Hotel 44

I recently stayed at Hotell 44 in Gijon, and overall, it was an average experience. The room and washroom met expectations with a comfortable setup. However, I encountered a minor inconvenience during my bath – water seeping onto the floor, which was a bit unpleasant. Unfortunately, I forgot to capture it in pictures, but it's worth noting for future guests.

Dinner at the hotel offered a standout moment with a delightful fish soup. While this dish was a highlight, other dinner options left something to be desired for my taste. It's a subjective matter, but it's worth considering for those with specific culinary preferences.

The hotel staff were a definite positive, showcasing genuine friendliness. However, communication proved challenging as English wasn't well-spoken among the staff. Despite this language barrier, their warmth and eagerness to assist were evident.

One notable issue during my stay was the shortage of paper serviettes, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there were no drinking water bottles in the rooms.

As for breakfast, it provided a pleasant start to the day with a variety of options to choose from. Overall, Hotell 44 offers a decent stay with a few nuances to keep in mind. It's a suitable choice for those looking for a comfortable stay with some room for improvement in certain aspects.

Limpiar un poco más está muy sucio la calidad precio es impresentable, mobiliario roto, le sobran las estrellas parece una pensión y la moqueta está muy sucia. Le darían las estrellas hace 25 años cuando lo abrieron. Los trabajadores excepcionales eso si.

Hemos cogido este hotel porque no había disponibilidad en otros hoteles, nos clavaron casi 300 euros por una noche,una habitación para una familia de 4 personas. Este hotel tiene buena ubicación pero parece que estás en los años 70.. todo muy viejo. Los armarios no se podían abrir, los colchones muy malos , la bañera daba sensación q se va a caer a pedazos . 2 paquetitos de gel y 2 jabones, unas mantas viejas q daba cosa taparte con ellas. El aire acondicionado hacía ruido .. pero no sé si funcionaba. No tiene garaje. No sé ni cómo tiene 3 estrellas .
