The food is fantastic—definitely not the usual tourist stuff, but dishes made with real care. The chef, Lorenzo, even came to our table to make sure everything was perfect.
Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a great meal in a nice spot.
Therefore, we decided to rather not return again.
Please see below a list of positive and negative observations during our stays:
food served was tasty
staff were very friendly overall
bathrooms in good condition
hotel pools and garden are real highlights
- some staff seem to lack service orientation and seemed a little too unmotivated in their roles
- pigeons are lovely animals and a symbol of peace - however, observing daily and frequent fights of up to 5 pigeons on different breakfast tables around us was too much. Removing all leftover foods as soon as guests have left and not only after breakfast is closed would help a lot to prevent this sort of entertainment.
- one night we found a cockroach in our room. Reporting this at the reception we were told the cockroach was removed from the room - when we returned it was still there, happy and healthy, so this statement was a lie. Our impression was that staff did not take our issue seriously. The next day we found a dead cockroach in the corridor which remained there until our departure 2 days later.

Third time here. Lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries, with very friendly staff and excellent food.
