Hotel Kaktus Albir

Very enjoyable experience. The staff in all quarters were lovely and reception staff very helpful. The room was very clean. The food was good but could have been hotter in some instances although was changed instantly when mentioned but not a lot of difference. Maybe a heat probe would be a good idea.

A large pleasant hotel situated just across from the beautiful beach in Albir . There is a large bar and outside
Terrace facing the bays .Staff are pleasant and efficient. Drinks are fairly priced and there is a wide range of cocktails , wines etc .
This hotel is also surrounded by a good choice of bars and restaurants

A delightful 2 night stay at this charming hotel. We walked passed it many times during previous stays in Albir. Although built in the last 15 years, the interior does have a 'retro' vibe.. eg wall2wall tiles&dark wood.
All staff excellent. Beautiful terrace with fabulous beach- view. We came back, after we departed, for drinks several times.
Our room was spacious, contained wardrobe, TV and a kitchenette but no crockery or utensils. Guess that's extra.
It would be great if the bath was removed and walk- in showers were introduced.
Unfortunately, the air con unit was poorly placed in the ceiling of the entrance to the room, and we could not get the full benefit of it in the bed area. It also did not reach 18c.
Breakfast buffet was lovely. Fresh cold and hot food. All types of milk available.
The rooftop has fab views, a small pool with sun bathing lounge areas, however the extractor fans from the kitchens, exit here. The fake turf there is getting old and can be a trip hazard. Vending machines available in reception and rooftop. Live music, DJ and singers were performing during our stay. A bigger pool would be a great addition for a proper swim. The gym has singular, basic equipment. No free weights. Close to all shops, restaurants, dedicated pedestrian beach walk to Altea. Cycle hire around the corner.

Awesome hotel with great entertainment and the best customer service! Pepe gave us an awesome room upon arrival. Our luggage was lost by the airline, and Ilia helped us by calling the airport and helping us get our luggage returned to us. Joseph was great, as well! He saw the distress we were under with no luggage, upgraded our room and gave us champagne. Jose the bartender spent each night making us drinks and having conversations with us that were so enlightening and fun. The nightly entertainment, location, and hotel are great, and we cannot wait to return to this hidden gem!

We came back to Hotel Kaktus for a second year and enjoyed it just as much. The hotel is comfortable, and has excellent facilities. The staff are all relaxed, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are of exceptional quality and there is a huge choice. I can recommend the seafood banquet on Friday nights which has a massive selection of seafood and is great value. The pool area is clean and comfortable, and I would like to give a special mention to Faran who made us delicious cocktails and looked after us so well! I miss Hotel Kaktus already, we will see you guys soon ❤️

Stayed here for a summers break/family visit.Hotels in a great location,beach opposite,not far to shops and restaurants.Hotel clean,rooms big,but bit old fashioned.Bar area nice but only catered for spanish bullroom dancers every night.Sitting on the terrace looking over the sea was great.Food was buffet style breakfast and evening meal,always something to eat,choice of fish meat salad etc.

Great location! Everything is convenient! And plenty of free parking nearby!

Nice, spacious hotel right at the seaside with rooms/balconies overlooking the sea. Swimming pool on the roof and in front of the hotel. Great choice of delicious food at breakfasf and dinner. Helpful staff.
