Reviews
I cannot in good faith recommend this establisment despite the fact that it is nicely located.
The fact of the matter is our jewelry was stolen out of our room in August 2025 when we left the room for an hour for a quick lunch. Instead of enjoying a nice vacation, we let our guard down for an hour and due to unscrupulous individuals we got to spend a day at the police station filling out affadavits and doing interviews with cops and hotel staff.
The manager downloaded the key swipe log of our room, and, during my conversation with the police detective we spoke to, the only people who entered the room when the items were stolen was the housekeeping staff.
While hotel management was contrite, I will not be a repeat customer.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, they acknowledged our request but still gave us a different room. There was no explanation or sincere apology—just a simple statement that this was the room available. It felt like our message had been completely ignored, despite how specific and personal it was.
This had a real impact on our experience. We had been looking forward to this trip for months, and to have our one request disregarded, especially on a meaningful date, was really disappointing.
Hotels often talk about attention to detail and personalized service, but in this case, it felt like the opposite. We left feeling let down and won’t be returning.
Just so you know what are you getting yourself into. The location of the place was great. It was clean, But unfortunately the hospitality no so good. They sent you a super welcoming message that for the price of the hotel you are happy to get.
I walked the camino from Burgos to Compostela 500+ km. I wanted to treat myself with a nice place to stay at the end of my journey, which i did. I thought i did..
Walking for days, tired, in pain. I dragged myself to the supermarket, got some food, wine and water.. when i got to my room, i called reception to get a wine opener. They said i needed to get it myself... i had to go and find it in the cafeteria of the hotel.. and hang up. Okay.. i went and looked for it. The lady at the cafeteria said to me: - you need to bring me the wine.. this is the only wine opener i have- if i give it to you where do i find another one?!- i looked at her, i couldn't believe it! I just wanted to open by bottle of wine. Had to came back to my room. No strength to have an argument. i just said to her that I won't even think about asking for towels.. because i would probably have to go to the laundry room and even folded myself.
Some people at the reception were nice..but the guys in the afternoon.. they just don't care. I was planning to stay a second night, but i couldn't stand it.
If you are looking for a central place. Decent, pricey, but not so welcoming when you are there.. get this place.
