Zafiro Palace Palmanova Apart-hotel

We are currently on the last day of a fantastic week at this hotel. We have been in one of the Zafiro Club suites (which was offered to us as an upgrade upon check in at a reasonable price), which are fantastic rooms with great additional perks such as waiter service of food and drinks around the pool (Bartosz and his team of waiters are great) and daily treats of food or alcohol in the room. You also have a dedicated staff member (concierge) if any problems arise - our concierge, Dorata, was great. The pools at the hotel are beautiful and there is never any issue getting sunbeds. The buffet food is very good and there is a wide range of choices for those, like me, with dietary requirements. In particular Laura A in the restaurants made a massive effort to make sure that I had all the gluten free options - bread, pancakes or croissants at breakfast, pizza (picture included below), burgers, cakes etc at other meal times. We also tried the Italian and Mediterranean a la carte restaurants where the food is excellent and the views across the resort are stunning. The selection of drinks available on the all inclusive package are extensive and very good quality (including Daura Damm gluten free beers). All staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. All in all, an excellent family holiday resort!

We had an amazing stay at Zafiro Palace Palmanova! We are family of 4 my daughts are 6 and 12. The resort is well maintained and the staff are so welcoming. One thing I have to mention that the food and services at El olive, Portico , Portico as well as the Sushi bar are absolutely amazing! My girls loved the kids pool and it's in the great location to Palma, the western water park and charming village of Valdemossa etc. We had a great time thank you so much for all the lovely staff at Zofiro Palace!

Beautiful hotel very clean and very friendly staff. Take full advantage of the a la carte menu. The only little fault would be that it was some times slow getting a waiters attention for a drink in the evening.

The hotel and grounds are always immaculate, the staff work so hard to maintain everything to a very high standard. Service, food and experience all very high quality. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Great hotel, attentive, professional staff, the food is excellent with a selection to suit all tastes. It was worth it for us, upgrading to the all-inclusive. The onsite restaurants are also very nice. It's, in a great location? Close enough to all the beaches and close enough to stroll to Magaluf if the mood takes you.

Well what can I say is Wow this hotel is absolutely amazing place, I travelled myself after needing too get away for a few days and boy was it a break the staff in this hotel made it so easy on arrival the staff were amazing and dressed very smart the room what can I say was massive. I was in a junior suite right at the end of block 2 and you could lie in sun all day it was so relaxing. Now for the good bits Breakfast Rodrigo and Gorge are the most amazing and hard working guys in that restaurant they keep this ticking all morning I’m gluten free and was hard at first but once they understood me they had my gluten free pancake croissant muffins ready for me in 5 minutes. Now too the veranda restaurant at lunch wow what can I say I had a tricky first day but again Gorge and Laura had it all sorted by the second day, then 3 day Laura steps up and gets me a gluten free pizza this girl is an absolute credit to Zafiro palace she is amazing even explaining what happens in the summer months with changes too pools and restaurants And last but not least the reception staff theirs too many of them too mention but Irene was amazing help, she took me around the penthouse suite room to let me see what they were like inside she was so sweet and helpful and for the Manager of this hotel Natalie this woman goes far and beyond too keep this hotel 5 star running she helped my stay immensely from my complimentary drinks too my gluten free carrot cake in my room she is One in a million of a woman thank you xx but the most important thing to me the Bali beds in the oasis pool are amazing and comfortable when the sun is beating down I didn’t use any of the pools but the pool towels are fantastic changed everyday in your room. I was all inclusive so drinks were filled up every day in fridge but 1 day just water but ask at bar and they give you more. My only gripe with this hotel was maybe just as it wasn’t that busy in April was sometimes the food was cold in buffet restaurant and plates weren’t hot plates hot keeps food hot but all ur cooked food is cooked as you wait it was delicious but if you say too staff it’s cold they will not hesitate too make more even 20 minutes before they close at night. The variety of foods is amazing from fruits too smoothies too wraps u’d never go hungry but what a do give 5 stars for is the quality of fresh food salmon was amazing. Can’t wait too go back in summer with my family now.

