Padron, Ctra. N-550, S/N 🧭 Map
It’s perfectly fine for spending the night while walking the camino, there are a lot of options for breakfast and overall it was a good experience
Nice hotel in Padron with air conditioning. Very nice staff at reception. Good value for money.
A bike friendly hotel for those doing the Caminho. You can store your bike in the lower service area securely. The staff was fry and there is a cafe and restaurant on site that allowed us to get food when we arrived without having to go back out in the rain. The breakfast was served early with lots of continental options.
Large modern hotel, conveniently located to the camino route. Overwhelmed somewhat by the very large number of guests, apart from camino walkers, Portuguese school football teams, and coach tours, making meal times somewhat institutional. It's saving grace was a nearby outdoor swimming pool with no staff, no umbrellas, (maybe 28 degrees in May is not expected) but so refreshing. Could do a lot better...
Comfortable hotel albeit bedroom is old fashioned, shower was fine. Friendly reception team. The food was good on my last visit & Marcos, the Head Waiter, is a great guy. Good choice for pilgrims as Camino de Santiago passes it.
It was pretty good in terms of location and convenience to Santiago pilgrim walk. Simple breakfast served. Staffs are nice and bar in the lobby was good

Padron, Maruxa Villanueva, S/N 🧭 Map
Walking El Camino from Porto I was in a lot of different hotels but this was the best for his price. The room was large and clean. In the price included good breakfast. The hotel is located across railway station , with no noise from the trains but good possibility to explore other towns by train.
Charming service and a pleasure to stay there. It is very near delightful gardens and the Rosalia de Castro museum. Food wholesome and very reasonable.
This two star hotel deserves a four star review. Our group of five pilgrims found this hotel clean, comfortable and the service was exceptional. Alisa took great care of us at dinner and breakfast and gave us directions on what we must see in Padron. It is true the hotel is very close to the train station but it’s not the long cargo trains us Canadians are accustomed to but rather a quick and quiet...
Went on the camino and was the worst value place I stayed. Out of town and generally just a bit grim. Food was bad too. That said, I'm not sure Padron has many options

A very good stay, good environment, large room, clean, and great service! The hotel owner likes to collect art, so it feels like the hotel is also a museum. I will stay again if I come
Great place but the pool is not open to all guest.
Unfortunately, we didn’t check to see that the pool was available to guests without a reservation. Seems strange that they highlighted photos of the pool but you have to make a reservation and pay a fee to use the pool, for a limited time. The pool and hot tub are within the Spa. Nice quality property with friendly and helpful staff. Area is nicely wooded with a stream running along a walking path. We walked into old town and the cathedral 2.2 miles without issue. Food was good quality and reasonably priced!

Lines to check in. Rooms were clean, beds good and AC works really good. Guy at the bar super cool.
This hotel is not small in this town. The location is quite convenient, and you can walk to the center. It happened to be a major power outage in Spain, so the hotel provided us with instant noodles.
A nice reception and friendly helpful staff.
The room was a reasonable size with a king-size bed, but the mattress was hard.
Parking available below the hotel is 12 € per day.
Out-of-town location. About 30 minutes walk to the cathedral.
Nice hotel with its own parking. Breakfasts on the top floor with a beautiful view. The room is nice and clean.
Our stay here was very good ! The team at the reception and reservation are very kind ! Gabriela is very kind and friendly! Also the Carlos at the reservation team ! Everyone kind and always ready to help ! Service 5 Stars !
A fantastic hotel that instantly reminded me of the elegant decor from the movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The blend of classic charm with modern touches creates a unique atmosphere. Overall great hotel!
The common areas are clean and modern, and the staff is very helpful and polite!
The breakfast buffet is good, nothing exceptional but great when you don't want to leave the hotel.
The rooms are good, spacious. The walls are a bit thin, we could hear chatter from the neighbours. It wasn't an issue for us but its something to keep in mind.

I loved the hotel. We booked a double room for one night and enough to say I would come back again. Super clean, newly renovated, excellent location. The bathroom had two sinks which we found super handy however the only tiny fault I would say is the shower. It was an open shower with a big glass as a shower screen and the level of the shower was slightly higher than the floor so water can still spill...

