Nice place with friendly staff and located nice from what ever direction you walking.
Great room, friendly service, parking on site. You are close to the beach but about half an hour's walk from the historic centre.
We enjoyed our stay there. The rooms were clean l. However, the smell of the cleaning products they use is not pleasant. The shower pressure was very good. The bathroom is a good size. The room isn't very big though. The location is very good, the beach is a walking distance and there is plenty of cafés and shops around us. Opposite the hotel there is a nice park with a big cage that have different...
Nice hotel in a good location (approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach). Rooms are clean & today but slightly sterile. It is quiet even when the room is situated beside the lift. Underground parking available at 16 Euros per night. There are restaurants, cafés and supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk.
Very nice, went on a business trip. Sea food here is not suitable for South Asians.
I have only been to the cafe on the ground floor. It is a quiet and spacious place. I have been a few times with my father and they have generous coffee cups. It is a bit more expensive but uf tranquility might just be what you need, this is your place. Because it is a hotel, it tends to intimidate people, hence it being a quiet place. If the tapa with the drink was a bit better, it would be 5 star...

Come for the restaurant (see photos). Had a really good dinner tonight at its on-site restaurant. The hotel has a nostalgic feels to it. Secure underground parking. Good customer service, thank you for a relaxing night esp after a quiet stroll by the beachfronts
It's not a bad place but when you specify on booking or agoda a queen bed room, and that you get a room with 2 small separated beds, your girlfriend get upset for sure ! Don't know who to blame but the girl at reception was not really cooperative.
Nice and clean hotel. Size was a bit much, made me feel unforgettable. Location is good, walk for a few minutes and you are at the beach.
It's a nice hotel in a peaceful envirorment really close to the best city views. The restaurant covers a wide variety of the spanish gastronomy with a professional service to serve you. A nice place for a social dinner with your working mates.

Rated as a 4 star hotel. Is anything but 4, maybe between 2 and 3. Very old and need of some maintenance. No shower door, no bottled water in room. Towels of very low quality, thin., place was clean. Location was its only asset.
Friendly service, tidy and clean hotel.
nice experience staying with heritage hotel over looking the Mayro Square, and loved balcony
We spent the night here and the hotel has the old charm feel. Beautiful staircase takes you up to your rooms. Lots of floor creaks but, in my opinion, adds to the charm. We chose to eat elsewhere for breakfast but came back for lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food and service was perfect. This is a perfect honeymoon location. We are from California USA and loved Gijon. El Mar Cantabrico se...
Fantastic Hotel!!! Clean rooms, super friendly staff, great room views and close to everything you will want to visit..
The hotel is in the best location of Gijón, The "Plaza Mayor", in the center of the city, near many interesting historic places. The building is old, but the facilities are very good, the service is kind and attentive and the overall quality is very, very good. The breakfast is small but better than most hotels, and definitively worth the small price they charge.

Gijon, Avenida de Oviedo, 15 🧭 Map
Surprisingly disappointing for an AC Marriott. Found ants all over the bed — worse than some 3-star hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s hard to understand why no pest control has been done. After this experience, I won’t be booking AC hotels again
We used this hotel as a stopover while driving to Portugal so it was conveniently located shortly off the highway. It was clean, staff were helpful. Check in was easy. Food was good.
Serv8ce was excelent, the one exception was that air conditioner didn't work to cool the room, even hav8ng the window open.
The hotel was great. Spacious room with super friendly staff. The dining options at the restaurant were great, and the waiter was super friendly too. You can skip the breakfast buffet.
It was a good stay. Clean rooms, basic amenities like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, clean towels. Located close to the highway. All reception staff spoke enough English to communicate with us. Will stay again if I’m in the area. The front parking lot is free. They have a rear, gated parking lot with enough stalls and an underground lot with few stalls and 4 electric vehicles stalls...
Very cozy hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Rooms clean, quite spacious. Worth recommending.

We really liked the hotel. The location was great. They need more rooms with showers. We asked if they could give us the only room with a shower, but they gave us one. We booked without breakfast because it seems too expensive at 12 euros per person per night. I would put a mirror in the room. There aren't any. And there's enough wall space to put one. Otherwise, I would definitely return.
Rooms nice and clean. Similar to a premier inn. Location right on the beach. Didn’t have breakfast but located on the top floor with great views. Parking next door in a managed underground location for an additional cost but super close.
Front line sea view room with all mod cons, shops, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc behind the hotel. Lovely promenade for a walk into the old town of Gijón.
Close to the sea, convenient, overall good.
Super good location, incredible views, quiet, clean, super fast check in and check out. Very good service.
Need to change room, first room had smoking odors other than that everything else was good

Quiet, good breakfast, very near to the centre of the old town and the beach
Room is clean and tidy, and people are very nice to you, breakfast is good, too, etc. I will stay at this hotel next time. Thank you for your services.
A historical building , magnificent interior and architecture. The place is very well maintained and very professional stuff .... from the reception till the housekeeping !!! The price for the rooms are very reasonable and worth it !!! I was amazed how happy I felt here after trying several hotels in Gijon. It's in the center of everything !!! I would chose this hotel everything I go to Gijon.
Great location but walls a bit thin
Big and clean room and bathroom
The Hotel lives up to it's four stars. Reception is helpful, made reservations for us. Rooms are clean, spacious with exceptionally large bathrooms. Nice climate controls and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast at 10 euro. Central location adjacent to restaurants, central mercado, etc. Highly recommend.