Fantastic Easter break. Hotel is lovely. We stayed B&B in a swim up room which was well worth it (particularly once the water was heated after the first couple of days). We ate once in the Italian and twice at the buffet on an evening and enjoyed it all times. Breakfast great too and all had lots of choice for me as a veggie. Enjoyed Palmanova too. Great beaches and dine great restaurants too - we particularly enjoyed Iroko, Olive Tree, Taylor’s and Max Garden

We usually stay at the Zafiro Hotel in Palmanova, but this year we decided to try something new and booked the Zafiro Palace. It was also our first time holidaying in April, and we were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Although both hotels fall under the same brand, they feel quite different. Zafiro Palace is noticeably more modern in design.. clean, stylish, and thoughtfully laid out. The reception and bar area is beautiful, and the welcome drink on arrival was a lovely touch. The restaurants are well furnished and visually appealing. Our room was spacious with a large balcony, and the mini bar (restocked daily and included in the all-inclusive package) was a nice extra, even though we barely touched it. Breakfast was perfect, and lunch at La Veranda offered plenty of choice. Dinner at the buffet could have been hotter, but it was decent and did the job. We upgraded to all-inclusive when we arrived, and we’re glad we did, especially for the drinks. The cocktail menu was excellent, and unlike other resorts, drinks were served in elegant glassware rather than plastic branded cups. It made the experience feel more premium, and we actually enjoyed the drinks rather than just drinking to “get our money’s worth.” The female bartender made a particularly good Old Fashioned! We also dined at the Japanese and Italian à la carte restaurants, which were both lovely. The female staff were especially attentive, and welcome drinks in the restaurants added a nice touch. The decor in each was so unique that it felt like we’d left the resort for the evening. One thing worth noting: inflatable lilos and rubber rings weren’t allowed in the pools, a first for us, and something we only learned when the lifeguard told us. Not a big deal, but it would’ve been helpful to know in advance. Because of this, our kids preferred the Dome Pool, which, unlike in the other local Zafiro hotel, is located separately, a short walk from the main pool. This meant we usually sat and watched the children as there isn’t a ‘big pool’ in that area and children must be supervised at all times. I imagine in the summer months it would be impossible to get a sun lounger facing the kids dome. It’s definitely a family-friendly resort, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to couples looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. There were lots of babies and children, often loud, which was fine for us as a young family, and we totally empathise with parents of unsettled kids. But if I were travelling without children, I can imagine finding it a bit overwhelming. The only real downside was the gym experience. Each time we went (5 out of 7 days), there were young kids, some as young as 8 or 9 on treadmills, playing with weights, and running around. When my husband raised this with the spa reception, the staff explained that because the indoor pool was temporarily closed, children were allowed in the gym if accompanied by an adult. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was great . We loved our hot tub and the outdoor beds on our two different balconies. The staff were very helpful when we had questions about the hot tub etc . The food at breakfast and lunch was amazing with lots too chose from and kind friendly staff for all meals . Tea was perfectly fine but the food was a little cold and there was not much variety. Children were running around and it was very noisy . Staff at the spa/indoorpool/gym were fantastic and were happy to help . Due to the season we came in ,most pools were cold but that can not be helped . Our room was cleaned too high standards and cleaners were very friendly. The drinks that they have on offer were incredible with a wide range of options. To conclude we would come back to this hotel but maybe not in the summer as it will definitely be busy .

We spent three days AI with our children 3 and 9. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. The rooms were clean with balcony and more than enough space for family of 4. Food was reasonable, not gourmet but totally acceptable for all inclusive. The cocktails were great esp pina colada! The children were ecstatic with the water park area and it was possible to sit with your cocktail around the pool while the kids went wild. Nice beach 5 mins away.. a very excellent Korean fried chicken cafe in Magaluf which exceeded expectations! We only stayed for 3 days so could only eat a la carte on one night.. it was ok, but def not a memorable dining experience. The sauna area was great, very relaxing. The pools were not hot but we like swimming in cold water. The children’s pools were heated. The only real annoyance was that the guests in the room next to us were smokers and if we left the doors open our room smelt of smoke. If I had known it was a smoking resort I def would have requested a non smoking area as it was quite unpleasant. I did call reception but nothing was done. Overall we had a good stay, service was good, great not having to think about anything but I’d say more a 4* not 5* experience.