The location was good, it takes 10 minutes of walking to the old town. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. As for the room I had the worst bedbug experience here. Very accommodating staff at the reception. The staff even offered to look after my stuff since I had to look around the city before I flew back to Ireland.
Excellent hotel in the centre of santiago .Very clean and comfortable and very efficient, helpful staff .
Room clean and comfy. During the stay, there are contractor working outside on other room or floor. The smell of the chemical very strong. The reception shouldnt rent out the room on that floor because of the strong smell on that floor. During the check in they didnt explain about some work going on. Either the wall so thin or the door because i can hear all the contractor talking among them.
Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Location is excellent for a short walk into the town and as a coeliac the breakfast staff were very helpful with my dietary needs

I found the staff wonderful! Luis and Jose were exceptionally kind and extremely helpful to me. the Hotel Windsor has extremely good energy, lovely housekeeping staff, the bed was great & it is a beautiful building; very clean & well maintained. I had a bathtub! 😁
The property offers clean, well maintained rooms, that are quite basic. There is no safe, iron nor tea/coffee provision in the room. The location is great though; a 10m walk from the Cathedral with plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfast costs only €5 pp, with cereal, bread, fruits and coffee. Overall good value.
Nice, simple, good value hotel
Super location with well presented and clean rooms. Air conditioning was very good and near silent, powerful shower. Breakfast included fruit, yogurt and cheese which was good to have many places just serve sugary things.
Good budget hotel with excellent location, 10 min walk to city centre, 10 min walk to train station, helpful staff

This is advertised as 5 star hotel. It is not. There were no basic coffee/tea making facility in the room & only a basic shower over bath in the bathroom. Hairdrier did not work in our room and took a long time to get fixed. It has a beautiful foyer & a nice pool area (pool is uniformly deep however) & the service was generally very good. Location is pretty close to the Old Town.
Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here in 2012 after walking the Camino. It was great then and is still great.
Booked this cause after the Camino I wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. Photo of the pool is below. Otherwise a perfectly pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing. The continental breakfast was good - croissants, fruit , juice coffee & cold meats. The room was small and located in the roof space which made it very hot and the shower space was so small it was difficult to turn around.

Very good location, only 5 minutes walk from the old city. Room clean, but very small. A lot of noise from the people during the night, because very close to the hotel there is a bar and the windows from the hotel are no soundproofing, you could hear everything. Very impressed by the breakfast service. They provided gluten free tostada and explained all else. Good cafe con Leche. Would move this to a 5 if the air-conditioning was better (set temp to 15 and fan to 3 but didn't seem to achieve much temp change) or if a good fan was available in the room. We are going to stay here again ( have already booked).

Pretty nice hotel with good sized rooms for our one night visit to Santiago de Compostela. The manager was nice enough to accommodate us even though I made some booking errors online. Paid underground parking garage was one minute away but tricky to get in and out.
The hotel is in a great location. The building and room size are good but the quality of the bed, pillows and duvets was poor so I could not sleep well. The gym is pretty bad. The breakfast was not worth it, the products they offered were mainly sugary ultra processed food and bad quality cheese, and dry meat. The coffee was bad too.

Great location just in the old town. The room looked clean, though a bit old. when you enter the building it smells but not the room. Great value for money. The hotel is poorly soundproofed and therefore you hear every step of the other guests, especially in the very early morning when they leave and the cleaning crew.
Excellent, clean, great location, excellent shower. Very helpful receptionist.
We were a stone throw away from the Cathedral and the esplanade. It was perfect. We had a rental car and there was a 24 hour parking on the Plaza de Galicia which was the closes to the hotel. Rooms were great and hotel is well placed. Our group checked out this morning and the receptionist/breakfast lady was irritable as if we were in her way. We were well within serving time. It made our group feel uncomfortable.
After the Camino, this hotel was perfect. The rooms are comfortable. The shower is excellent. The breakfast is not as elaborate as many hotels. The road is very steep outside this hotel, so you will need to walk another hill. But you should be used to it by now.
We unfortunately had only one night there as we had to leave early because of a death in the family but everything was great at the hotel
It was clean and welcoming with very good access to the city center and bus station, which drives to and from the airport. The room was quiet and comforting, and the breakfast was quite fulfilling. The receptionist was a nice and kind lady who helped us a lot and guided us with our questions. It's very price-worthy.
Great parking. Water pressure was AMAZING! Staff extra sweet. Beds fluffy and comfortable! Highly recommend. Short walk to Santiago de Compostela!
I would have given it a 4 star if only the staff wasn’t rude, there was an obvious lack of hospitality even when you ask simple questions, or when 2 different employees give you contradicting responses!
Other than that the location is very convenient, and the parking is included, which are 2 nice advantages
