From the first moment arriving at the Rosa Del Mar and being greeted by the ladies at Reception, you are made to feel so welcomed. All the staff are so friendly and happy and I am guessing this goes in hand with the Great Place To Work notice in the Reception area. The hotel is bright, very clean and geared up for families. Our room was spacious, modern and bright. The bed was so comfortable. There are plenty of sunbeds. The water in the outside swimming pool isn't heated - but then this is often the case. The one area I feel was a letdown was the restaurant. To my mind, the design could have been better and the restaurant should be larger. For a hotel of this size, to have the buffet arrangements 'along the wall', instead of 'islands', is a restriction. Queues formed for the cold buffet, with people joining that queue, even though they only wanted the hot buffet (which is immediately after the cold buffet). All the plates are cold (and kept on shelves under the counters, as no space for the usual heated dispensers) and with food only being warm at best, this was disappointing. We also felt there could have been more variety. On a personal level, all hotels I have previously visited abroad, have a dedicated chef stationed to cook individual omelettes (with choice of different fillings) for guests. This isn't the case here - again I feel maybe due to a lack of space. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rosa Del Mar and the very enthusiastic entertainment for both the youngsters and adults was good. As I say the staff are brilliant, but a special mention to Pablo and Eva - great assets to the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here - lots of positives... but will get my only negative out the way first, and it only really applies to guests with very small children otherwise amazing stay. The room(s) we stayed in we didnt feel was child friendly from a toddlers perspective! far too many furniture sharp edges at head height and no lock/latch on the bathroom door for our 1.5 year old. A big heavy glass door into the bathroom that opens inwards easily and once closed can only be pulled open via a small handle out of reach allowing a toddler to get stuck inside. Recommend bringing some corner protectors with you, and keep an eye on little ones getting stuck in the bathroom. Now the positives. Staff are all super friendly in every department. The hotel is spotless and well maintained. Nice size pools - childrens pools and slides are great, we loved it around 'Sensiland' pools. Adequate sun beds (we did go end of September so might be different peak season). Food was really good, better than I expected to be honest as we ate here pretty much every night and breakfast had a good selection. All good quality and freshly cooked. Location wise its perfect to explore Palma Nova, the beach is a few mins away as is Magaluf if you prefer a bit more nightlife. Nice Aldi 5 mins away too. 20-30mins transfer/taxi to airport. I would deffinitately recommend and stay again.

This was our 5th time at this hotel. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach and prom. Staff are lovely, especially the staff we encountered at check-in and check-out. We notice that alot of the staff have been there for years as we travel every October and the faces are all familiar, which is a good sign for the hotel. Only downside was last year we stayed in a newly refurbished room, and this year we were in a old style room, that definitely needs a freshen up. Food options were varied, but restaurant did feel very busy at times but to be expected. Cant comment on entertainment as we went out every night, but on the whole this is a lovely hotel with good staff and we would recommend

