had a great week. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Only 10 minutes from Reus airport which is ideal for a young family. 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Our room was on the 6th floor (top) facing the golf course and theme park, lovely view. We experienced a very hot week so pool shoes were a must. Kids enjoyed the splash pool and slides. Larger pool was warm which we enjoyed. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Reception and restaurant staff we found to be very friendly and helpful. Some of the snack bar staff weren’t the best at speaking English and sometimes it felt they were being unhelpful and rude. Pool opens at 10am, small queue in the morning to get a sun bed. Sometimes a lack of parasols. Food was fine. We took the train from Vila Seca train station to Barcelona for the day. Had a great week and would recommend the hotel to other families with children.

Well what can I say about this place. I think the words top notch should do. What a great hotel, very spacious, very clean, very very friendly. Great rooms, great food and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. I would highly rate this hotel and the location, the beach is stunning and the locals are also very very friendly. 5 out 5 and I will definitely return here We had such a great time. Pool not open until 11 which is a shame. But plenty of sunbeds. Room cleaned daily. Entertainment team of 2 lads we called them Gaga and Mikee. Great for kids and adults, put on entertainment games we liked even when not on the programme. Good family holiday. Not romantic for couples but good for friends and families. Food ok and plenty of it. The beds are huge and super comfortable and very pleased there are proper black out blinds. Shower is powerful and warm and receptionists super helpful when asking about how to get buses and trains to Barcelona
