Hotel NOU Roma in Denia

Where do we start. Ok We live in Spain and regularly travel the country. This hotel is as good as any 4 or 5 star places we have stayed in. Probably it's small size limits it's star rating. On arrival we were met by 2 wonderfully pleasant and friendly ladies on reception. Checkin was smooth and painless, then one lady took us to our room, pointed out every feature of the room, gave us kisses and hugs then left us alone. The room itself was spotless , looked newly furnished and was only missing a kettle, which the lady offered us. The bathroom deserves a special mention. We decided to eat in the restaurant for dinner, normally we eat out, what a treat prime delicate fillet for one of us, a huge T bone for the other, accompanied by an excellent red. Being greedy we also did pudding and coffees . Overall wonderful price was 99€ Breakfast was if the same standard, vast array of hot and cold choices, fruits meats pastries basically everything one could want Over the best hotel we've ever stayed in.

"what a wonderful hotel, what a beautiful room, what an excellent breakfast, what a wonderful Host, what a delicious dinner!!" This is what I kept repeating throughout my stay. If you pass through Denia, stay here. You won't regret it. Super rating for Host Birhinia: friendly, elegant, professional and affectionate. And I still haven't been able to say how much it was to stay here. THANK YOU!!

Very very nice hotel
Location is great and staff are very friendly and made us feel as if we stayed a very long time while it was 24 hours, very spacious room and breakfast room is very nice as it has a lot of plants makes you feel you are in the garden!

Great room, great food, great stay
Beautiful hotel in old center of Denia. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Never had a more welcome greating from reception. Highly recommend

Just to report that this hotel is still super fine! It offers excellent service, a very cozy and beautiful building, parking space for 10 euros a night, brilliant breakfast and dinner - will come again if in the area. I liked everything about our stay.

Nou Roma was the ideal spot for our 60-person wedding in mid- September, with most guests flying in from abroad. The team at Nou Roma were super accommodating, working with us through multiple visits to bring our personalized wedding vision to life. A special thanks to Violetta, Belen, and Rosa—what an amazing team! From the start of our planning process, we felt supported, and always welcomed with warm smiles and attention to detail.

Our guests who stayed at the hotel during the week felt incredibly well cared for and loved the buffet breakfast. The hospitality on our wedding day was exceptional. We stayed in the spacious Suite BB, which was very clean, had modern design mixed with Spanish charm. It was a perfect space for the bridal party to get ready and it provided a lovely Mediterranean backdrop for photos, on the small terrace.

The food was lovely! Huge compliments to the chef—our guests raved about how delicious everything was, especially the paella. They thoughtfully accommodated our vegan guests and those with dietary restrictions, creating a separate menu that included personalized appetizers. Families with children were touched by the special toy added to the kids' ice cream desserts, a small but meaningful gesture that didn’t go unnoticed.

We loved the convenience of having everything in one place—amazing food, a boutique hotel, and a gorgeous ceremony space, all right in the heart of Denia. While a permit is required for loud music, the staff made the indoor dance party lively, even joining in and dancing while serving our drinks! The venue is a 5-minute walk to Calle del Mar’s lively bar scene (which was convenient for our after-party) and 2 minutes to Calle Loreto for a variety of food and tapas.

We were so impressed by how beautifully the venue was decorated with plants, glassware, and ceramics. We didn’t have to do much other than add our personal touches of a few flower arrangements and photos. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything was—the food, the drinks, all of it.

This venue truly feels like family to us now, and we can't wait to come back for anniversaries. We’ll forever be grateful for how they helped make our wedding day so special!

Nice hotel with a superior restaurant. Good location also in old town. I will come back!

Lovely Hotel , really impressed with the traditional feel .


For us little things let it down ,
1. Poor wifi reception
2. Coffee machine at breakfast looked old , and needed attention, so people were frustrated and queues were occurring.
3. No tea / coffee facilities in bedroom

I really enjoyed my stay here. My room was a little small, but comfortable. Breakfast was nice and relaxed. Staff were very helpful. Surrounded by the beautiful quaint streets of Denia.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old town, tapas bars, and the sea. The restaurant offers excellent food and service. The basic room was clean and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. I would recommend this hotel to others.