We stayed for a week as a son and elderly mother and had separate adjoining rooms. We enjoyed our stay but wished we had gone to an adults only hotel like we did last year. We were surprised by how many British children were staying despite it being term time in the UK. My reviews split by Pros and cons Pros 1. Rooms very comfortable and spacious - beds comfortable and TV (a bit small) had BBC1 and BBC2 which was a relief for my mother. WiFi worked extremely well. Showers good and a big fridge. 2. Whole hotel is bright modern and kept very clean. Room cleaning was very good. 3. Pool area looked good but not for us. 4. Great Location with the beach , shops and restaurants close by. Bus stop close by and regular buses to Palma and Santa Ponsa. Aldi supermarket minutes away. Cons 1. We did not enjoy the restaurant - too cold too noisy and too chaotic - it was like my works canteen and not relaxing at all. Too many children either howling their heads off or running around whilst people carrying plates. We had 3 buffet dinners out of 7 - on the 3rd night our table was given to other guests whilst we were at the buffet !! We enjoyed going out to the restaurants minutes away. Perfect atmosphere for children but not for people wanting a relaxing meal. 2. Evening buffet had good choice of food but pretty similar each night. Plates at dinner were heated but could be cleaner. Absolutely no drinks included. 2 Euro 50 for a small tap water was a bit mean. 3. Breakfast we had 4 days out of 7 - some excellent breakfast places close by. Whilst a big choice the hot breakfast offer was very poor. Mainly because it wasn’t ever hot and the warm plates from dinner were stone cold. About the worst cooked eggs I have ever had. 4. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor facing the road. Quite a bt of noise from motor bikes and early morning trucks. Saturday night was the worst with shouting revellers outside, Perhaps the pool side would be better. Kids running up and down the corridors not under control did not help. All in all a nice stay but made better by going to excellent restaurants like Pablos,Eastenders and Florida. We went to Palma on the bus and had excursions to Soller which was a lovely place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our dining experience at Marsenses was truly made special thanks to Mostafa. He is such a humble, funny, and genuine person who went above and beyond to make every dining experience enjoyable. His warm personality and helpful nature added such a positive touch to our stay, and he made us feel so welcome every time. Also the head chef outstanding! The hotel itself is fantastic – the staff are all incredible, the food is excellent with a different theme each night and plenty of variety to suit everyone. Breakfast is also great with lots of choice. We honestly can’t fault a single thing here. We’ll definitely be returning next year – not just for the beautiful hotel, but also because of the amazing team who make it feel so special. Thank you, Mostafa, for making our holiday even better! Thank you again to all the staff for making our holiday amazing hospitality is 5star! We can’t wait to return same time next year our 3rd time returning to this hotel! :)

Back to a hotel we enjoy absolutely everything. Pool, entertainment, food, staff and the cleanliness. Perfect for a family, beach near by, great restaurants and accessible to absolutely everything you need.

Beautiful hotel and a great family holiday. Stayed 3rd July for a week, 2 adults and 6 year old. Upgraded to a junior suite on check in (we paid approx £150 extra) as there had been a cancellation and the room was fantastic. King sized bed with proper orthopaedic mattress and additional single for our daughter. Lovely big bathroom with shower, jacuzzi bath, double sink. Great kitchen with good sized fridge which was great for cold drinks. Plenty of hanger and storage space for clothes. Lovely big balcony overlooking pool area. Big tv also which was fab. We loved our room and felt like a home from home. Pool areas spotless and we loved going between the big pool and splash park which my daughter loved (plenty sunbeds here also) Food was beautiful, great variety and themed each night, Italian, Mexican, barbecue, Mediterranean as examples. Pool shack bar lovely we had lovely meals here. Night time entertainment directed at kids which my daughter loved, mini disco, movie night, mermaid day and we all loved the white part which was really great. We are in process of booking again now as going back next year. Probably our best holiday so far, loved it! Special mention to Pablo, Anais and I can’t remember the other female manager on reception who were great. All staff friendly and so helpful.

We arrived to our hotel yesterday afternoon. We were slightly alarmed when we checked in to find out if we wanted to use the safe in the room we had to pay a deposit and also pay a daily fee. Having paid this I then requested a bed guard for our little one. They said they had none in the entire hotel, despite being a ‘child friendly’ hotel. We then arrived at our room which was nothing like what we had booked through you. It was very dated and there were also lots of other issue’s which I will list below and enclose photos as evidence: Mould/ holes on lampshades Stains on towels Marks on walls Mould on floor and ceiling of shower We went straight to reception and were there for sometime explaining what had happened. They were reluctant to help and advised they would escalate to management but all management did was show us a second room which was of the same standard and advised we would need to complain to the holiday agent as this is their issue. (We have now done this) In the evening we found there was no iron in our room, we rang reception and they said they had non available. Later one became available but we had to go to reception to collect it, pay another deposit and were handed an iron with no ironing board! This hotel claims to be helping the environment by only cleaning rooms and pool towels every other day, however I am yet to find a fresh water re fill station so we are now going to have to go out and buy a tonne of bottled water to see us through our ten day stay! We have noticed a similar complaint has been raised via Tripadvisor so this is not the first time this has happened.

So friendly staff, perfect location and excellent food. The room was cozy and we loved the balcony. Washing machine was big bonus.
