Here for 10 days and so far loving it. The pool area is brilliant, rooms are fantastic and the food has been fab, lits of choice and good quality. Staff have been very helpful dealing with some health/diet problems. Thanks for their help. X

Overall, the experience at Hotel Barceló was disappointing and not worth the high cost. Despite paying in advance there are limitations on using certain public areas, such as the rooftop pool, which requires an additional fee for access. The rooms are acceptable, but basic amenities like a complimentary bottle of water are not provided. Additionally, we had to be cautious with the furnishings, as they seemed fragile and of low quality.
We opted for the half-board option, but were surprised to find that drinks, including water, were not included and had to be paid for separately. The hotel feels very commercialized, and despite having everything booked in advance, we were still subjected to unexpected charges that made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I wouldn't recommend it given the extra costs and inconveniences.

We loved the wet, nice, and chill environment, and felt super relaxed from the moment we arrived. Our room had a sea view, which was very nice. The cleaning service was excellent. Design-wise, the rooms are compact but comfortable and modern. The bed was huge and comfortable.
Breakfast service was friendly and very diligent. Huge kudos to Marco—we had great training sessions with him. The gym is small but well-equipped, and he made the workouts efficient and fun for us.
One thing we didn't know was that the hotel doesn't have direct beach access. It was a bit surprising to learn that it's a 10-minute walk to the beach.

Frustrating as this hotel could be so much better if they just made a couple of changes to really put guests first.
Pros
- room spotlessly clean
- good breakfast
- comfortable, huge beds and quiet room (once the roof top bar music stops at midnight!)
- the deluxe room with terrace and side sea view was lovely as it got the evening sun and was perfect for peaceful sunbathing
- beautiful views
- spectacular nearby beach with lovely beach bars/lunch options
Cons
- We found the reception staff rude and unhelpful. I emailed before our trip about changing our room for an upgraded version (wanting to pay) and they didn't respond until after we had left
- No bathrobes in the room and when asked reception staff said we had to pay for them? Never heard of this before in a nice hotel, surely this is a cheap and easy win?
- the sunbeds were extremely uncomfortable and no cushions were provided. Again such an easy win for the comfort of guests.
- the swimming pools were freezing!
- would not recommend going for half board. The dinner buffet was extremely repetitive and food wasn't great. We were suprised only a 20% discount was offered to switch to one of their al a carte restaurants. Another easy win would be to offer a larger discount/ provide the ability to dine at one of these restaurants once per stay?
- no hotel beach area/sun loungers provided on beach
- no water provided in rooms- again such an easy win to assist with guest comfort
- sold as adults only but there was a baby there? Think the hotel needs to be stricter on this as often people chose an adults only hotel for a reason and expect to be confident that no children will be present.

Had a lovely stay,beautiful hotel and beautiful scenery 😍 The barman Mauro was excellent, always went out of his way and made the most amazing cocktails

Lovely accommodation, pool area and reception. Good service and v efficient. Breakfast and dinner buffet were OK- plenty of choice but not great on quality or flavour.

Amazing location and experience. The Hotel Staff is simply one of the best: very committed and sympathic. During my stay I was suffering health problems - Mar has helped me a lot. All of the staff always had a genuine smile on their face :)

Beautiful hotel with nice breakfast options. Could have been a little bit more food for the vegans and more options in the integrated restaurants which were pretty expensive on top. Great pool and calm outdoor area to chill and the beach is also very near. You need 30 mins of walking to reach the center of Conil.

you have many facilities in this hotel, such as a amazing cocktail b heaven bar! This was the best cocktail I have ever had!!!
The food from the buffet is also great, many options and every day something else to choose from.
There is a sky pool for premium, wich has a nice view over the hotel and the sea!!! You can relax on luxury beds and with a QR-code they will bring you drinks😄
We have also met the super friendly manager Lucia!
The staff in the hotel are super friendly! Rooms are clean!
