Eurostars Gran Hotel Santiago

Room is nice, but a 2 stars hotel room, doors are as per photo. A/C is not working, it makes an awful squeaky noise even with earplugs you cannot sleep. The window opens but you cannot sleep with the avenue of 4 lanes around and the summer heat. Also the internal corridor balcony does not work since the voices and noise from lobby and bar are heard in the rooms. The elevators take too long to reach you and have a disagreeable odor. The corridors’ carpets have patches of discoloration. Needs immediately renovation. Would NOT recommend AT ALL!

Very tired rooms that neeed refurbishment years ago. Not even basic maintenance being done.
Terrible value for money and just a poor experience all round.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Room was awful. Extremely hot and the air conditioning did not work. We complained about it but the room was at least 75-80°F and there was no attempt to move us or fix it. Parking was an absolute nightmare with how tight it is. Would not stay again or recommend.

No working air conditioner and Room is 40 degrees Celsius. Rooms are nice, but I would give it two stars to this hotels not five.

Terrible service. Called for assistance with a taxi from the bus station, no answer. Waited to order room service at 8:00 pm as indicated on the menu. Called for 10 minutes, no answer. Went downstairs and I was told I had to wait until 9:30 pm to order once the group that was sitting at the tables were done eating. No one was eating. I went for takeout at a nearby restaurant and returned 25 minutes later, not one person was eating. Absolutely disgusting!!!

The window in our room did not close properly, noice from the street can be heard inside.
At breakfast time, they won’t let you take a fruit with you; you eat it there or nothing.
Not a very friendly place to stay; would not recommend it.
Also, the garage’s entrance is very narrow as is the garage itself.
