What a wonderful authentic Spanish hotel. Lovingly kept and very friendly staff (thank you Andrea). Extremely clean, big room, comfy beds & pillows, and rooms are quiet too. It’s next to the beach and quick walk into town. We loved our stay!

The Rosa is located a couple of kilometres north of the port/ old town in Denia in a pleasant beachside suburb. The hotel offers private parking and direct access to a pleasant, quiet section of the beach. Bedrooms are arranged on the two upper floors with lift access and are a good size with balconies. The decor is distinctive and works well in some places, corridors etc, but could do with a bit of upgrading in the bathrooms. Shower worked fine, air conditioning too. The swimming pool is also nice with a limited number of pool-side loungers. A good breakfast was included and can be taken outdoors. The buffet area for the breakfast is small and crammed into a corner which makes access to food, coffee, fruit juice difficult.

Friendly professional staff, perfect location to enjoy the city of Denia and wonderful beach a few hundred yards along a private path from the hotel. although I already knew of the hotel having lived in Denia for many years it exceeded on all expectations… during my trip I have already booked the same room for 3 months time … what more can you say !

Beautiful small hotel close to the beach, and also walking distance (2 km) to Denia. We enjoyed our stay very much. A lot of restaurants in walking distance.

I stayed with my son and his daughter. This is such a lovely hotel. We were very comfortable in our rooms. It’s a very tranquil place to stay. Will definitely come back.

Traditional family run hotel established in 1970. Situated just yards from an excellent beach with private access. Just 15 to 20 minutes level walk along beach or road to the centre of Denia. Hotel manager and staff extremely friendly and always welcoming. We had an initial issue in that our room, a bungalow, was not fitted with a safe. This was despite website saying otherwise. Issue speedily rectified. The room had been recently been refurbished and the safe had not been re installed. Public areas and bedrooms spotless. Breakfast excellent comprising a wide range of hot and cold offerings. The hotel restaurant offered an exceptional evening menu based around a four course Spanish gourmet meal at just €18.90 per person including water at the table. Food quality and presentation faultless. So much so we ate in 9 of our 11 nights! Hotel Rosa proved to be an "absolute gem" of a find and extremely reasonably priced. Several guests seemed to be repeaters. We can easily see why! Will certainly look to return.

Everything about Hotel Rosa was pleasing. Excellent value for money, lovely staff and food was delicious. Nice swimming pool and good location by the beach.

Have stayed here many times, traditional Spanish, very clean, good food especially breakfast and the most friendly staff. On the beach and very close to some handy shops. A gourmet menu every day, I would just like to see a list of the alternative menu!

I loved this place! I saw some other reviews complaining about the old-fashioned decor but I don't know what these people want. They don't appreciate qualify, apparently. I suppose they would never like to visit Versailles either--"too old". This place is beautiful and spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay at. Real marble floors and solid furniture in a very generously sized room and bathroom. Balcony. Views of the sea. The staff is so kind and speaks so many languages. The restaurant was very good-- the duck and mushroom paella I had for dinner was one of the best meals I had in 2 weeks in Spain. There is a tennis court and pool, wonderful grounds. For people who can discern quality there is just a wonderful vibe here. Although old-fashioned, nothing is musty, dirty, or in any way off-putting. Places like this are few and far-between these days. It is a gem and I can't wait to return with my whole family for a week-long trip.
