Muy buena ubicación, al lado de la playa de San Lorenzo, muy cerca del parque de exposiciones y del Molinon

We recently stayed at Abba Playa during our Spain vacation and were very happy with the customer service. Our front desk Manager Mr.Miguel and his partner(sorry didn't get his name) at front desk were extremely kind. We had an early morning flight and I asked him if he could provide us with some creamer for coffee. He went above and beyond and offered to pack us picnic for our flight since we would be missing the morning breakfast and he also made sure that he had hot milk waiting for us early in the morning for our coffee. This was exceptional customer service.
The rooms were nice and large and very clean. The beds could have been a little bit more comfortable, but it was not very bad.
We also had dinner at Abba Mia, their restaurant and it was very good.
The hotel is very centrally located and the famous San Lorenzo beach is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Gijon.

Amazing experience, the room (3 persons) was quite spacious and luxurious. I was amazed to check several options of pillows available in the booklet, adapted to the customers' needs. I've never read one with such pertinent and synthesized information, by far the best hotel booklet I've ever found.

Upon arrival on the breakfast (18th September) I was greeted with the most amazing "Buenos dias" from Miss Flor. Always smiling, I've noticed that she managed all stations, very proactive, reactive and multitask, she even got the time to interact with some customers. I must praise the high standard service of this staff member, thus I've contacted the manager of the Breakfast area to let him know about Miss Flor's excellent performance.

Regarding the check-in staff, the 17th September (around 5pm) the agent did not have a good level of English, once I requested her some information about the Abbantage Card, however the check-in agent I've found the 18th September was quite professional with a profound knowledge about the Abba advantage card, being able to clarify all my questions and demands upon check-out.

The swimming pool was closed, for the month of September it is rather deceiving, that's the only thumbs down of my stay.

Excellent location across from beach, garage psrking a blessing if you travel with car. Reception, friendly, helpful.

La ubicación en plena playa de San Lorenzo es inmejorable. El hotel muy confortable y con piscina agradable

I liked the hotel overall. Parking is definitely a bit expensive for 20 euro per day. The breakfast is great. My room had two single beds joined which I don't prefer.
The room was a bit noisy when there was a storm outside. Otherwise it was comfortable.
