Gran Sagitario Hotel

Second visit to this hotel. Staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and very professional. The hotel is so clean and tidy. If you want nightlife or a lively location this hotel is probably not for you. The only letdown is people smoking around the pool and pool bar, although the hotel is supposedly a no-smoking hotel. Management need to get control of this.

We stayed at the Gran Sagitario in Menorca for 5 nights and had such a lovely experience. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, around 15–20 minutes on foot to Cala Blanca, and less than 10 minutes by taxi into Ciutadella.

The staff were incredibly professional yet friendly and always helpful. We really appreciated being able to collect clean towels daily for the pool or beach. Our room was very comfortable, with good air conditioning, a great shower, a comfortable bed, and daily cleaning. It was also very quiet and well sound-proofed, which made for a restful stay. I liked the no-smoking policy in the hotel, though it was a shame the guests in the room next to us chose to ignore it.

Breakfast was included and offered a wide variety of freshly prepared options, including plenty of healthy choices. Eating on the restaurant balcony was a lovely start to the day. The pool area was beautiful, always with plenty of loungers available, and we enjoyed drinks and lunch at the pool bar — both of which were excellent.

Overall, we were very impressed with the Gran Sagitario and would highly recommend it. We will definitely return.

Fabulous new hotel right next to Cala Santandria. Smart, moden decor, very pleasant staff, lovely pool, very clean, great selection and quality of food at breakfast. The only negative is it's a little clinical and lacking in atmosphere especially for evening dining and although there was live music one night we were disappointed when it was completely over by 11pm! . On the positive side, the location is super right next to the lovely Cala Santandria beach.

Beautiful hotel.
This hotel is perfect if you want a quiet , relaxing and peaceful holiday. It’s very Modern and exceptionally clean (the staff are cleaning all of the time). The rooms are a good size and has everything you need, fridge, safe , tea and coffee facilities…..AIRCON!
The pool is beautiful and is a really nice temperature. There were always enough sun beds.

The staff are all very welcoming and work really hard to keep all of the guests happy. The women on reception are very helpful.

The selection and quality of food is outstanding, really tasty and fresh! Chefs do a brilliant job!

Loved our stay here in May - took our parents in their 80s. Good facilities for couples of differing ages, with some relaxed evening music around the bar.
Easy for us to be more adventurous around the island. Enjoyed the local food options and well kept pool area.
Great service, didn't use spa facilities but looked nice.

Just come back from 10 night bed and breakfast 💖 I wanted to write a review based on a few things, location, food and hotel and service
So firstly location.. for me personally, I felt like the hotel was a little out in the sticks. We booked bed and breakfast thinking that there would be a lot around, such as cafes, restaurants, pubs and even shops. Wrong. The nearest town is probably about 30 mins away which isn't too bad I agree, but cala blanca isn't much to write home about, it's quite small with not a lot there really. So for us a little disappointing. Though that being said hotel is quite close to ciutadella, which is very lovely, you would have to get a taxi it bus there though definitely not walking distance.
Second food, for me personally the food was super disappointing, as I mentioned we only went bed and breakfast, but on the first night we decided to pay to go into the buffet, so it was €30 each... and well.. for me the selection was poor, I am not a fussy eater. I will try anything, but the food was bad. And also cold. I do not mind basic food but cold food is a no. We thought maybe breakfast may be better. Nope. Every day it was cold.BUT the being said the pool bar food was absolutely lovely. Really good selection, and not too badly priced. This is just my opinion though, I spoke to some other people at the hotel and they liked the food
Tried hotel and service.
I cannot fault the hotel itself.. it is absolutely spotless. The rooms are cleaned each day. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room, complimentary water or cava on arrival. Rooms are really nice and spacious, comfy beds, pool is absolutely spotless. Staff are really friendly and helpful, I didn't use the spa but went down to have a look and it looked absolutely lovely, bar was nice, cannot complain about the hotel itself.
But would I stay here again... for me no
There just wasn't enough for me to do. Not enough places to walk at night, personally not enough of a beach for me. And food put me off, but if you want a relaxing chilled holiday, maybe this if for you

Lovely hotel with great staff. Very little in the immediate area but you can take a 20 minute walk to Cala Blanca. Went on bus to Cituadella which was a great day out, but bear in mind the bus is usually full when it gets to the bus stop nearest the hotel. Had to walk to Cala Blanca and get the bus there.

On our last day staying at this AMAZING hotel - all the fab reviews are true I can assure you and well deserved. It is just gorgeous inside and out, very well designed 👌 and all the staff work very hard to ensure you have the perfect stay. It is kept immaculately clean and spotless everywhere by a very hardworking lovely housekeeping team as is the pool outside bar/restaurant and gardens.We only stayed for B n B as we prefer to eat out at the local restaurants- Breakfast was fantastic all fresh n loads of choice. All in all an absolute delight to stay here. Lovely cove n beach 5 mins walk with a few bars n restaurants and not far to the busier areas of the charming city Citradella and beaches of Calen De Bosch- we hired a car for 1 day & used taxis but buses go to most places if required. It's located in a quieter part of Cala Blanca and approx 10 mins walk to busier part. It well deserves its excellent reputation- a very big thank you to all the staff 👏

A good 4* hotel.

Absolutely immaculate, lot's of credit to the maids, cleaners and the garden staff. The entire hotel was spotless for our 10 day stay.

Every single member of staff was friendly and polite. Special thanks to Xavi and Jesus for greeting us daily with smiles.

PLENTY of sun beds, no one reserved.
The entire pool area was peaceful, relaxing and serene.

Food was varied, with a large selection.
However, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant.

WiFi connectivity wasn't great, but when it successfully connected, there were no issues.

Would definitely stay here again.

Spotless, beautiful and quiet. The staff were so kind and friendly (especially Sara at the front desk), the food was fantastic and very varied too. The location was brilliant; super close to the bus stops to get around and only a €6 taxi trip away from Ciutadella. Not to mention the exquisite beach and coves around the corner... There were lots of local amenities including souvenir shops, supermarkets and pharmacies should you need them.
The evening entertainment was fantastic - especially the Drifters tribute Motown night, I truly danced the night away and I think the staff enjoyed it too! The spa was nice for a change and I loved that the towel robes came as standard, what a treat! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.
