Ilunion Calas de Conil

Very rude poolside bar lady with short brown hair from the 80’s. Only one large bath towel for 2ppl. NO bottled water in the room, nothing in the mini bar, no toilet brush, reception never answered the phone at 7pm after many attempts - walked past it 10mins later and they had no guests. Only wait staff in the restaurant, there for you queue for a drink at the bar and all 20 tables on the terrace are filthy and it seemed it had not been swept in a few days. This hotel ticks the boxes for a 4 star in terms of amenities- good gym and pool. But it’s run like a 2-3 star hotel. Very cheap, so you do get what you pay for. Poolside snacks = a sad looking hotdog or ham and cheese sandwich. Okay for a stopover but would not stay for any length of time, the food was very basic and boring at the buffet. Next to nothing in a walking vicinity. Great sunset beach though.

The AC was not working properly and room was horrendous to sleep in as we were there in August! This hotel was not for adults and kids and families ONLY, but they need to tell you that on *********** or website. Also the parking was a complete issue and very vague. We upgraded to a sea view room and understood parking was included but had to pay upon checkout! This hotel needs better staff who are less incompetent and understand the customer has paid for a service! Overall: would NOT go back to this hotel in Conil!
