Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their kindness and generosity. They went above and beyond for us throughout our trip, offering excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and making sure every detail of our stay at the hotel was perfect. Their immaculate hospitality truly made us feel at home and completely safe.

The hotel itself is magical, an oasis of peace and relaxation. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the lobby and restaurant, and the atmosphere was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, with butterflies floating around, it felt like a dream.

We will never forget our time here. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for making our stay so special, we truly hope to come back again soon.

Fantastic stay at Sant Ignasi; lovely room with all amenities needed, padel and tennis courts together with a nice relaxing pool area, great breakfast with lots of options, super quiet too. The highlight though was the staff - really friendly, caring, with great local advice on beaches, restaurants and things to do. Would recommend a stay here!!

We have stayed at the hotel three times in a row since it was completely renovated in 2024.
The rooms , the buildings and the pool are simply beautiful, elegant, the overall vibe is authentic and understated luxury.
Faithfull fans of Menorca, having stayed and visited all of the premium hotels on the Island we were completely seduced by St Ignasi to the point that we organized our wedding there.
The hotel is a wonderful oasis close to Ciutadella, hiden in a peaceful and quiet corner.The garden,the pool, the restaurant (Smoix) are all contributing to the unique and authentic menorcan experience which is smoothly delivered.The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly, the padel and tennis courts are a great addition to the overall excellent level of service delivered at the right price.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring, with easy access to both beautiful beaches and the town of Ciutadella.

The recently renovated property was spotless. We stayed in a generously sized suite with a living area and both front and back terraces. Thoughtful amenities like daily complimentary water, robes, and slippers were a nice touch.

The gardens are tranquil and beautifully maintained. The large pool is warm and inviting, surrounded by comfortable loungers that offer afternoon shade. We also enjoyed the poolside bar, which serves snacks throughout the day, as well as the tennis and padel courts, which we used daily.

The on-site restaurant serves a very good dinner, though we found the portions a bit small and ended up dining in town most evenings. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great buffet and hot menu options.

The staff's service was exceptional—it felt like genuine five-star hospitality. They provided great local advice, making our experience truly special. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We really enjoyed the amazing renovated beautiful and peaceful hotel Ignasi in tranquil stunning natural surroundings, quiet nights in very comfortable beds and modern chique rooms. Special thanks to the amazing General Manager Romana and her kind, helpful and attentive team who went far and beyond to make our vacation top notch. The breakfasts are delicious and of the highest quality. with fresh products and the freshly brewed ristretto was my morning wakeup. The restaurant as well is haute fine cuisine, delicious and a feast for the mouth and the eyes. For sure a place to recommend highly, we truly loved it. Muchos gracias, Jan & Martina

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The location is ideal—close to some of the best beaches on both the north and south sides of the island. The property itself is tranquil and beautifully maintained. The pool is large and inviting, with comfortable loungers that offer shade in the afternoon—perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun or at the beach. The poolside bar is also a great touch. The on-site restaurant is a must-visit. The crayfish ravioli was one of the best dishes we had during our two-week stay on the island. Breakfast was generous, with a buffet and a variety of hot menu options.

We did encounter a slight issue with our room at the beginning of our stay. We had booked a Deluxe Terrace Suite but were initially placed in a room near the hotel entrance, which lacked the privacy and tranquility we were expecting. That particular room’s terrace was situated right beside the entrance and faced the parking lot, making it feel less secluded. From what I could tell, it seemed to be the only room in that category with this issue. Fortunately, the staff went above and beyond to resolve the situation, and we were moved to a proper Terrace Suite for the second half of our stay—which was absolutely amazing.

The level of service from the staff was exceptional—it genuinely felt like five-star hospitality. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. It was a truly special experience.

Fantastic hotel if you are looking for peace and tranquility. The hotel has had a complete renovation recently, all the rooms look spectacular, very clean and also air conditioned.

The staff is kind, attentive and accommodating. If Spanish is not your native language all of the staff during our visit spoke english very well.

In terms of facilities there is a new and very clean swimming pool surrounded by plenty of high quality sun beds. There is a brand new Padel and tennis court. Also a massage professional is working with the hotel.

This hotel has been transformed. It is now beautifully presented, exuding Menorcan chic. The interior is bright and airy - lots of white with natural fabrics. The pool area is beautiful and the planting in the grounds is really attractive. It's all very tastefully done and creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere as soon as you enter. Our room was fantastic - luxurious but also practical. The private terrace was such a chilled space. We enjoyed everything about the accommodation. The breakfast is great - fresh orange juice, good coffee, hot food made to order. The restaurant was also excellent, though the plates are on the small side. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. You couldn't really ask for much more for your stay. We would certainly recommend staying here. It's also very convenient for Cuitadella and the southern beaches.