Got a bargain here, what a gem to stay at. Great spa and pool, gym, not into golf but looks great ! Lovely clean rooms and showers great ! Easy to park. Air con in rooms, restaurant looks amazing and off to try the food which looks great value.
Motorcycle Tour - I selected this place for a two day rest stop whilst waiting on friends to come in by ferry and was absolutely happy with my choice. A lovely location with a really nice restaurant. Quiet.
Went there for food only with friends right after the spa. Amazing prices, Amazing staff, and the food is outstanding. Over all if could I would definitely be coming over regularly.🥂
The hotel is very nice. Dining room is beautiful as well as the surroundings being in the middle of a golf course. Rooms and shower good and very clean my only critic the windows in the rooms open just a fraction!

The hotel is super! The location of the hotel is excellent. If you are arriving by coach it is about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. It is also around a 15 minute walk to the beach and city. Very comfortable rooms and spotlessly clean. Each room has a mini fridge, a/c and good quality bathroom amenities. The staff we met were all charming, especially the gentleman on reception, I am sorry I did...
Very large and clean room with a small balcony. Design is modern, facility is new and price is cheap. I really want to give a five star. The missing star for my review is for the insects in my room. I killed three mosquitoes and two moths during my one night stay. I guess the insects nested in bathroom drain which needs a deep cleaning, because the room is on floor 8 and most flies and mosquitoes...
Very convenient location and the room was fine - except the bathroom. Looked very swish but was all style and no substance - water went everywhere under the screen and soaked the whole place! Breakfast was ok but the best thing - hotel had a garage. €15 a day but necessary in Gijon.
This is a really great little boutique-y hotel in the very center of Gijón, Galicia (NW Spain). We booked two rooms last-minute and they were both very nice, but the junior suite, for 3 people, definitely exceeded expectations. It was large, clean, and very comfortable for 3 (or more, really), with a little balcony overlooking the town. Parking is easy at a public garage a short walk away. The garage...
Clean hotel and convenient location for my friend. I booked this for someone else. Although I didn't stay there myself, my friends who came back said it was very good. It's a pity that I can't send pictures. I will stay there next time if I have a chance.
Hotel is great. Cost benefit, location, room size are some positive aspects. If you are going by car, make sure to book the parking - a bit narrow to access but medium / big cars can make it. Staff also is super kindly and supportive.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s an old converted water mill on the edge of town, with a lovely walk along the beach promenade to get to the centre. Wonderful Parador in great location for park, beach and shopping/eating/drinking. Loved Gijon.
Great old-fashioned looking hotel but with all the mod-cons. Super service in the bar from the efficient and friendly waiter.

This hotel is very well located but because of the location we got no sleep because of the noise. It was Saturday night so maybe that didn’t help. There was no working air conditioning and it was very hot in the room but too noisy outside to sleep with the windows open. There was no safe or kettle in the room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was over the bath . Breakfast was buffet style...
The bed was very comfortable, the cleaning in the room was very good. The worst thing was the temperature of the room that seemed like a sauna, we had to sleep with the windows half open. We were disappointedly told that the temperature was the same for everyone and that it could not be changed. For the rest of ten and a very friendly staff.
Good 4* hotel in the center of Oviedo. Tastefully remodeled rooms, although maintenance could be a little better. It would be enough to fix the small defects to give a better image. Otherwise, they are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is only open for events. Very complete buffet breakfast. Parking with chargers for electric cars.
Recently stayed here for a few days. Location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes walk to the old town. However, if travelling by train/bus, it’s about 15 mins walk (with luggage). This hotel is located close to everything. There is a supermarket nearby, there are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby too. A bit dated in the interior, but overall okay stay. Great location - very close walking distance to the city centre and old town. There is parking available for 12€ per day. Was a lovely stay, very clean, lovely staff but not a four star. There wasn't any kettle (tea or coffee) in the room like most hotels do, even two stars. As a four star, I thought there would be something for the children, example: pool table and so on. But apart from that, was lovely.
Possibly the nicest staff member at reception I have ever met in any hotel anywhere. I don’t know her name but her manager will, which is the most important thing really. Date of stay: 8 /9 Sept 2024. She should be a senior manager in this hotel group as she has effortless natural skills when it comes to welcoming and helping guests. The hotel is perfect for a stay in Oviedo. Everyone at reception was friendly and helpful. I had to change my plans and cut my stay short but they had no problem with making that change for me. Comfortable hotel and friendly/helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean but we found it a little too warm. The hotel could do with an update as the decor is a bit outdated. Some very good places to eat near-by. Great to have a swimming pool/sauna available. Not close to the center but easy to get to with buses or a 20/25min walk.
The family room is ample for 3-4 people. Good service and close to Fernandez Vega for eye appointments.
We loved our stay in Silken Monumental Naranco. The hotel is located towards the outside of the city, surrounded by bars and restaurants nearby.
