Port Denia

I stayed here on a Saga holiday. The hotel was very clean and room spacious but I had no balcony so marked down. Staff were friendly, helpful and hard working. Pool area is fairly small but well designed, it was good that inflatables were not allowed. I didn’t use the indoor pool.sunloungers were plentiful. The terrace area is small and many people smoked. There were many Spanish families staying which gave the hotel a good atmosphere. Location is good for the local beach, there is a bus stop nearby but buses only run every 2 hours and the town was too far for me to walk as I have mobility issues, I took a taxi in one day and had trouble getting one back. Food was plentiful with many choices, hot food had a canteen style but was perfectly edible. Pastries and bread were very fresh and there was salad and fruit. Wine was drinkable, cocktails on the all inclusive tasted weak, beer was tasty. All in all a good choice if you can walk into town which is about a mile.

Really enjoyed our two weeks here. Our room was perfectly adequate for us. Cleaned every day, including linen as required. As you would expect given the number of rooms, the restaurant had busy times, but it was not an inconvenience at all. There was plenty of choice at each mealtime, and the staff went above and beyond to meet everyone's needs. Could not praise them highly enough. The management should be justifiably proud of their entire staff.

I have just been on my first Saga holiday and i stayed at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean the staff were friendly and the food was fantastic so much choice for breakfast lunch and dinner. There was plenty of sunbeds round the pool so I always got one which was great. I had a lovely room which for a single room as I traveled alone was huge. I had a balcony and over looked the pool which was great. There was entertainment each night which was also good too. It is a bit out from town but close to the marina a short walk where there was lovely bars and cafe's. I went on two trips one to the market and one to a show at Benidorm Palace which was great night out. But the best thing about this holiday was the two Saga reps who were amazing so friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble for them. I will most definitely be going on more Saga Holidays in the future and back to this hotel again. 😁

This hotel was ideal for us as a family. Location was perfect, 5 minutes from the beach, 20 minute walk from Denia centre.
The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. All the staff were very attentive. The food was repetitive, however, there is so much to choose from it really isn't a problem, the snack bar was a god send for our teenager son!!!
The pool is great, that area was always clean too.
The entertainment and games were good and there was a variety for all ages!
Such a great holiday. Well done Port Denia for such a great, well run hotel!

Second holiday at Hotel Port Denia and just as enjoyable as last year .Rooms very nice but a little updating would be nice. Service thrpughout the hotel could not be better. Everyone very helpful and pleasant . We love the location just enough to see and do. A very good holiday all round

Impressed with the hotel in general.
Lovely staff, always pleasant & helpful. A well run reception always manned, no issue was too much trouble.
Bedrooms fairly well appointed although drawer space was limited. Access to the safe could have been easier. Bathroom was excellent. We found once we had used the cups for tea/coffee they were not replaced which seemed strange!
The restaurant was very good for Breakfast & lunch but only scored average for evening meals - the microwaves spotted around the room were needed since the food served could be lukewarm at times! The bar was excellent although the lounge could be very noisy and it was difficult to find somewhere quiet for a chat.
We were with Saga on a cyclist/walking holiday although only cycled for a couple of days - all was well appointed there. The Saga rep. Sylvia was excellent at all times.

I find Hotel Port Denia so good I keep returning, something I hadn’t done until I came here. All the staff are great without exception. Good food and a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel and at a very reasonable price. The Saga reps, Silvia and Dave go the extra mile to make sure their guests are well cared for. I have already booked my next two trips to make sure I am able to return as the hotel gets booked well in advance. The area is good and Denia is a lovely Spanish town with plenty to do and see and the tram makes getting to several other places easy.
